Absolutely blown away by the quality of food and the attentive service by the crew at Fumo cafe We had booked for a meal with family, to celebrate my birthday. Things went a little awry a day before, as the ferry from our home on Kangaroo island was cancelled and we were worried would face the same difficulties next day as a storm front rolled in - the Fumo team were very accommodating and kept our booking open….which was a relief as we were finally able to get a ferry off KI and to our second home in Eastwood The meal? Simply delicious - between the nine of us we had home made gnocchi, meatballs, blue swimmer crab, some pizza and - the unexpected surprise - of Nutella dessert pizza with ice cream. A wonderful way to enjoy my 55th birthday with family and friends - thanks to Fumo for a great feed. Our t only worry is that this place is 50m from our mainland house and we risk ever expanding waistlines!

The service was amazing. Not sure if the male was the owner? He was super friendly, very professional and perfect timing of everything - knew when to come over, when to leave us, very attentive- made for the perfect dining experience! the restaurant itself is a beautiful set up perfect for a romantic date or catch up with family/friends (love the dog outside as you go to the bathroom ) but the best thing .. the FOOOD oh my gosh, yumm!! Everything we ordered was delicious- even the coffee, which usually isn’t great at a restaurant- it was top quality, I even ordered a second. Thanks so much, I can’t wait to come back!

Awesome Italian restaurant, you must try this restaurant. We loved the pizza, the base of the pizza was great not soggy as what we get from other pizza shops. This had crispy edge and we love that. Great texture. We also ordered their pasta and had no regrets. The mushroom pasta was top notch, super creamy and cheesy. Very very yummy! We also ordered crab pasta and can really tell that the ingredients were really fresh. Would recommend this restaurant if you would want to have some great Italian food.

A gorgeous little find. Ventured to Fumo last night for opportunistic pizza to find that it's run by the same brothers who previously ran my favourite pizza place in Adelaide. A friendly welcome despite months of absence. The pizza was of superb quality (partly down to the superb twin wood oven setup) and the dessert was some of the best I've seen in Adelaide. Frankly I'm glad that we managed to get in before they've put up their signage: When this place hits its stride, it's going to be impossible to get in.

1st visit for my wife and I as guests for Lola’s birthday. We loved the food and I had a perfectly tender and generous marinara, just in olive oil so I could taste the ocean. The gracious staff made us feel like guests at their home. All the tables were filled and it was not too noisy. Certainly going back.

We had an amazing dining experience recently at Fumo. The service was great but the food was even more exceptional. I had the gnocchi and it was the best I have ever had.....even when I have travelled through Italy. The meals are traditional home cooked Italian and the service is the old fashioned “the customer comes first” approach. This restaurant is a hidden gem and has now become my regular “go to” with friends and business guests.

We ordered the crab pasta and duck pizza. I really liked the duck pizza. The duck was flavorful, and perfectly topped with Hoisin sauce. Crab pasta was decent, it tasted fresh and the tomato sauce was fragrant. However, for the price of $40, I personally did not find the crab pasta impressive enough.

Amazing family business and the epitome of hospitality and service. It’s a rare treat to see such humble restaurant owners deliver such amazing food with a huge emphasis on quality and decent sized served. The brothers are a great combination and tolerated our very unique personalities. Nothing was to much effort... I travelled 40 minutes to go here and it was well worth it and I can’t wait to take my family there.

Cozy Al fresco dining with a good selection of pastas, pizzas and wines.My daughter and I enjoyed the carbonara here on a busy Friday evening. The wait staff were very welcoming and even kept my daughters bike safely at the back during dinner. Flavorful pastas and good wine. A great addition to our neighborhood !

We turned up without a booking and asked for a table for four on a busy Sat evening the staff were happy to accommodate. Food was exceptional, service was amazing and a great relaxed atmosphere. The staff were so helpful. Great to see a family business so successfully run and especially the waitress who was the niece/daughter of the owners extremely polite and professional.

Fumo is a little gem on Glen Osmond Rd. The restaurant is cozy. The food is simply delicious. We were a big group on that day. Two big tables set up for us. The dishes were pastas and pizzas. All different kinds and all divine! The lady who looked after us was nice and sweet. Staff behind the counter great too. Had a lovely dinner. Highly recommended!

We have dined at Fumo on numerous occasions, most recently for our daughters 17th birthday. The food is always exceptional here and the service outstanding! Truely a beautiful family run business. A fantastic restaurant that we will continue to visit and recommend others to do the same. A huge thank you for making this birthday dinner so special.

It’s the wood fired oven pizzas and delicious Italian dishes, with the choicest of wine selections!! Their range of boutique Australian beer, always worth the experience!! It’s also the hospitality and dedication of this siblings run restaurant that makes you feel like a part of the family. You really should try it for yourself. Enjoy!

My pizza was great, and so was the gnocchi. The focaccia looked and tasted average. The major downside to this place is the exorbitant price.

Love this place. Ever since my husband stumbled upon it in early 2017. Started out trying the spaghetti carbonara and LOVED it. We dine at least once a month and nearly every time he as the carbonara (I also tend to keep having the Blue Swimmer Crab Gnocchi) YUM! YUM! YUM! is all I can say. Definitely worth trying.

Noisy & hard seats ; corkage $25 & we had to pour our own ; $47 for a small piece of fish and a large heap of salad mainly rocket with 2 uninspiring veg; those who ordered pizzas all left the crusts.The only saving grace was the tasty squid dish Can't think why our friends recommended the place,we felt ripped off

Walked in off the street with my son and husband and had the best pasta I have ever tasted and the most amazing wood fired pizza. The service was friendly and impeccable and atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. I cannot recommend this dining experience highly enough. More

Probably one of the best pizzas my partner and I have had outside of Italy. The crust is super fluffy and delicious, great thin base and super fresh ingredients on the top. Can't really fault anything. Highly recommended!

Fresh, genuine and delicious pizza, the Melanzane is my favourite. The house red is always really nice too. The service and atmosphere means I'm usually here until closing time, do yourself a favour and just GO!

The most incredibly delicious garlic bread on earth, superb pasta and very good pizzas. Inexpensive and exceptional flavors. Can be a bit slow when it gets busy, but it's worth it.
