Bowling alley
"Not a bad bowling alley"
"The lady up front was kinda rude"
"Everything about this place is outdated can't use your debit or credit card music is horrible"
"Horrible place"
"This was the absolute worse bowling alley ever"
Not a bad bowling alley. Everything was fairly clean and organized. Only thing is that you need to call ahead to reserve a spot because there are no walk ins for some reason. When we came there were maybe 10 lanes taken out of the 30+ lanes and they almost turned us away because we didn't call ahead. Doesn't make much sense to me. More
The lady up front was kinda rude. That bathroom is pretty bad. I couldn't order any food the entire time I was there because there was so many people. For it to have been a day where they had so many classes the kitchen staff should have had more support. I just felt bad for them.
Everything about this place is outdated can't use your debit or credit card music is horrible. Like suck the life out the place . It's after midnight they playing cartoons on the TV monitors and playing 80s music . This wasn't a good experience at . Don't think I will ever return
Horrible place. Everything is outdated for the price you pay. It's dirty. Everything is broken pretty much. With all those people going there I don't know how they're not fixing the lanes or actually have it look like a bowling alley. I will never go here again, waste of money.
This was the absolute worse bowling alley ever. The bar didn’t have much selection of drinks, The food is definitely overpriced. $16.25 for 5 chicken wings, fries & soda.. The fries weren’t even seasoned, chicken was plain and mid. No bowling shoes.. Need to do better More
It's was okay. Nice family atmosphere. Was going to play some games but it was a lil warm. When asked, they said the boss doesn't want to make it cooler. The chicken wings weren't good. Too much flour or breading. Was doughy inside. Would come back, just to bowl. More
This place is amazingly awesome!! The staff are super friendly. Years ago it used to be that you had to pay per game . Now you can bowl as many games as you want per hour. This place is totally family friendly. I highly recommend for a great family outing More
I am giving this place one star cause I waited on line for over 30 min very slow staff poor attitude. When I got to window I was asked if I had a reservation and told to come back after 30 min after waiting in line for over 30 min. Will never come back here.
When we walked in we asked for shoes and they told us we can go without bowling shoes.layer one of the people working there said that we need bowling shoes and said that if we bowl 1 more time he would shut our lane. Horrible and rude would never come back
The bathroom is Gross to the max and the bowling alley is super run down. Not to mention the people that was there today are very racist. It's really sad that people are still living like that after everything we have been through. Smh life is short.
I went to this place today. They took too long for our orders. Rushing us to be in there. The bathroom was nasty and old. Horrible customer service the could’ve done so much better . They were watching us so hard like we were going to do something.
I've been coming here since the early 90s and it's still a good place to take the family. Much less crowded than it was back then. Good music and many available lanes on a Friday night. Price was decent and the service for the lanes was great.
