I was very disappointed in this place. I’m actually appalled at the positive reviews on here (which was a big factor in our decision to book the place), and it makes me question the authenticity of some of these reviews. So here goes my honest and unbiased review: - The bathrooms were so despicable that I avoided it like a plague. The tap water was brown and the toilet bowl water was brown as well. When we complained, we were told it’s how “Lekki water is”. We used tap water to brush our teeth during our stay there. The walk in shower was subpar and there were cracks and stains on the walls. The toilet bowl had permanent brown stains in it. It’s obvious this place isn’t being maintained properly. When we complained to the front desk, we were told the cleaning guys that did the initial cleaning weren’t efficient and they would send their “A-team” cleaners to come clean it again. Even with the “power cleaning” that was done, the stains were still there - The water pressure was extremely low. There were times we would be taking a bath and right in the middle of things, the water would shut off completely. Imagine being in the shower with soap all over your body and the water just shuts off!!! There were times there was no water at all and we had to wait for them to fix the issue; which delayed a lot of our outings and events - Please do not rely on the pictures and videos posted by George residence on their social media pages as the deciding factor in whether you should stay here or not. Those pictures are extremely misleading! I remember reviewing all these videos and looking forward to my stay here. Posting all these celebrities taking pictures at their place is really nothing but them trying to attract people to book. In my opinion, the space should speak for itself and they need to take the right and appropriate actions to make their guests feel comfortable and feel like they are in luxury. - The kitchen was ok but the trash can was old, rusty and practically falling apart. The pots were old and rusty. The towels we were given have been so overused that their pure white color had changed to a light brown color even in its cleanest form. How much does it cost to replace the towels periodically? It’s the little attention to detail that makes all the difference. - The only good thing I can say about this place is that customer service was great. The staff at the front desk were polite and they were quick to address any issues that came up. - Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This place is poorly maintained and the money spent here just wasn’t worth it.

I had a horrific experience at George Residence, and I wouldn't advise any of my friends to visit. The property is in a nice location but the management provides poor service. Unprofessional staff. This is a short-let apartment, but they are baffled about how to manage it. It's less expensive to lodge in a four-star hotel than to lodge at George Residence. If I had taken the negative review I read here seriously, I wouldn't have had that unsatisfactory and awful experience. Victoria the front desk manager is so unprofessional. She doesn't deserve to be a manager. With the professionalism, they can't differentiate between managing a shortlet apartment and hotel. No functioning gym and swimming pool.

I stay at the George pretty often . If you want a place that feels like home this is the place for you. Comfortable bedroom and kitchen so that you can prepare or reheat your own meals. The place is very secure the security makes sure they screen anyone before allowing them in. All the staff are professional and go above and beyond to make sure that I’m pleased . The receptionist are always pleasant even after working long hours they make sure to maintain excellent customer service.

I didn't get the chance to stay here, like sleep over. However, it's amazing. The topmost penthouse unit is brilliant, furniture and it's styling very modern, i did see a fully equipped kitchen, a CINEMA room with a projector lol. Beautiful sit out balcony with a great view, UPBEAT at the other side and across it is the water. Living area is spacious with a big screen TV. Only a 4-star because i didn't sleep over but it definitely is a great place. I'm sure it's not cheap either, but yh... You shouldn't be looking here if you are 'on a budget' anyways. Cheers.

I stayed here for a friend's birthday. We had an entire apartment and private cinema to ourselves. The only disappointment was the length of time it took for our food orders to arrive, but that is understandable given that it was a holiday weekend. Otherwise, great location, good ambience, very cozy, and good service from the front desk. I highly recommend.

In a country where customer service rarely exists, George Residence outdid themselves when it comes to customer experience. All the staffs were polite, helpful and friendly. With the perfect ambience, it truly is home away from home. It was one of the few places my daughter was comfortable in during our stay in the country.

Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. I stayed from June 28th to July 5th. From the friendly security guard to the extremely helpful Porter and lovely ladies at the reception. The hotel itself is lavishly decorated. Beautiful art work and flooring. Impeccable in every way.

Used to be a standard block of apartments, but converted it seems, to short lets. The conversion looks like a total success. Tastefully finished with upmarket materials, and a modern layout. The reception area is very well done, and the staff extremely polite. Shouldn't have any trouble with customers.

Used the place for a TV shoot. Staff was very accommodating and provided all the service required. Rooms, nice. Food, not bad and not cheap but privacy seem guaranteed and there was no lights out!
