While the food and the coffee are quite tasty, the customer service is hit and miss. I've usually had great service at this location. They normally greet when you enter the door, make sure your order is correct, and provide suggestions if something is sold out. Today was a bit different though. Seems like the front counter staff are more engaged with their phone, instead of a customer popping in. Part of my order was missed, and the rep was right back to her phone once the transaction was complete. It doesn't really give a vibe that you're welcomed. I understand people need to look at their phone from time to time, but it doesn't really set a great tone when its done at the cash register, let alone when the customer is still there.

We walked into Fresh Kitchen in Marda Loop on Canada Day at 5:50pm. We went directly to the fresh salad cooler and there was a screen over it. We asked if we could open it to get a couple salads. The young girl said, “No, I’ve already done inventory. That is closed.” She was rude, and unhelpful. She didn’t apologize or offer any kind of solution. We were shocked and appalled. We have been supporting Fresh Kitchen since it opened, even when stock was low, we tried new items. We also bought the holiday meals that were delivered to our house. After this experience we won’t be going back. If you claim to be open, be open. And most importantly, hire staff who understand what customer service is.

Nestled between Village Ice Cream and Cobbs, Fresh Kitchen is the place to go for prepared foods that aren't full of salt and heavily processed. Real food. Real seasoning. Almost everything freezes well and I recommend it to anyone looking to gift meals to someone whether it is an overwhelmed parent or new parent. I think my only suggestion is that random items can be spicy (hot) or peppery enough my kids complain about it being spicy so you do have to read the ingredients in store. Grab a few meals, salads and bread next door and you're set for at least a couple of easy meals.

The whole ordering process was smooth and Kira did a great job with recommendations and guidance and was always very responsive and accommodating! I really appreciated how patient she was when our numbers increased, and she promptly checked with the kitchen about adding more food, which they were able to do. The set up was done well and they came on time and were very helpful with the food. The food was excellent and was highly complimented throughout the evening. The BBQ Beef Burnt Ends were a huge hit! Thank you for everything!

Had the opportunity to test 3 different desserts. Sticky Toffee I found to be tasty. Apple Crisp and Peach Cobbler the fruit was almost impossible to cut through. Perhaps using a bit more ripe fruit would allow me to give a 5. After spending over $70 for 6 desserts I was a little disappointed BUT I would buy Sticky again. Our daughter bought us the chicken breasts and have our fingers crossed as cooking this evening.

We continue to be delighted with the turkey dinner for two from Fresh Kitchen. Each Thanksgiving and Christmas we order their dinners and the food is delightful, delicious and oh so plentiful. The door delivery and the reheat instructions were perfect. Thank you Fresh Kitchen for making our holiday so wonderful.

I love the food, my only criticism is too salty. Especially the mashed potatoes part of meals. Need to hold back the amount of salt and let people add salt if they have a heavy salt palate. I am from Nfld and used to salt, but this is heavy even for me. It takes away from how great the base recipes are.

I ordered a surprise bag from an app, they're kind of hit and miss usually, but this one was awesome. The food was so good, especially the sandwich, I would buy food from here again for sure.

Excellent food all the time. The Shepherd's pie is very special as there is a good blend of spices in the meat, nice vegetables and excellent potatoes on top. I have never been disappointed in the food.
