The worst furniture company i’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. I purchased a sofa from Furniturestop in November 2021, and was offered a delivery slot in the same week. I was unavailable to receive the sofa so had to reschedule. Except it wasn’t rescheduled - I had to chase their courier company - SGK logistics numerous times, received differering advice as to whether my sofa was planned to be delivered or not. For the first delivery attempt, their van was “stuck in traffic” three hours after delivery was due, with no proactive contact from either SGK or Furniturestop. The second delivery attempt, their van broke down and I was told it would be delivered the following day. On the third delivery attempt, the drivers did not speak much english so it was very difficult to explain how to navigate the sofa into my flat as there are a few tight corners that can be navigated with the right technique. I called furniturestop who told me that it was my responsibility to take ownership of the situation (very difficult with a language barrier), and by the time I had finished the call the drivers had loaded my sofa back onto their lorry and left. I then contacted furniturestop who advised me they only deal with complaints by email (convinient!). They refunded me, however deducted a £66.99 delivery fee (despite offering free delivery and not providing any terms and conditions specifying this!). I emailled a further four times but my emails were ignored. I had no alternative than to contact trading standards on the grounds of there being no terms and conditions available at the time of purchase or on my request. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone - poor customer service, ignoring emails and awful courier contractor. We opted to use Sofology moving forward.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I ordered a sofa and a bed. The bed arrived damaged with missing parts. The sofa took over 6 weeks and i ended up cancelling as I was moving into an unfurnished flat and needed something to sit on. I am a teacher so I was sleeping on the floor without a bed and teaching my lessons on the floor without the sofa yet that didn’t bother them at all. They would only deal with my request over email. I was dealing with someone called Grace and she was clueless. Kept giving me false dates that the items would arrive and then resulted in ignoring my emails - they had clearly not been trained on difficult conversations and dealing with missing items. Because I was being ignored, I tried their number and I was told that they have nothing to do with orders and cannot offer refunds, I have to email the customer service team yet they were able to refund me instantly for the sofa - doesn’t make sense! I was getting so fed up that it resulted in myself claiming on my credit card. I made the furniture stop aware that I will be claiming and the ‘sales team’ who I spoke to on the phone were SOOOOO rude telling me I didn’t have a leg to stand on and gave me a £10 partial refund for a £300 bed. 2 months later, I received a full refund for the bed from the credit card company so I advise anyone who has gone through the same as me to do that. They were a terrible company and are completely ripping people off. Go through the well known brands and pay that little bit extra for the customer service and on time delivery. Don’t make the same mistake as me and go through the Furniture Stop. They are AWFUL.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER FROM THIS TOTAL SHAM OF A COMPANY!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE. I ordered a bew corner sofa from this sham company, it came and they put it together, it was only after a couple of days when I hoovered behind the sofa that I realised the lining at the bottom was all torn and the stitches were coming away at the seam on the corner piece. I contacted them by phone which was a waste of time as they told me to email and that they could not help. I emailed attaching pictures of the damage, and was told that their so called "technical team" would come out to my property on a Thursday or a Saturday to inspect the damage. Now most half decent companies would simply apologise for the damage and arrange immediately to send out a new piece...but ohhh noo not Furniture Stop!! They want to firstly inspect the damage even though pictures have been sent and then take away that piece of the sofa to repair rather than replace. So I'll have an incomplete sofa for god knows how long, I don't know when this farcical technical team will be coming I just keep being told wait for a call so causing a HUGE inconvenience to me and wasting my Saturday as I've no idea when or if they will even be coming!!! It's a complete and utter joke and to be honest the quality of their stuff isn't that great either!! Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this company. Absolutely despicable!!

Very dissapointed with the customer service, ordered 2 sofas that came in in wrong colour, Emailed customer service stating that I ordered a different colour sofas they said that I ordered black but I double checked that I ordered brown. They asked me to pay 110 pounds for an exchange, what i refused because things happen and error can apply on both side, I was willing to wait 2 more weeks to get the sofas i wanted. Sent a few fallow up emails to make sure my sofas are gona be send out accordingly, they never responded, then I called them they ensured me I will get them this Friday. Comes friday I get no information about the delivery, I call the customer service again. "You ordered black we attempted the delivery". Fallowing that they said it will take 2 more weeks to get brown in stock, what i refused and asked for a refund, atleast that dident take weeks. They also charged me 66.99 for dillivery that I refused because it was not the right colour. Overall very dissapointed with the customer service. Never got to the product part it might of been worth the wait but now I won't find that out. Can say they lost a valuable customer because of a bad service expierence.

I bought a chesterfield double bed £500, it arrived on time, and well covered with bubble wrap/packaging. I had a quick check and it looked fine. I left it in packaging as was renovating flat, then was on holiday. I then set the bed up but found the main piece of wood in the footbed was split so unable to attach main bracket for it. Making bed completely useless. I contacted furniture stop who said they would look into it, lots of back and forth eg they are waiting for manufacturers was talking to GRACE.. Now saying they won’t replace part, or give refund or swap bed for one that is not damaged as I’ve had it more then 14 days. Completely refused to help so I’m now stuck with a £500 bed that is not usable/fit for purpose. No response from them now so all I can do is report the business as it is performing illegal activities, trading standards, citizens advice and hope they actually get dealt with appropriately as they are not following the law and ally of customers are now being cheated. Never Use them.

