Absolutely terrible. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to ever go. Sent the below complaint and never received a reply. If I could have given it 0 stars, I would have!!! Hello Shania, As you are aware, my sister and I came into your salon yesterday for a hair colouring and cut. Before we left your salon I explained that my sister and I were not happy with the service we received from your staff and the outcome of the colouring and cut. Having had time to reflect on our experience, I wanted to set out all the issues that upset us in the hope that you would look to resolve this matter. * I asked for us both to be booked in for 12pm (and we arrived at the appointment at 11.40am) so we could have your salon experience at the same time however my sister had to wait 1.5 hours before she was even seen to. *the available hair stylist made attempts to serve other customers who came in much later than my sister. She had to be reminded by other staff that my sister was waiting first. * the service was started and then interrupted by asking for us to pay, making it very awkward and uncomfortable for both of us. * the price we were quoted for the service was £20 more than we expected and required us to contact you to confirm the actual price. A customer should not have to check the price with the owner. We didn’t ask for any discounts or special treatment. * My sister had 3 hair stylists working on her during the treatment, which created a disjointed, interrupted experience, not the seamless professional treatment we had come to expect, and that we paid for. * Our hair didn’t turn out anywhere near what we asked - we understand everyone’s hair is different and the outcome will not always be as that of a picture. However, some similarity is expected or we should be advised if this is not possible. This was not communicated to us at all. * We received negative comments from your staff, for example I asked for shorter hair - your staff member responded “oh no no, that’s too short for this hair colour”, making me think, are we cutting mine or her hair!? Also, while drying my hair she said she was hot and sweaty, not very pleasant to know I complained at the time but no gesture of goodwill was offered to make up for the poor service. I also spoke to you directly hoping you would understand from a customer perspective. Your staff member agreed that you were understaffed for the day and shouldn’t have taken on as many clients as you did causing this unpleasant time for my sister and I. I’ve been coming for many years and have recommended many friends and family to go to your salon which they have. However, as I mentioned to you yesterday, I would not come back, due to the extreme discomfort and unsatisfactory service we received, especially my sister’s experience. Having been usually pleased with your service, if you are willing to provide us a 50% refund each on what we paid, I would happy to consider this matter resolved and continue to use your salon in future. If you are unable to agree to this refund, then you will have lost a long-standing customer. Additionally, I would have no hesitation in sharing my experience yesterday at your salon and my attempts to resolve this matter with others. I hope you understand and look forward to your response.

DO NOT GO HERE!! At first I made a booking on Treatwell. They rang me the next day saying they'll cancel it and I can come in the following day and pay in cash. When I got there they charged me £160 in cash for a balayage as soon as I arrived as the hairdresser misheard me and did a full head colour instead which should have been £75 (this is how much the original Treatwell booking is). This was after a lot of back and forth with the hairdresser as she was struggling to understand me. I asked several times for them to bleach my hair and leave the roots alone as I wanted half a cm of roots and my skin is sensitive to bleach. The manager came over and asked to clear this up. I said just bleach all of my hair, but I want the roots left alone. The hairdresser was so messy with the bleach. She did the mid-length and ends first but then started to paint my head with bleach and ignored my request to leave the roots. She got it all over my scalp and caused me irritation on my head. This wasn't too bad but my scalp was really hurting. Then she applied toner and was scrubbing it into my scalp and it was so painful it felt like she'd poured acid onto my head. I was nearly crying it was that bad and I had to back out. I asked her wash it out and she ignored me so I had to beg her to do it. She eventually did. It was so painful. At the end, they REFUSED to provide a receipt as I thought the price was wrong that I paid at the start. When I tried to message them on Facebook to resolve amicably they ignored my message, then responded a day later and told me to ring. There are other reviews on here that are similar in that the hairdresser didn't listen to them or do a proper consultation. The burn on my head is still there 3 says later and I am needing medical treatment on it. I rang the salon who originally denied my existence. I said there was no official appointment as they cancelled it and made me come in the following day as a walk in appointment. They said they didn't know who I was and made me out to be a liar. They rang me back asking if I was the person who had the cancelled appointment. I said yes. The person at the end said I can't ring them days after the appointment if I had a bad experience. I explained that the burn on my head got worse over the weekend. They ignored my original Facebook message which I sent to them as soon as I'd got home. They kept telling me it was my fault for not telling them while I was at the salon and there was nothing they could do. I said I had explained several times what I wanted, and the hairdresser ignored me. What more do they want? They were very argumentative, kept talking over me, had no empathy whatsoever and refused to take any responsibility. Dodgiest Salon I've ever been in and it was the worse salon experience I've ever had. Save your money and go somewhere else :)

