I called to complain about a employee who was very rude and disgusting just for asking about pricing. When telling the manager about how the employee hung up and how I tried to call back MANY times and she/he deliberately did not answer, the managers response was that “ the lines are busy”. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with over the phone. I also I asked if I can speak to the owner of the hotel and he said HE COULD NOT DO THAT. Yes I’m writing a second post only because of the second encounter with the manager. If the owner of the hotel reads this, YOU NEED NEW STAFF! They are not welcoming at all and obviously have no pride for their jobs. I shall take my business elsewhere and wish the best of luck to whoever decides to deal with a insensitive staff like this

Don't believe these phony reviews saying how wonderful the place is. In reality this place should have been condemned a long time ago. It's roach infested and has rats the size of cats throughout the building. Not to mention the overwhelming smell of mold and mildew. How the city of Chicago permits places like this to do business is totally beyond imagination. This place should be condemned and burned to the ground. It's a public health and safety hazard.

Due to my circumstances, I loved it! This will do if you are in need of a quick place to stay for a while, without having to make a deposit like other hotels. I have to admit they do have roaches so bring roach spray lol I was scared, I slept with the lights on lol. The customer service is amazing and Brain (The manger or owner) is very nice. Also my bed was very comfortable and the water pressure and temperature was amazing!

Hotel of last resort, although the vending machine prices are reasonable. It hasn't been remodeled or cleaned in decades! There is a foul stench, I had a private room, the shower curtain was moldy, wouldn't bath in it, the carpet reeked the bed had clean sheets but I just lied on it. It's cheap and if you can find other accommodations do so I was stuck and had just enough to get this room it would have been better to ride the rails.

It's been a couple of years since I stayed here but the room was in very rough shape. It looked like a pack of gorillas had spent the last few nights drinking in it. I would have felt safer sleeping in my car now that I think about it. The only reason to stay here is to have a hilariously awkward and unpleasant experience to share with friends. Or maybe to pick up an std or two.

No refunds place is worser than the projects rat infested roach infested very dirty old bed smells very bad tv very old only one channel dirtiest bathroom I have ever seen and it’s so hot they only give your a dirty fan if there is no other rooms I suggest sleeping in the car frfr.

Terrible service.. im a tech support technician and was charged $10 for 30 minutes of attempting to assist my client.....but that was after arguing with the desk clerk for almost 30 minutes.. although I didnt stay the room was HOT AND REEKED OF MILDEW.....cramped and dark.....didn't even want to see the restroom. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE EVERRRRRR!

Misleading information way to much for a horrible room. Found a dirty needle with what looked to be heroin in it. Mice everywhere bedbugs cockroaches shady looking tenants and POOR house keeping. Beds are stained horribly. Someone needs to call about this building

I was very discriminated with my wife because she is peurto rican the desk clerk was ignorant and disrespectful ask for 2 pieces of identification from me and my wife i was very angry The desk clerk tried to insinuating a argument after I told her that was very inappropriate of her

This is the most dirtiest and cheapest place I have ever been to. It's not even the size of a closet and the bed and sheets are stained. The place seems like a crack infested house. The bath tub is disgusting and stained like in a horror movie you would have seen.

Infested with bed bugs, for the longest time that I know.. no good. The price is too high, too sleep with bed bugs.

Someone came into my room and broke my luggage bad roaches stained and brunt bed sheets God awful I complained Paco who works frontdesk said I couldn't rent a room unless I speak to a manager once again getting mistreated over police issues

The places is dirty had rat droping on floor in room they dont clean and when you leave to go out you cant take room key with you. You have to leave key with front desk with all your stuff in room. I would not recamend anyone to stay there

Bedsheets had red stains, part of it was broken and had holes. The hallway smelled foul, molded. Everything is dirty and previous review said there are bed bugs. We ended up leaving, of course they don't offer refunds either

If you ain't got a ton of money and need a warm bed to sleep in then this is your place...if your expecting a four star hotel then this ain't the place for you...remember....you get what you pay for

I didn't stay there but my parents did and they said it was f****** horrible the bedbugs would work on you day or night and don't even mention the roaches and the crackheads
