Nice little bodega in the Leslieville area of Eastern Toronto for anyone looking for a casual bar to drink at. While I typically go there to watch Canada soccer matches, it also has weekly trivia and comedy nights as part of their plan to cater to all sorts of clientele. I’m sure they will have more theme nights over time, which will keep things fresh and fun. Drink options are mainly local craft beers and craft vodka mixers in addition to your standard hard liquor options. So, a local bodega that supports local brewers and distillers is an added bonus! Also offers a very chill vibe mainly because it’s far removed from the tourist hotspots of Toronto and the bar owners and staff are from the area. Basically, they treat all customers as if they were family or a part of the community. Finally, while they do not have a kitchen to serve food on site, they do have some partnerships with some of the local restaurants nearby. Again, it’s pretty awesome for this bodega to support other local businesses.

I recently discovered this Garden Bar after doing my workout at Primal Academy down the street. I love the variety they have - great beer and an amazing selection of vodka sodas. Not to mention their patio is dog friendly, very fun. There's a new brand there called Pawsitive Spirits that had a wonderful Black Cherry and Mango Passionfruit! I will definitely return and almost certainly bring my pup! Thanks Garden staff for being so accomodating.

So happy to discover this charming, vibrant, hip place! Food great and especially enjoyed discovering Pawsitive Spirits- a seltzer vodka low cal all natural drink! It’s just about perfect! I tried new cocktail called Pawsitive Spirits that was light and refreshing and supports local animal shelters! Great vibes, friendly staff and an unreal dog friendly patio!

Awesome spot with a great vibe! Roomy patio, friendly service and a solid selection of drinks. They also offer some drink/snacks for grab & go in case you want to hang out in one of the nearby parks. Absolutely loved both evenings that I've spent there and will definitely be back again in the future!

I recently moved into the Dundas and Carlaw area and have wanted to have a chance to meet some new friends. I went to the patio last weekend at the Garden Bar and actually was able to meet a few new friends. Amazing spot and definitely recommend! I will be back!