My experience at Glam Master wasn't absolutely terrible, but I can't say I'd go back. I wanted a wash blow dry and restyle and had a pretty clear idea about what I wanted (a long bob with a side parting and a sweeping fringe) and I guess I was also hoping for a little consultation with my stylist. Unfortunately, there didn't really seem to be a lot of understanding between the stylist and I, which was obviously a little anxiety provoking, especially as this was the first time I'd ever gone for "short" hair. The consequence of this is that I spent pretty much the whole appointment terrified something would go horribly wrong. At one point I think perhaps the manager saw my stylist was struggling and came to the rescue and talked to me a bit so that helped us make some progress at least, she seemed a lot more knowledgable and communicative. The result is that I got a long bob I was fairly happy with, but no side parting (even though I asked my side parting about it three times during the appointment at various stages) and no fringe. I said I was happy at the end because I'd asked so many times for what I wanted I was worried to sit back in the chair and then end up with something I hated, as it is what I have is ok but ultimately I'm going to have to go back and pay for another salon to give me what I want. This is a side issue as well but there was no "chat" with my stylist at all, I do accept that's not what I'm paying for, but still, some small talk is always nice I find. I will say that the salon itself was very pleasant to sit in and the appointment was fairly cheap (£25 for a wash cut and blow dry). My advice would be that if you just want a quick blow dry and trim then this place it alright, but I wouldn't go there for anything more complicated than that.

I don’t normally post reviews but I had to for this salon as it’s definitely the worst salon I have ever visited. I booked this salon based on the reviews I read so was expecting a positive experience. When I went in for my patch test I was told they didn’t have the booking but they did the test anyway. The manager booked me in. On arrival I was asked by the manager what treatments I wanted then told the price which was way higher than that quoted on the website and treatwell! I challenged this and she slightly reduced the price but it was still much more than advertised. I was then told I had to pay cash in advance of the treatments. Not sure why as the website states card payment only. I had my hair coloured and cut but the grey hair was still grey! I was fobbed off by being told it was because I chose the slightly light shade of brown. I told the stylist she shouldn’t have recommended it knowing hiding the greys was main purpose of having it coloured but she didn’t understand as English isn’t her first language. I complained to manager who then said I’d have to have it coloured again. Another hour wasted. My waxing was done by a lovely lady ago had just started but not waxed in years. She wasn't able use the hot wax I had requested so used strip wax with difficult too and peeped off a lot of skin leaving me in pain. The eyebrow threading booked consisted of plucking a few hairs. I was totally fed up at this stage. I only went ahead with the manicure as I had already paid for it. And it was AWFUL. My cuticles were worse than before and nails just filed down. I couldn’t leave fast enough. This place should be avoided. I am tempted to report this to trading standards. I would love to give this 0 stars.

Firstly, I wasn’t going to leave a bad review as I thought I would message you to resolve this however you ignored my message and blocked me. I went for a balayage I wanted it as blonde as I could possibly go I showed them a picture and I explained that I understand if I can’t get it as blonde as I want due to my hair being dark brown. The process was very unprofessional whilst doing my highlight the hairdressers was staining other parts of my hair and she wiped this off with a paper tissue numerous times.. I also came home with bleach all over my clothes. Halfway between the process of the highlights she checks the bottom one and it’s gone a bright yellow/orangey colour she then took me to the sink and washed that part of whilst my highlights were still processing then took me back to the chair and began the root touch up. I felt like it was a very messy process I didn’t know what was going on what products were used on my hair. Certainly no opalex or anything like that which you would expect paying. £180 for balayage THAT HAS NOW WASHED OUT OF MY HAIR NOT EVEN TWO WEEKS LATER AND IVE WASHED MY HAIR 2-3 TIME SINCE. I didn’t want to make a fuss in the salon as I appreciated the hours spent on my hair and didn’t want to make things uncomfortable and the hairdresser did mention that it would lighten up after a few washes not actually wash out???.I didn’t get what I asked for and it certainly isn’t worth the money. Are your hairdresser even qualified?? I’ve demanded a refund but I’ve now been blocked so I will be taking this further.

