Went to GJ Auto Repair on the recommendation of another garage nearby and had a wonderful experience. I arrived only 10 minutes before closing and was greeted welcomingly by the lovely receptionist. I had a minor issue that needed to be repaired with the body of my car and was told it could be fixed easily by James. Despite this being a small job that was priced to me for a very inexpensive fee, GJ Auto accommodated my work hours, opening early for me to drop my car the next morning and reassured me they would stay until I was able to return to collect it despite me running a little late on the agreed time. The work done was seamless and my car looks good as new. I would also note that as a woman going to get a service done at a garage alone, I usually feel skeptical that I will be taken advantage of in order to make more money than necessary. I did not feel this way and found the team to be exceptionally understanding and kind. Would highly recommend! :)

GJ was recommended to me by a friend and I am so happy I took his advice. I was involved in a motorway incident and this resulted in me requiring a new bumper, axle repair, 2 new wheels, spray etc As they came so highly recommended I asked them to do the whole car as I had some other minor scrapes on one side, front bumper etc and my alloys were horrendous (my fault unfortunately). I collected my car on Friday and I am still smiling, she looks like brand new, the paintwork is fantastic and the alloys are amazing. I honestly cannot recommend this garage highly enough. Not only have they surpassed my expectations with the work that James has carried out but also the communication from Sophie was brilliant. She totally went the extra mile to help me with my insurance company who were to be honest unhelpful to say the least. 5 stars across the board from me. This week I had such a pleasant experience with the staff at GJ Auto Repair that I felt I must leave a review because they really looked after me. I’m from Ireland and I have my car over in England with me while I visit the country and earlier in the week my bonnet wouldn’t close as there was a problem with the mechanism and as a result my car would not lock. I don’t know any mechanics in Manchester as my mechanic lives back home so I called into GJ Auto Repair completely by chance. Call it the luck of the Irish if you wish but I couldn’t have found a better place to have my car problems resolved. The staff were so friendly and were able to locate the problem and fix it in such a short space of time. If you’re looking for a friendly, honest and professional service I would highly recommend GJ Auto Repair!

I am really happy that I was referred to GJ Auto Repair Centre by Renovo after my car was hit from behind putting a dent in the bumper. Communication with Sophie and James was excellent, letting me know what the process was and providing updates along the way. On the day I took the car in I arrived well before opening time just to beat the traffic. As it happened by coincidence James had turned up earlier than usual. In his usual cheerful way he took the keys and explained the next steps. The next day I got a call that the car was ready. The workmanship was excellent and the car looked immaculate. Needless to say, if I ever need bodywork doing, I know where to go.

Gj auto did an amazing job on my van ,it was looking abit tired ,so decided to do a full facelift & total colour change. James came out to look at my vehicle & parts and went through everything with me . So we got it to there shop and left them to it . Come time I was scheduled to be ready to pick up , it was all ready & im absolutely amazed of the job they have done . It’s literally like a brand new van . The best service ever!!! I desperately needed my van fixing after the sliding door fell off! (yes - true that doors can fall off Clown's vans!!). James arranged pick up and a quick repair keeping me updated everyday! At the time of the repair I was away for a few days and he also arranged the van to be dropped off ready for my return!! You need a garage that offers professional, friendly and reliable service well this is it . The lady from reception who I believe is the owners son was so friendly and professional. Appointment sorted promptly when I was provided with a quote and when the job was completed I received a phone call . Really happy with the work carried out . It's nice to find a garage where they don't rip you off . Highly recommended.

Had to use GJ Auto Repair as my car had broken down and the recovery company damaged my car's front bumper when they loaded it onto their lorry. Decided to get some other bumps & scratches sorted whilst it was with these guys. All the work was carried out to a high standard and the customer service was spot on. Thanks to Gary, Jamie, Sophie and the team. These guys are brilliant. My insurer's approved centre was too far away so I got the permission to use a local firm instead. A friend recommended GJ and they didn't disappoint. Sorted all the admin out with the insurers, booked me in quickly and gave me back a sparkly new car in perfect condition. friendly and helpful throughout, can't fault them, lovely people.

Very happy with the work completed by this family run business. Took my car in for a polish and was greeted by the friendly and helpful receptionist, Sophie. I was able to collect my car later in the day and was delighted with the work carried out by James who made my car look as good as new again. Great service, done with professionalism and a smile.

Had work on car done through insurance. When collected, it looked like a completely new car! Paint work was excellent, inside was valeted to a great standard, it had never looked so clean since it was new! Fantastic work! Some minor work needed doing as well as one large scrape down the side and it looked like a new car on picking it up. Can't fault them beyond expectations and even came back sqeeky clean inside and out. Will definitely be using them again and recommending them to everyone.

I have used this centre previously. Lovely staff called in for a quote for repair. Reasonably priced booked in for the following week car dropped off Tuesday morning picked up Wednesday good as new. Highly recommend this repair centre and would definitely use them again

On visiting Manchester, we had an issue with our Audi due to the plastic undercarriage cover coming loose and dragging on the road. We called this repair shop, James fixed it there and then with no hassle. Very friendly and welcoming people. Would definitely recommend.
