Was excited to try this place during my visit based on the reviews but did not enjoy this bakery whatsoever. We tried 3 of the sfogliatelle flavors, all of them sucked and were dry and hard. Coffee was the worst we had in our 2 weeks in Italy. Only the Cannoli were good got classic and pistachio but worst part was being taken advantage of here. 6 mini sfogliatelle 2 regular cannoli and 4 cappuccino is 46euro? When I questioned the price grumpy older man waved me away. Not sure if they just dump off their old stuff to the tourists and charge whatever they want but this was the only place in a 15 day trip that I hated. Be nice to tourists they put money in your pocket and boost your local economy. Gino, yes we are a couple but that has nothing to do with situation. Statement is true. 46 is the amount you charged for what we ordered. Double what it should have been by you're own admission in the response. So you report negative reviews that call you out for scaming people? Why would I go out of my way way to make false accusation against you? I am simply pointing out you made a terrible error or you are a scam. Better I report to my bank credit card of your dishonesty

I am so suprised reading the negative reviews… we were there yesterday(august 2023) and I can only vouch for cannoli and sfogliatelle, thats what we ordered, but those were AMAZING. I usually am hesitant when I see pre-filled cannolis. In my opinion they should be freshly filled in front of the customer, so I was bit sceptical BUT! these were GREAT anyways. The shell didn’t get soggy or anything, it was crunchy as it would be freshly filled in front of me. Sfogliatelle’s every layer crunchier than the previous one,as it should be excatly, amazing texture of the dough. The older gentleman serving us was very nice and friendly. The only thing I would critize is, that we got all three versions of cannoli-classic sicilian, nutella and pistacchio.- all three were great BUT the pistacchio one was very very simular to the classic one, not much of pistacchio flavour for me, so I would suggest that you order either one of them, don´t need to do the both, pick something different to try :)(but both taste great :) ). Highly recommend this place

Parola d’ordine: CANNOLI! Gino prepara cannoli così buoni e così incredibilmente leggeri che mangiarne un paio non sarà difficile! Noi abbiamo provato quello RICOTTA E CIOCCOLATO e ovviamente RICOTTA E PISTACCHIO. Dovete assaggiare anche i CANTUCCINI ARTIGIANALI (che si possono confezionare al momento e gustare a casa). Saporita pure la pizza in teglia uscita calda calda dal forno Posticino accogliente, proprietari gentilissimi e cordiali! Prodotti davvero deliziosi per una colazione (ma anche brunch) all’insegna della SICILIANITÀ. Si trova appena dopo il Ponte Vecchio, quindi facilissimo da raggiungere. Un cannolo va assaggiato suvvia. Nelle foto in ordine troverete: • cannolo ricotta e cioccolato (3€) • cannolo ricotta e pistacchio (3,5€) • piccolo dito alla crema al limone • cantuccino al cioccolato e cantuccino al pistacchio (3€ all’etto) • pizza in teglia

This is known as the one of the best bakeries here in Florence. But I think this place is overrated because of the low quality and high price of its products. I ordered a cup of hot milk (€2) and a pistachio-flavoured ozagostime (€1.5). Both were a huge letdown. The milk was boiling hot and it was impossible to drink it without cooling it down for quite a while. They used disposable polystyrene cup which is not environmentally-friendly at all. A good cup of milk should have a slightly-higher temperature than the room temperature, and should have a lot of foams inside. Yet this place fails to reach the minimum standard. The ozgostime supposed to have the flavour of pistachio, yet to me it’s just a mesh of sweet green-coloured substance, with absolutely no flavour or a single hint of pistachio.

Overall, a great experience! Staff were nice as we tried to decide which items to get – there are many delicious-looking pastries in the window displays. We got both the pistachio and siciliano cannolis, which are their two most popular flavors. The siciliano was too sweet for me, but the pistachio was better (my friend, who doesn’t like pistachios, even agreed that it was surprisingly decent). There’s no seating at the store, but it’s a short walk across the Ponte Vecchio and you can sit on the railing by the river! -1 star only because this was the first cannoli I’ve ever tried, and realized that I don’t like cannolis very much as a whole. The store was certainly popular and well-loved by other patrons. If you *do* like cannolis, this seems like a great place to stop by!