I went to this salon today… it was my worst experience ever… first of the price was too high… they have no sense how to deal with customers… they have good settings, decorations and all.. but the service is terrible, horrible… i went for manicure and pedicure and i paid £45 for it… in the pedicure there was no shapping of nails or cleaning…. It seemed like they are only washing my foots… manicure - they only cut my nails, and that even in the worst shape… HELLL… I can do them better myself… i paid £45 for washing the foots and cutting nails.. and that even not properly… all fingers nails shaping is different… the gel which they applied.. TO WHAT THEY CALL GEL, which is not completely what they applied was not even dry and they applied nail oil.. i asked for gel and friend didn’t want gel she just wanted simple manicure… still she was charged £45 for just washing the foots and cutting nails….. UFF THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE… HORRIBLE….. EVEN BELOW -10 STARS….. PLEASE DO SOME PROPER COURSE… WITH THIS SERVICE I DONT THINK YOU CAN RUN THE BUSSINESS…… ITS A REQUEST…. DONT JUST TAKE MONEY…. BUT ALSO DO THE JOB… they really need to justify for the money they are taking from the customer….

I recently visited Glam Master Salon and I cannot express how amazing my experience was. From the moment I stepped into the salon, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was extremely friendly. I came in with my mom, aunties and cousin and we all got our hair and makeup done for a special occasion. Shahla and Shania were our stylists and they were absolutely amazing!! They took so much care and time to make sure that our looks were perfect. We showed them pictures of the styles we wanted and they executed them flawlessly. They were also very attentive to our needs and made sure that we were comfortable throughout the entire process. When we were finished, we all looked absolutely stunning!! I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup and I felt like a million bucks!! The attention to detail and level of skill that Shahla and Shania possessed was truly impressive. Overall, I cannot recommend Glam Master Salon enough. Their staff is highly skilled, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the results are nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Shahla and Shania, for making our day so special!!!

I've already left a review on for this salon, but somehow was removed. I'll leave it again! I GIVE IT A 0 STAR! My daughter and I went into this salon to get a fringe cut for her. As soon as we walked in we were met by this lady sitting at the nail table. I told her what we required. She then said the hairdresser isn't here now but I don't think she can do your daughter's type of hair it's too curly. At the moment I was shocked, not that there's anything wrong with curls only because my daughter's type of hair is 2c a mix of waves and slight curls. Her was tied up in a bun and she didn't even look at it, only looked at our skin colour and how much darker it was than hers. What she meant was we don't do your type of people with your skin tone since my daughter's skin tone is dark. Basically we're not Asian, white, or Arab. She said her hair can be done by another hairdresser (a black one). That lady left us feeling uncomfortable. What a disgraceful person. Should be ashamed of yourself.

Fraudsters. I booked for a Keratin Blow dry. The price on the website says £70 for short hair. When I came to the salon the lady who identified herself as Shan said it was an incorrect price on the website, it was the owners responsibility and keratin treatment for short hair was £120. I had a 12'0 clock appointment but I was asked to wait while the hairdresser washed her coloured hair and dressed it. After about 20 minutes she came to me with the hair dressers gown to take to my chair and then unexpectedly announced that I HAD TO PAY IN FULL BY CASH BEFORE SHE CAN DO MY TREATMENT. I was beyond shocked and obviously returned without the treatment. I wonder if these women are cheating their owner so that there is no trace of treatment...but why take the cash beforehand. There are some good reviews about the place and hence I booked it in the first place, not sure if they are genuine reviews or the deception more recent. Needs investigation!!

I had a haircut at Glam Master yesterday evening and I must say it is the worst haircut I’ve ever had, it’s not what I asked for. It is so uneven and badly cut. As a professional, it is not suitable for me to have such a bad haircut and it has ruined my confidence. I have now booked elsewhere to (try) and get it fixed. I had booked in with the senior stylist, but it was someone else who cut my hair. I am very disappointed with my haircut. I asked for a small trim with one long layer to lighten up my hair. My hair is longer on one side, short layered at the back and unevenly cut at the side. I have had to buy extensions and install them for a very important meeting I had today.

Overpriced place and would not recommend for a haircut. I went to get a trim done and cut my edges. The hairdresser had no idea what she was doing because I could not communicate with her well as her English was very bad. She cut my hair shorter than I wanted which was disappointing considering it was £20 + cash which was inconvenient for me. Additionally, the service was a cut and blow but she just drenched my hair with water, cut it terribly and did not bother properly blowing out my hair. Left it frizzy, messy and wet! Such a lousy job. Not worth the money. I regret ever going there. Don’t make the same mistake.

