"I purchased simit/ gevrek on two occasions from Gima"
"Customers check receipts you can get overcharged we got charged extra $10 we had to take the groceries for them to check waste our time they did give the money but this didn’t happen once"
The supermarket service and products are good . The meat is fresh, also the bread products. But as soon as I walk to the car park, that's where Gima earns the 2 stars. Clean up your premises Gima this reflects onto your business! Grubby premises will discourage customers! You should know better! !!! Manager of Gima take NOTE!
This is the last time we will be shopping at Gima. On so many occasions, the food we bought from there turned out mouldy. 2 days ago we bought 2 lots of pastry, and both of them had mould all over it, even though the used by date is 1 year away. How to you store your food Gima?!!!
Loved their own brand of sucuk. Aisles narrow, girl at counter occupied by friends visit, almost felt like so was to busy to serve me. Large range of Turkish produce. We be back there despite the service because I loved the şucuk. The rest of staff inside him a very professional.
I purchased simit/ gevrek on two occasions from Gima. It was dry and tasteless on both occasions. I am Turkish and know what simit tastes like. Gima’s simit does not taste like simit at all. Not sure where they get their simit from but they need to change their supplier.
Customers check receipts you can get overcharged we got charged extra $10 we had to take the groceries for them to check waste our time they did give the money but this didn’t happen once. Do l always have to check my receipt you guys should train your staff.
Sadly I had to give 1 star but they do NOT even deserve that 1 star! I do not know how to start; better should start with their website which seems to be the only option where they have managed to sell items online but if you try to contact
They sold bad walnuts for a discount without any signage explaining that they’re rotten. I had to throw them all out and then naively came back to get some full-priced walnuts. They were also bad - the oil inside was clearly rancid and they
9.00am this morning, get to the gate and the ticket machine isn't working. I press the assistance button and wait, no response. Press the assistance button again and wait. Still no response. I call the store and the phone rings out. I call
I just made an order for a friend who lives 30km from me and it was the easiest and best experiences I ever had. The website easy to navigate, prices are great and I even received a phone call to notify me of some items out of stock (fresh
I have been living in auburn for over 30 years. I have shopped and still shopping in all of our Turkish shops. Gima is a one stop shop. Gima is s clean shop with a smile in everyones face. You can nearly find everything you want. Fruit and
The best olives and cheese at the best prices, but a couple of times I have seen staff in the butcher with hair out and keep pushing it out of the way behind the ears. I think it's best to tie hair up or wear a hair net/hat when handling
They usually sell products that are out of date, absolutely ridiculous with the quality. I'm not even complaining about the smell and atmosphere here, it probably makes people feel depressive and the hygiene is nowhere to be found near
Great shop to buy turkish products, i have always found what i need, theres a butcher and also a fresh antipasto deli counter, staff are pleasant and very helpful. If you park in there parking and shop instore you can get the ticket
A charming Turkish supermarket in a gorgeous Art Deco building. Lots of Turkish goodies to tempt you. The dairy, small goods and butcher offer authentic Turkish delicacies. I especially love the simit at the entry of Gima.
Exceptional service, great communication and on time delivery is what I recieved along with my shopping from Gima supermarket! Well done for making online shopping experience very easy! You are the to go shop forever!
Has almost everything we needed, except for one specific type of drink we were looking for. Store seems to be very busy & so it gets packed easily, even with COVID19 it'll be very hard to socially distance.
I visited the shop today, i was looking for Middle Eastern frozen food that I could just put in the oven and eat. I found alot of good food such as ready Kebab, kebah, mini pizza...etc. I highly recommend.
I was looking for the Turkish products and here they are. Gima has got most of the Turkish chocolates that I love. They also bring traditional Turkish drinks. Very happy that I found this supermarket.
Great variety of products, awesome fresh veggies that taste like real veggies, not like coleswoorth. Fresh meat, cheeses, nuts olives and sweets of various types. Worth driving from the inner city.
A good Turkish supermarket in Sydney. If u are after authentic Turkish food, Gina is one of few options. The prices are reasonable and the food is always fresh. It also has Australian products.
On 5Dec 2021 I called and asked for yufka pastry n said last year i bought each box for $65 n I want to order 4 more boxes. Some guy talked to me blame me to be a LIAR while I told the truth.
Love to shop at Gima for my turkish groceries like sucuk, turkish coffee and tea, copper pot for coffee, grill olives and they even hve butcher shop at the end of the shop. Love this shop.
Whenever I’m near Auburn I always make sure to drop into Gima supermarket. They always have fresh breads and lots of imported Turkish foods! Be sure to check them out if! Highly recommend
Nice turkish shop, convenient, clean and tidy, prices bit expensive, meat can be cut according to our choice, meat is fresh, expensive though, they have their own carpark which is a bonus
For all things Turkish or middle Eastern produce and spices- cinnamon , mountain tea, cloves etc. A nice variety of delicious jams and Turkish Delights. I love visiting this place.
I love this market it has everything you need alot of continental food lots of things from Turkey the sucuk is really delicious the meat from there is really good …
I bought walnuts they were mouldy they refunded money back Just recently I bought hazelnuts walnuts chick peas and they all were stale some of them were close to expired date.
Great place. Visit here every time I'm nearby for a lot of food items you just can't find outside of Sydney like sujuk, baklava and good Turkish coffee.
All the staff are friendly and helpful. The variety of products are great! Everything from delicatessen items to groceries and fruit & veg. Very handy!
Great variety of foods and selection of Turkish goods. Prices are reasonable compared to similar stores around Auburn. Free parking is a plus.
3000 plastic bag cost $0.001 per bag, i spend more than $100.00 and charged extra $0.05 for plastic bag. No more shopping dear owner.
Great Turkish food at affordable prices. Plenty of parking. fresh Turkish bread. Courteous staff members. Wheelchair accessible too.
Good variety of goods, great butcher. Service at the butcher is warm and friendly. They also sell a good range of baking trays.
Can be a bit pricy sometimes but always consistent with their stocks. My go to Turkish shop for the last 15 years and counting.
Turkish market, you can find all Turkish products. Moreover, they sell halal meat. Employees are very kind and helpful.
A very nice Turkish, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food related product with reasonable prices in Auburn.
Very good arguably the best and most well known Turkish supermarket in all of Sydney very good meat too
The Gima parking is so big anytime you can find a place & some Grassroots cheaper than Other shops.
Turkish gourmet products are available here at reasonable prices and fresh produce also available.
One, stop shopping for Turkish ingredients. Bring a big shopping bag. A must!!!
Good for necessities like groceries, but keep in mind to bring your own bags.
Love a quick duck in here to satisfy my Türkiye grocery shopping craving.