Best cannoli and coffee in Florence! My wife and I visited a few days ago and Gino had THE BEST proper cannoli and his café and café latté were legit (Espresso and Latte). Plus, Gino was super nice. He warmed up our aragostine (lobster tail sfoglia pastry) which was delicious and had the best amaretto filling! We talked in my not fluent Italian and his broken english and it really made me feel like I was talking my nonni! My wife and I will be back next time we are in Florence!! The best part? He’s not even near tourist stuff and not too far if you’re sightseeing so make sure you visit him for a true authentic experience and price. Grazie Gino!

We stopped at Gino's on multiple days to sample the best sfogiatelle, cannoli's and cookies as we explored Florence. Completely a treat. A great location to pick up snacks on your way to Boboli Gardens, Bardini Gardens, Piazzale Michelangelo or back to the historic city center. The sfogiatelle are magnificent crunchy, pastries with bits of citrus like sunshine beaming from your soul. Mama Mia - have one of the napolitan variety. The service is warm and friendly.

Gino’s bakery is a little bakery right on the Ponte Vecchio bridge and it is an absolute must try if you are in Florence and want to try some real treats like cannoli and tiramisu. Do not walk into any random store and grab these along with gelato because you will be disappointed. There are some really poorly rated stores all around this area so always check the reviews. The tiramisu, the pistachio cannoli and both the orange and lemon slushees were out of this world, so damn good, probably the best I have ever had. They sell out fast so if you want the tiramisu, go there early.

Si vous êtes de passage à Florence, je ne peux que vous recommander cette boulangerie! Le propriétaire est vraiment très gentil et accueillant. C'est une petite boulangerie qui propose toutes sortes de spécialités italiennes (sucrées et salées). Cela a été une très belle découverte pour ma part. J'ai pu goûter des viennoiseries italiennes que je n'avait encore jamais vu! Le propriétaire parle bien l'anglais et comprends quelques mots de français. Cet endroit mérite bien selon moi cinq étoiles! :D Si l'occasion se représente, je retournerai dans cette boulangerie.

They have the best svogliatelle pastry I have ever had in my whole life! I grew up on these, they have been my favorite pastry and I have to say that the pastry was super crunchy and fresh, the custard was a perfect consistency with a nice balance with the citron. I have been used to pulling out chunks of it, not at Gino’s! They have more restraint and the citron does not overwhelm the custard, it accentuates it nicely. I also tried the arancini which was very tasty and a pistachio cookie resembling a biscotti which was amazing! Must try, I highly recommend.

Love this shop - Gino himself runs it most days and he's great! All of his products are homemade and high quality, and it's great to support a local craft. Especially recommend the cantucci/biscotti, the ditos and the absolute best cannoli ever! Highly recommend.

Gino is very friendly! Pleasant to stop after the Ponte Vecchio to get involved with the sympathy and good humor of the owner. Certainly the best cannoli and pastries in the area. Try also pizza! No puedo decir nada malo de la comida, pues el producto estaba bueno. Wow the best pistachio cannolis I’ve had I had to get 3. We also tried the paninis Ad was delicious. The owners here are the sweetest and welcoming. It feels really good when you find Amazing bakery’s and excellent service. I’m visiting and was so happy to come across a gem! Wonderful little bakery on the other side of the Ponte Vecchio! The workers were so nice and very helpful in deciding what pastries to try. With so many great options to choose from, we decided to try the Sicilian Cannoli, which ended up being the BEST cannoli I've had yet here in Florence. Would definitely recommend this bakery to everyone and cannot wait to go back to try more of their wonderful food and pastries!

Oh man!! Cannoli's are fantastic. Already been back twice. Forgot to share photos both times. Too good to stop and snap photos. ; ) We ordered two but there was only one left. So...he made us two more. Super nice staff. Ok...last time... I shouldn't go back again. Tried the pistachio. Amazingly good but forgot the photo again, but here is the regular. BEST cannoli I’ve ever had. Go here for what must be the best cannoli in Italy and there is an assortment of other baked goods that I’m sure are great as well. I returned and bought 7 cannolis before I left and my mom got other pastries. The man who I believe was the owner gave me a couple dollars off and a free biscotti to try. Thank you and if I’m ever able to return to Florence, this will be on my list!