Shenaya the owner of that salon is non professional lady with no experience at all .I went there for my hair treatment and she promised I'll have good results that gona last 4-6 months and she charge me 150£ ( soo expensive) and in advance. And after 1st wash my hairs were same there were nooo difference at all .I wentbthere and ask for refund or do treatment again but she refused and misbehave with me .she don't know how to treat customers.she is sooo rude lady .plzzzzzzz ladies don't go there .it's scam be careful guys. I have no problem with the place in general & use it regular so does my daughter, some of the staff are lovely.. BUT I’m very disappointed with my nails as after just over week they are lifting & as my nails are growing it’s showing ragged acrylic by the cuticle & some areas the acrylic have broke away. You get your nails done to show them off I fount myself hiding mine today. Initially they looked nice but after having acrylics done for about 16 years you know they are meant to be nice & rounded by ur cuticle as they grow

Visit the salom for pedicure and waxing. I'm completely dissatisfied. I paid 55 pound for a terrible result. I can do them better alone without paying these money. The Hollywood waxing burnt me and the skin is peeling off plus it hurts like crazy. I can attach pic from the area although I can from my feet. I call several times asking for a valid email address and they had been giving me wrong information. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. In all ways. Plus I was charged for more money than the pricelist

I used there service after wanting to change my makeup style and seen some work they posted on social media. All I can say is this place is totally unprofessional we arrived and had to wait for the makeup girl to arrive nearly an hour . My makeup was done in a rushed manner and was to heavily done hated it the staff don't speak hardly any English I should have refused to pay .. over all the way this business is run I think its a front for something else because all the bad reviews on here can't be wrong .

I came with my sister for some highlights and dip dye. Not only did I get what I wanted but the service was absolutely amazing. The quality of the hair dressers at glam salon is the best in Manchester. They won’t do something to ruin your hair and they will be completely honest. For me, the quality and professional is the best I’ve ever experienced. These lovely ladies know exactly what they are doing and I am sooooo happy with the service. Thank you so much Glam Salon.

come here if you want wonky and incredibly uneven nails. service was awful, my friend was interrupted twice for another client to be seen even though that asked for something else after getting a massage. did a devastating job of actually caring about what client wanted. didn’t even check the length of all the nails ONCE. also cut a drastically amount near the cuticle. even after being told it was for her birthday. ridiculous for £40. no effort put in.

Very disappointed with the service . The lady who did my waxing started applying the wax and pulling it at different angles to the hair growth and missed quite few Spots. I waited for an hour to get my hair washed and another half an hour to get it blow dry. It gave me a headache sitting with the wet hair. Only one of the staff members were friendly. They kept talking in their local language all the time. Would not recommend going there again.

Been going here for last 3 years since I have found the hidden gem that isn't so hidden on princess road. Owner and staff are super accommodating, go out of there way to fulfill any needs and designs of nails. Super prices and excellent quality. Would also like to add that it is a female only salon, so any reviews left by men are fake and very much wrong. Only rats around princess road are the ones writing fake reviews #period . X

Embarrassing. I had my nails today the worst experience I ever had the attitude of the staff was disrespectful. Not only I ended up paying extra to just get them fixed they intentionally kept me waiting for longer than expected. I have flight to catch the next day I told the lady but she kept asking me to asking to come back tomorrow or wait for 3 hours while she they were taking other clients. Honestly won't go there again.

I've been getting my nails done by Shanaya, Neda and the team for three years now and will never go anywhere else, all the ladies are friendly and work to ensure you are happy, they even bought a special colour especially for me (as I am very particular!) Their opening hours are so convenient and it's so easy to walk in or book by phone, I really recommend the salon, I always know I'll get the best service!

This is the salon that keeps on giving! I’ve been here on so many occasions now and no where in Manchester has kept up with its sass ... the quality of the nails are amazing always having the ideal shades. I have also had eye lash extensions done and they always aline them perfect to my face shape, the staff are very friendly making every appointment unique can’t recommend them highly enough !

This is the best haircut I have ever had! I have had a lot of issues finding a good hairdresser in the past and normally come out disappointed at other salon But this time was different, They listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered on that. In addition, she gave me some great advise for products and how to style and dry my hair. My curls have never looked better. Thank you so much!

I have had many hair balayages done here and each time the service was amazing and recently had a girls spa treatment day including use of private hot tub which was also excellent service and a lucky find as you can't find many private female only hot tubs and spa treatments in Manchester especially for groups. I would recommend for groups upto 6 and I personally would definitely go again.

