Where do I start! Theo has had over 30 years in the audio industry and is a true professional at what he does. I brought my car in for a custom quote and with some parts I wanted installed for a full audio system (initially it was just going to be a sub, amp and headunit + accessories but Theo sold me on the dream XD. I'm so glad I listened to what he suggested.) which included: a subwoofer (jl audio 12w3v3-4), custom ported sub box, sound-proofing, focal slate-fibre front and rear speakers, 1 focal class d and 1 jl audio LC-1.800 amplifiers, a head unit (Alpine iLX-509A), (one in the dash and under the seat) and other accessories; a dash cam, microphone, rear back-up camera, dual cig usb flush mount, DAB antenna. Theo went straight to sussing out what will fit and what might not. I wanted a custom box install and the measuring began. Ported, sealed or whatever, he can do it! And bloody well. Straight to the point, and that's what matters. Theo is a very passionate car audio enthusiast and a great bloke. If you want your audio system to be badass and top quality, look no further! The service I received from Theo and the team at GT Autosound is undoubtedly the best I’ve ever experienced. Hands down! I first enquired online which Theo responded to straight away, prompting me to visit their workspace to have a chat and after 45 minutes of Theo walking me through the process and providing me with a variety of options… I ended up booking him in for the dearest package purely because I trusted that Theo had my best intentions at heart and would install the exact quality of sound system I wanted. That he did! Over the timeframe of the install Theo kept me updated with photo’s and stuck to his word with pricing, even when some components of my car became trickier than first expected. I picked up my car this evening and he sat with me until 8pm making sure the frequencies were balanced and I was happy with the final sound. It sounds unreal! Thanks to Theo and the team for tackling a challenging job with vigour and confidence. My Lotus Evora badly needed an upgrade from a factory system that was pretty ordinary. Theo listened carefully to my requirements which were very high quality Bluetooth phone calls. Apple CarPlay support. Digital radio and a total of three video inputs for front and rear parking cameras plus an integrated DVR/traffic recorder with parking mode support. I was prepared to upgrade speakers but Theo thought they would be ok but he adjusted the crossovers, added extensive sound deadening around the subwoofer space and the result is excellent. Digital radio (DAB+) in particular is very clear with great separation and clear range. The system sounds so good that Spotify quality needs improving to take advantage of the improvements ! Thanks team for listening, communicating well and regularly and managing the whole process leaving me with a clean car at the end and a good result within budget. Highly recommended!

A big thanks to GT Autosound for the immaculate installation of the Toyota Blades new audio system, couldn’t be happier with all the quality component recommendations by Theo & the 5 star service was bloody incredible some of best I’ve experienced. From the complete sound deadening pack to the factory look, integrated USB hub (it’s even got matching Blade blue LED accents). But the new Sony deck with Focal Speakers sound absolutely insane & the fact that Focal make the upgrading with seamless with Toyota® connectors is a huge plus for that little extra resale value especially when you’ve got a vehicle that less than 2880 we’re ever made, you want the modern features but only try to use bolt on/plug n play downgrade-able accessories only. If you want top service using only the best components with immaculate workmanship & zero stress don’t go and see the guys at GT because they will be too busy to do my next upgrade .

All the great and consistent customer feedback below speaks volumes for both Theo and GT Autosound, my experience was the same 5 star treatment but I will add my 2 cents. For starters Theo has customer service down, it is probably some of the best I have ever experienced. The clarity of explanation, crazy fast email/sms response even after business hours at times, and taking the time to show me the ins and outs of the new setup once installed was all much appreciated. They only deal in quality components that are tried and true to last, no cheap knock off stuff that will lead to unreliability. Massive 24 month warranty for product and lifetime installation warranty. Pricing was extremely competitive. I approached GT Auto sound with a rough idea for a custom sound system for my 1998 Celica. Theo listened to what I had in mind and knew instantly what type of system would be suitable for my 25 year old car & budget. I was won over by his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm. I have taken my European SUV to GT audio sound to be upgraded from the bog stock ordinary stereo the guys at GT audiosound have surpassed my expectations on both occasions first time was to upgrade to focal speakers second time was to put a focal amplifier in the vehicle both times I was super impressed with the quality of workmanship and the attention to detail and the percentage of change has always been 50% or more improvement over what I had before I started I can't say enough about the workmanship and the quality of these gentlemen I would highly recommend you if you have a European SUV to get it upgraded with these guys.

Lamborghini Adelaide recommended Theo at GT Auto sound to install a car tracking and security system for my Performante, at first i was concerned having the car moved to another workshop and have someone work on the car as i could not make it to Adelaide, however after talking with Theo i was immediately comfortable due to his extensive knowledge and the care he took when recommending the right system for the car. Absolutely incredible service and craftsmanship. The boys in the shop were very helpful when I first went in for a quote and the results were even better. Theo hooked me up with an amazing sound system at a really good price and I could not be happier with the result. Recently I took my car to the GT Audio sound guys for a new car audio and rear camera. They did a very good job. The Alpine was great! Top bloke, George did my stereo / dab+ / nav install and had it all done and working in just over an hour. No loose wires or cords sticking out, even fixed up a cracked bit of the dash trim that was rattling around the stereo. Highly recommend and will definitely go back there for any audio needs