So I’ve been coming here for years and was even in a league here. I tried bowling today with my family from out of state and I was told I needed a reservation in order to do so. I was cool with it until I ask the people online if they had a
Went here a week or 2 ago with the wife, our friend and our godson. Swore to myself id never come back to this bowling alley due to staff being racist years prior (tried them twice and both times they treated myself and my friends a certain
Woman at front that works every Sunday is disgusting. She treats individuals with disabilities like second citizens. I work for an organization that goes there every Sunday with people with disabilities. She makes us wait an hour each time
My family and I enjoyed this place, I first want to start out saying the food was really good my favorite was the wings, and drinks but , the pizza I didn’t like it taste like rubber that needs to change. The employees at the food side was
3 stars because all of what sucks about this place isn't really their fault. Can't say anything bad about the balls or lanes, but if you go on a busy day, do not expect the other patrons to show any understanding of bowling etiquette. I'm
They’re rude. I work with a school and things sometimes up and happen last minute (if you’re in education, you know.) I call to simply ask if they have any availability for about a week from now. Maria, I believe her name was, says: “are
Security here asks to see your bag and grabs wallets out. He shouldn’t be touching any items and instead asking customer to remove it. And then they force masks on but their own security guard can’t even keep his mask on. Front desk lady
We had so much fun! We played three games in an hour. I want to mention there was a security guard at the door with a metal detector and made us empty our pockets Which i thought was strange, made me feel unsafe! The place seems a little
Decent bowling experience, -1 star for the mean lady at the register sharing her unwanted negative personal opinions on Marijuana, just ended up being rude and leaving my GF and i confused. Also, I think the combos are way overpriced $17
I’m currently at this place and I usually don’t write reviews but for this place I will… There’s an old gray hair gentleman that takes orders in the kitchen that’s very rude and unprofessional. I bought two bottles of water and he served
The name to this place changes every couple years for the 30 + they knew it as gill Hodges lanes for the 25 and under we knew it as Snyder Lanes . and now it is known as fun fest . What stayed constant is the prices are fair $15 bucks a
I hosted my sons birthday party at Funfest last week, and it was an AMAZING experience. Our party was on time, no issues, food was good, the hostess was helpful and knowledgeable, and the place was clean and family oriented. I liked the
I don't even know where to begin with this place. Horrible, horrible customer service, terrible food and a racist owner/manager! My family and I visited on a Sunday morning for a special they offered. We paid for 2 lanes and all of our
Came here for a birthday party. Was very unorganized, the hosts were all over the place. Mistakes in kids names and assigned lanes. Was suppose to be kid drop off party from 4-6pm as per agreement. 4-5pm bowling, 5-5:30 food, 5:30-6pm
Don’t waste your time going here.. this place is old and needs to be renovated or shut down. Half the games at the arcade don’t work. Bathrooms are nasty. The system is just way out of date. Had a frustrating time here. First and last
You want good bowling and great staff, you come here to funfest. Beautiful bowling alley , great food and music. If you're looking to have fun you come here! Great atmosphere, music is always good and overall the best in Brooklyn!
Classic, outdated but it’s cheaper than other alleys and it’s no frills. The customer service is a bit lacking but you get a real 80s 90s experience of bowling without all the fancy lights and toys. Great local spot for bowling.
Bowling lanes were good. Staff did their job. Music was OK. Didn't try the food but then again, it's bowling alley food, so don't expect the best. Spent $60 for two people, and we played for two hours. Overall good place.
We used to come here to bowl because of how local and convenient it is but the staff is not friendly at all. Treated my family and I very nasty. Had enough of it. I’d rather go elsewhere a little farther than go here now
You could wear your own shoes which is kinda cool. If you are looking for a place where there is a foot cross detector when you cross the foul line , so there is no such sensors . They make a lot of sense sometimes.
I’ve been going here for years with no issues. The most recent time I came on a Saturday they talking about pay just to get in the door. Must be new management Never coming again.
I remember when Funfest used to be called Gil Hodges Lanes. Renovation is much better and the atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting not like from the past.
My friend and I called ahead for rates and planned a visit when we arrived we were told there were no lanes available but the place was nearly empty. Not cool.
This place was very expensive its 5 dollars for a cup of frys! And the food was dry the only food part was bowling
Really fun to bowl there but like the rest of the USA and specifically NY, their Covid precautions are pointless.
A nice and fun place to go with friends and family. I did enjoyed the game with my bestie …
Nice and cheap place to bowl. I just really hope they replace those weird faucets in the men's bathroom
I had a great time I'll be doing that again you have to make reservations they didn't do that before
Super rude. Called to reserve a lane after reading the reviews and the woman hung up.
It was a good atmosphere . We had a blast. Only thing notice no ramps.
I had a great time and staff was great. Decently priced. Thank you.
It was a good experience. Spacious and not crammed.
Customer support wasn't as expected. 5 ppl per lane
Looks like fun and plan on going there soon.
Good place but bowl 360 have more fun