The owner met us and explained what everything was. He is such a pleasant man who helped us feel comfortable providing us with his hospitality. All of the food is made in there. And it's amazing. So delicious! I ate 5 croissants alone and couldn't stop. Prices are so much cheaper than other places. Next time I visit Florence I know where I'm stopping by first thing in the morning!

I passed by Gino’s bakery everyday during my stay here and I would walk away with some treats from this cute little stall without fail; savoury or sweet. Both are great and reasonably priced. The owner of the stall is really friendly and hardworking, he does the opening before 9am and closes at 10+pm. If you are around the area, do drop by.

Loved the baked goods and service, the cappuccino was great too! Everything is made in house and the owner was extremely friendly. We liked the croissants so much we are going to go back there tonight. Will definitely be a place we go to every time we visit Florence. I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast if you get a chance.

We passed by and we were immediately captivated by the cannoli on display!! I checked and I happened to had this on my list, so we decided to order one cannolo to take away. They recommended the pistachio one and was probably the best choice. So so delicious. Everything else looked good, but I would day cannoli are a must!!

Went there after reading so many great reviews however the taste was a disappointment.The tiramisu was stale and tasteless...had better tasting tiramisu from the esselunga store!! The Sfogliatella pasty was crunchy with good filling but reeked of old oil and it gave a really bad taste. Another Overhyped place in Florence!

Sooooo Italian! This bakery is owned by a family and we loved to see how they were working together. We ordered 1 piece of almost everything and we didn't regret this decision. Llegamos por casualidad buscando postres italianos, se encuentra cruzando el ponte vechio, compramos unos canolis y un tiramizu y realmente estuvieron muy ricos, la crema del canoli era riquísima y el tiramizu muy suave. Por € 3.5(canoli) y €5(tiramizu), el precio lo vale en verdad. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Ordered a cannolo Siciliana which was tasty, but was charged 7 euro when the sign in the shop window only said 3.50 Unfortunately, I didn't notice until after the transaction had gone through and I was no longer in the store. Would highly recdomed double checkng what they are charging you if paying by card.

If you have heard about cannoli, I strongly advise you to try it here. The most delicious cannoli you can taste here, I advise you to go with the classic one .

It’s one of the authentic Italian bakeries. You can really taste Canolli’s and other bakeries which are very delicious. When you eat there, you just to get more and more. The owners are very friendly and so kind and you want to spend the day talking with them. It’s worth to visit and eat.

We did not enjoy the pastries. The coffee was the worst coffee we've had in Italy. They are over priced and we felt scammed. A few small pastries and 3 coffees came out to 45 Euros. We've spent 45 Euros in other restaurants/bakeries and our table is full of food.

Petite découverte du matin, des pâtisseries bien plaisante et rafraîchissante par leur côté crémeux. Elles sont un poil trop sucrée à mon goût, mais l'on sent par l acceuil, la présentation et le goût que tout est préparé sur place. Une magnifique découverte.

Fun bakery with an express window right on the sidewalk. I didn’t love the pistachio cannoli and will get the classicflavor the next time we go. There’s also cheap coffee and it was a nice old couple working the storefront.

We had amazing pastries from here. We bought far too much, but ate them anyway, they were that good! The best were the canolli, sfogliatella, pasta di mandorla and dite sfoglia. Do yourself a favour and visit Gino. Yum.

Ho preso da portare a casa 2 cannoli per fare colazione. Uno era il classico cannolo siciliano, l'altro era una rivisitazione con la Nutella. Entrambi sono risultati ottimi e abbastanza economici (3 euro l'uno)

Possibly the most disappointing tiramisu I have ever had (and I’ve had my husbands who is not a baker). It was also so tiny, I couldn’t even make it last for 2 bites. We did get a cannoli & that was quite good.

Took a couple of the heavenly sweets up to watching the sunset and I loved every bite! I wasn't quite sure if I will like the pistachio one, but it was amazing! I will probably stop by again before I leave :)

By far the best cannoli and pastries we had in our 2 week stay in Italy. The owner (I assume) was very kind and entertaining, giving us free samples and telling us about the different flavors. Very good!