I have been having bikini waxing done for years and came to Glam Master Salon & Spa and had hollywood waxing with Bahaar for the first time and she made me feel so comfortable and it was pain free, the best waxing I’ve ever had. Bahaar is the waxing queen! I also got my eyebrows done, she did an amazing job again to suit my face. Highly recommend to everyone x Thanks again x

Came here to get the definition brows on treatwell. I wouldn't come back here ever again and would not recommend. I came out with my eyebrows looking worse, they let me leave the shop looking like the below pictures. No explanation of when i wipe the dye off until i asked the lady. My eyebrows do not look like they have been threaded or waxed. Shocking! Do not go here

The most high quality and lasting lashes I’ve ever gotten! The lashes perfectly compliment my eye shape. As someone who is very picky about their lashes I can honestly say Definitely make an appointment- you won’t be disappointed! The whole experience was relaxing and extremely professional. poor service read recent reviews im not the only one I am complaining on behalf of my wife, as MY MONEY has been wasted on these services. they take cash, fair enough but then have a no refund policy clearly they know they are a poor service so makes sense why they do not accept refunds there are other salons, please avoid this one

Joke of a salon and pathetic customer service. Booked in for a keratin blow dry no questions asked, took time out of my day and travelled far to get here to be told I can’t have it done because I have light hair when they could have simply asked me over the phone and not wasted my time. Will not be returning or recommending

Came to the salon with my hair looking dry and dead, I asked for recommendations & my hairdresser helped and assisted me. It was my first time and don’t know what to expect. However, The results was amazing! Couldn’t of asked for better service. Me and my sister would definitely recommend. It’s affordable and trustworthy.

Excellent service as always. Although I arrived slightly late, they where able to do all my waxing. She is very gentle, professional and very funny! Do NOT recommend! I bought a groupon for wash, cut and blowdry. When i got to the salon, the lady goes blowdry is not included as the hair is long but on the groupon it didnt state that thae hair should be certain lenth to get the blowdry. The cut was meh, not the best. Very unprofessional. I do NOT recommend at all.

I recently went to get my brows done and even though the staff was lovely the end of my brow was missing and I mentioned that I didn’t want them too dark and they had left the cream to develop for a while before removing it even after me signalling for their attention :/ it’s a shame because they we’re really nice.

Bahar is the most sweetest thing ever! Made me comfortable and got everything I wanted too ! From eye lash lift to eyebrow threading to literally waxing me . She was soft and gentle . She knows what she’s doing! First time ever coming here and she welcomed me the best ! Will come back often just for her service!

Great salon my wife been to Every stylist, especially zozo that I've had there has given me a really good cut and blow dry & colour They listen to what you want and offer good advice. I also find the prices to be reasonable. As well as hair, I've had my eyebrows tinted and was happy with the results.

Paid £170 for a balayage which ended up being streaky highlights - did show and ask prior to the appointment whether she could do what was asked and was confidently told ‘yes’. Disappointed after a week even the colour has completed gone and now I’m just left with damaged bleached streaks in my hair

Such a wonderful place. Lovely pretty decor. I came here today with my daughter for keratin straightening. Shan was absolutely amazing and such an inspiration. Such a beautiful woman inside out. Me and my daughter are happy with the treatment and will definitely be coming back.

I have had my laser treatment from Glam Master, painless, quick and very much effective, cannot recommend this enough, I have had dark corse hair all my life and Shania has just whisked it away. My only regret is that I should have gone sooner!

Today i’ve done eyelashes extensions (classics) and they looked amazing! The lady was so professional and she understood exactly what I requested and done them as i want. I’m so happy with my lashes and i will definitely do them again here.

I am a new customer and didnt find much warmth from the staff; except a staff Sam who did my hair. I was left alone without anything to occupy my time. It was quiet wait, it maybe the heat on that day. There was one fan facing the worker

The 1st time I went around, loved the waxing but the lady that just did my nails today made me feel very uncomfortable with her lack of knowledge! I had to show hwr twice how to cut the skin off. Very disappointed and unhappy

such bad service my eyelashe extensions literally fell out the next morning after having them done and they charged me £50 when it says £40 online. also had bad customer service and said “the lashes are just different?”

Love this salon as all the staff are incredibly friendly. Had my nails done acrylic ombré nails, I absolutely adore them! I love that it is walk in and receive a good service. Definitely will be coming again!

I did keratin treatment for my hair with glam master salon and spa, it was an amazing experience. My hair was very frizzy and difficult to manage and now it's super soft. Thanks to glam master salon and spa.

Got my lashes done at this salon, never again! I’m not a lash tech an even i know they were not isolated properly! They were all clumped together, which cause them to not grow as they are supposed to. This

wasn’t impressed with the way the lady did the actual design on my nails and the acrylics were very chunky than usual other than that the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I get my waxing done from here and they always do it really good. I highly recommend Bahar as she always makes me feel really comfortable and takes really good care of me. :)
