My first time ever coming to The Gold Depot and I had a terrible experience! :-( I was advised to take my white gold & diamond hoop earrings here as my post had broken off 1 earring and I couldn't wear them. They were a gift from my husband so I wanted to be able to wear them. I went in just before lunchtime on 11/15/19. The salesman Malik told me that as long as my earrings were gold, they could repair the post; if they were silver, they would not be able to repair the post. He then took the earring to the back to their "jeweler"and he never came back to say if it could be fixed. I waited and never left the counter. I could smell the machine burning as he supposedly fixed the post on my earring. After waiting for about 25 mins, the "jeweler" came up and handed me my earring. I handed the female employee a $20 bill and as I looked at the earring, I noticed the post was fixed but more than half of the diamonds were missing!!! The earrings originally had 2 rows of diamonds from top to bottom of the hoop. When I asked them what happened to my diamonds, I was told by the jeweler and the female employee that the heat from the fire had melted the gold over the diamonds...so needless to say I now have 2 TOTALLY different earrings...the jeweler offered to melt the other earring that still had the diamonds so that they could look alike - WTF HELL NO! I need to speak with the owner please. I was given a phone number and name of Dharma by Malik. In addition, there was another male customer there with a Guess watch and he was having issues with them as well. He told me he had taken his watch there just to have the battery replaced and they had kept his watch for over 3 weeks and never called to tell him his watch was ready! They wanted him to leave his watch with them and they were going to "send it to their main office" for repair. I was definitely deceived and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone have jewelry repaired there!!!

I bought a rope necklace. The next day it broke. Got it fixed and it broke 2 days later. I took it back and they tried to charge me to fix it and said it keeps breaking because its hollow. If its so hollow that it will break by taking it off then why sell something so cheaply made for such a high price. I got it as a gifted for someone and everytime i speak to them they tell me how the necklace broke again i have gotten the necklace fixed 5 times literally i just want my money back but guess what no refunds

Horrible service took my necklace to get fixed on a Sunday. I was told it would be ready the next day I actually went to pick up that Tuesday. My necklace and bracelet was broke again came Thursday. When o went back I was told they couldn’t fix it. It was broke in the same exact spot. Horrible service and horrible customer service. They say you get what you pay for I guess that’s why I got cheap service

Kept a total of $500 that my husband put into his layaway for a chain/pendant & decided to drop the layaway& was extremely non negotiable.. this was supposed to be my Xmas gift.. my husband had to tell me because he had invested so much already into that "gift" .. What an ugly way to be for the holidays!! Just stay away from this place. Clearly have no morals & are scammers

Estaba buscando dónde pusieran los aretes a mi hija. Éste fue el lugar indicado. A pesar de mi hija tener dos años y estar asustada. Ellos manejaron muy bien la situación y lograron hacerlo muy bien. Lo mejor de todo es que todo salio perfecto y mi hija super bien con todas las recomendaciones que nos dieron.

Called needed a price on a gold chain to save time and gas. And was told they cannot give out the price over the phone. You also have to show an ID or drivers license to see something from the show case. wow What kind of place is this? I am an elderly lady not going to run out of the store with anything.

Horrible service I bought a chain to get fixed, and it broke again in the same spot that they supposedly repaired within 2 days. Brought it back to see if I could be accommodated in some way and wasn’t. Very terrible customer service
