I enjoy visiting magical tourists sites in the country. My destination at Kisite –mpunguti Marine national Park . We traveled to Shimoni KWS dhow jetty where we boarded a community dhow. This was my first excursion to sea so before setting sail, I inquired from the KWS office at Shimoni on the safety of the dhows. I was assured by KWS customer office at Shimoni that these were safe dhows, cleared by KWS and were operated by the local community groups.I therefore boarded one of the community dhows among 20 other tourists. We got a brief from the local guide about the journey from shimoni to at Kisite-mpunguti- Marine Park , then stop over at Wasini- Island for lunch before returning to shimoni mainland , about 3-4 hrs dhow sail. I realized the guide did not update on any safety measures while at sea. I was uneasy about this and inquired, however we had already set out to sail by 9.20am. The initial leg of the journey to Kisite-mpunguti- Marine national Park was smooth and we saw dolphins swim along the boat. We arrived at the park after about 1hr30mins. The boat was anchored and some tourists went off for snorkeling and swimming to see the marine fish. Many other visitors and myself enjoyed the view from the boat . The anchor- stop at marine park was to take 45 mins then leave for the island before high tide. However snorkeling took too long, the boat crew could not get the tourists all together in time to leave for the island as planned. By the time all visitors were back on board it was already high tide and the sea waves were getting rough. I felt so happy after reaching Kisite island because I was planning to visit the place couple of times but I failed.

In November, I visited Msa for business, I was met at the airport by a very very polite and patient agent. First he sent me a text on the eve of my travel to let me know he was expecting me. He was on time, exceptional service. The music in the car was decent and right volume, the car was clean (I am very particular) in and out. What was even more pleasurable was he called after my departure to ask about my experience. I highly recommend GA to anyone looking for a nice experience while at the coast. Rachel

Bad service, when the office tells you will get back to you to confirm if a car is available and they don't call you back and you send a message asking if you should wait for their response or not and they don't even respond to you, is a Big NO for me