IGNORE 5 star reviews, they're clearly fake. Absolutely awful company, avoid at all costs! Issues from the moment we ordered. Awful communication on delivery. When we asked when it would arrive so we could plan around it, they said 'we don't know it is with the courier' and advised just to decline delivery over and over again until we got the day we wanted... Sofa was then dumped at the door. We were then told to unpack it to bring it inside (without help). When we called furniture stop to process a refund within 7 days (legally we are permitted to process a refund without a reason), we were told we weren't entitled to one because it had been removed from packaging. This is again illegal. After 3 weeks worth of emails have gone ignored, we have been forced to involve Trading Standards to help deal with this awful company. Oh, and also, the Sofa is awful quality and uncomfortable.

Bought 6 sofas that were in stock. 3 weeks later despite contacting the company I’ve yet to receive a delivery date. Very poor as we were trying this company out for our furnished Leeds property portfolio. I’ll hope to update this post when they confirm a delivery. Update. All the sofas were delivered eventually but all badly damaged. All were described as “made of high quality leather”. They are made of cheap plastic coated fabric. After countless emails trying to have this resolved I’ve got nowhere except Grace in customer service insinuating that we were stupid to believe they were real leather as described. Misrepresentation at its worst and no resolution for the damage on each sofa. No offer to take back under their 30 day returns policy that clearly doesn’t exist. Just AVOID this company at all cost!

Company and Products to avoid Ordered a sofa which took almost 3 months to arrive when promised in 6 weeks. When it arrived the sofa was damaged and took a huge effort to get them to recognise it was down to them to get repaired or swapped. Their first response was for me to get it repaired myself. Finally when they arranged a repair with a local this was carried out by a high quality individual who commented on the poor quality of the build of the sofa. Now just over a year on from having the sofa delivered, all of the cushions have had to be re-filled as they went totally flat and made the sofa so uncomfortable. Poor Quality Product supplied by a company with Poor Quality Customer Services. If this is your only choice of company to buy from them I would suggest sitting on the floor

I ordered a bed in December 2021. Only in January did they inform me the bed will be in stock towards the end of March - nothing of this was mentioned on their website about delays. After spending timing choosing this bed I decided to wait. It came to the middle of March I had heard nothing, so again emailed to find out where the bed was to be told it won't be until the end of April now. Middle of April still heard nothing, contacted again as had enough of waiting - to be told its in stock and will send - its not arri ed as of the 27th April! Customer service extremely poor, lack of communication, no apologises and have been sat on nearly £500 of my money for over 4 months. I can't comment on the quality of the bed yet as still not seen it!

I would give this company a 0 if i could. They delivered me a sofa and foot stool which do not match. The colours are wrong. I have emailed for over 6 weeks and they have not replaced it or collected it but say they will. They don't pick up the phone. Their customer service is shoddy and a sales rep tried to tell me it is my fault, even though the items were wrapped up. I would avoid this company they are really unprofessional and the sofa I ordered isn't particularly nice or comfortable. I am going to report this company to trading standards and try to claim the money back. Save yourself the hassle and go to a reputable company.

I want to start off by saying the service was 10/10 I literally have no complaints I was really worried at first as it was my first time purchasing a sofa set on line and thought the price of the sofa set is to hard to believe , I was also worried about not getting an update on my delivery but I reached out to the company and they responded back the following day also delivery was in time and in-fact way earlier than I had expected. The sofa set was a 3 seater and a 2 seater as in the picture it was already fixed when delivered all I had to fix was the bottom sofa holders and that was simple ! thank you so much ! My

Avoid this company at all costs Avoid. Ordered a two piece sofa and they delivered me a completely different sofa which is cheaper than the one I purchased. Contacted them by email as they do not have a contact number for the support team. They have ignored my emails for two weeks and nobody is getting back to me. Please do not use this company as save yourself some money and time. As a new homeowner this is very disappointing as I cannot move in until I have sofas. In summary, please do not bypass this review, find another company who will respond to emails.

Avoid this company at all cost. They've send me a sofa that it's not even close to what I've seen in the pictures and I've announced them that I want to return the item. After one week of emails back and forth I don't know yet if a courier it's booked to collect the sofa, they stopped answering to my emails. Above that, they told me that I have to pay 66.99 return charges ‍♀️ Even after I have agreed to pay this outrageous price, I still don't have a confirmation that they will send someone to collect the item.

abysmal company, i would give no stars if i could. Purchased through the b&q website, not realising it was a marketplace item and that it would not be shipped by b&q. Promised delivery within 10 days, it has now been over 3.5 weeks. Still no sofa, requested a refund over a week ago and keep being told it is being “escalated” and receive no other response. Wish i’d seen these reviews before buying, terrible customer service and a SCAM

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Even 1 star is generous. I ordered and received an ottoman bed, one of the arms is faulty so I notified them a year ago and they replied to ask for photos initially and noting since! Now the bed is unusable completely! Absolutely disgusting that they think this is ok! And also paid extra for a decent mattress which already has springs popping though! Shouldn’t be allowed to trade!

Ordered sofa. They Took the money. Then Emailed immediately saying out of stock and need to wait 3-5 days for a refund. So if you want to Loan them your money for a few days and get nothing in return this is the place to do it. Now we can’t order another sofa until this money is returned. Total waste of time. Atrocious company. Chair arrived with a hole in it 3 months ago. Assessor came out 6 weeks ago - then NOTHING! NO refund or exchange - NO contact!!! DO not use this company - we have contacted trading standards about selling goods that are faulty .

Very good communication, 2 man delivery on time, dismantled and assembled the sofa in the room we wanted. However, sadly, they did not take the rubbish and that let you down. Apart from that the sofa is comfortable and fits lovely in the lounge.
