Extraordinary service, wonderful vet (and team!). He is not rushing through the appointment, he takes all the time to thoroughly examine your pet, he answers all your questions and is explaining all findings in detail so that you are able to take appropriate decisions. Touching detail: during the whole exam he is so focused on your animal as if he is trying to make a connection. You automatically step back and let the both do their thing because they will figure out together what's wrong - you are not needed ;-) After a visit you are less stressed and worry less, because you will know what's up with your beloved pet, and that it will get the best help there is. Dr. Gilmour is the best! I was referred to him almost 20 years ago by the SPCA. He is the one veterinarian that I can say sincerely cares about the animals well being first, and doesn't treat the care he gives as a business transaction. He was the only veterinarian that took in and saved a stray dog I found that was sick when the DMV emergency clinic refused to care for him after they gouged me out of $900 for intravenous liquid only to keep him alive. I recommend Dr.Gilmour to all my friends and they always thank me and are so happy to have been introduced to him. Thank you Dr.Gilmour you are not only a great veterinarian but also a great person!

Unbelievable veterinary services!! These days it seems like veterinarians are more focused on the bill than your pet... not Doctor Gilmour! My dog was attacked and required extensive care Dr Gilmour was there through the entire ordeal. He and his team always took the time required and gave clear instructions and didn’t shock me with a ridiculous fee! Started visiting Dr. Gilmour in November, his care and compassion for cats is remarkable. My cat had a serious medical emergency in January and he saw us the morning we called despite already having clients lined up. We had to put him down, but he patiently waited while my children and their mother arrived to say goodbye to the animal. Recently, my other cat developed a serious abscess due to a bite from my newest cat. He saw her the same day, within hours, and took excellent care of her. My dog went to several vets before finding Dr. Gilmour. Unfortunately, my fur baby has chronic ear infections. Dr. Gilmour was the only doctor that was able to prescribe medications that worked for my dog. His very humble and will not charge you a crazy amount, especially if you have to bring your pet a few times a year. I'd also like to mention that his staff are very friendly and will reply to your inquiries as soon as they can!

Dr Gilmour is an honest vet. Very knowledgeable and will not over-vaccinate, upsell your appointment ovee medicate your dog. My dog has bilious vomitting and instead of ordering ultrasounds and specialists to test him, he recommend I switch up how I feed him. And it worked. I appreciate that honesty. Great service, he will remain as our primary and only vet for my dog's care.

Dr. Gilmour is hands down the most compassionate, caring, and "real" Veterinarian I've every had the pleasure of meeting; him and his team are the absolutely best of the best. I have been going to Allan him for years now with my two cats and a dog. He’s come to my home twice and we put down two of my pets over the last couple of years. I can’t say enough about this man and his empathy and compassion. for such an emotional experience for me, he’s always calm and understanding, and my pet received so much love from him.
