Having recently had a spate of unpleasant experiences with my car and bad repairs, I really have to take a moment to leave this positive review because without a doubt, I will never take my car to a mechanic (including and especially a dealership) without first reading their reviews. This is the first online review I have written. I brought my 2011 Toyota Prius to Felipe at Glass Cars and told him the AC wasn’t working. He assessed the problem, made a diagnosis and gave me some clear recommendations for next steps, which included taking my car to a specialist mechanic (given the problem he’d diagnosed). I’ve learned from this experience that those of us that know little about cars rely and trust mechanics almost like we trust our doctors. This is a mechanic and shop I would trust time and time again. I will literally pay these guys for a second opinion before moving forward with any major repairs with my car again. Thank you for all that you do. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Took 1972 VW to them because of short in system that was running down the battery. They told me I had put battery in backwards and that new battery was required. So I took them new battery without argument although I do not believe the battery was incorrectly installed. Then they told me I needed a new wiper motor. I plugged in a connector under the dash that was loose and the wipers worked. So I didn't need a $ 200 motor.They made no comment when I pointed this out. They fixed the short in the wiring harness but when they returned the car to me the radio did not work. Why? They left my always garaged VW convertible out in the rain and it ruined the radio. They denied any responsibility - "You should have told us to put it inside." And now I have to replace the radio for $ 180. I am not happy with this business. They wanted to fix something that did not need fixing and will not fix something that was damaged on their watch. I'd avoid this place..

Thank you SO much to Felipe and his team! Glass Cars is truly extraordinary. They are efficient and provide excellent quality. I have found my go to body shop and will not be going anywhere else from now on. Since going my first time in September 2021, I have (unfortunately) gone back two more times (caused by my own issues not due to previously done work), however, every time Felipe is kind and walks me through what needs to be done. Every time his quote is what I have been charged and the car comes back to me looking even better than I could imagine. Do yourself a favor and if you have to go to the body shop go to Glass Cars. They have a ton of experience and you will not be disappointed. They are truly the best in the business that I have experienced.

Another terrific experience at Glass Cars. I drove 30+ miles to use this business based on a prior high quality experience 10 years ago. They do top-notch work, and are not afraid to take on more challenging work. I brought a 4Runner to them, that several shops in my area refused to work on due to rust. The vehicle was used in the northeast, and there was rust in the brakes, brake lines, shocks, struts, calipers, etc. The professional team at Glass Cars tackled all the problems and brought the vehicle back to good operating condition. Highly recommend Glass Cars. Will use them again. I had used them previously for extensive hail damage in 2011 or 2012, and they did great body work that time. Very pleased. BEWARE. I have been going to Glass Cars for many years, but they are under new ownership. I took my car there last week for a regular service. They called and told me what was needed and although it sounded like a lot I agreed. I have always trusted them. But when I went to pick up my car I realized it had been sold. And I got SCAMMED. Here is what they did to my car that has less than 25,000 miles on it that i drive back and forth a couple miles each day. Rotate tires and check brakes Replace air filter Transmission fluid flush Fuel injection flush Throttle body service No oil change because I told them I had recently had that done. TOTAL = $620

Felipe is a SICK GENIUS. I am convinced he could turn a Mazda into a Maserati on his lunch break with nothing but a spanner wrench and a pair of pliers. I have come to him for everything from a door ding to a broken seat belt to a total front-end disaster - and every time, he and his crew get me back on the road like nothing ever happened. Don't give your business to anyone else. Come to Glass Cars for quick, cheerful, honest service - this place is pure automagic.

I took my 1978 VW Bus to them to have the rims painted and some electrical work done and these guys were awesome! They even stayed past closing to help me out and charged me 1/3 less than another, nearby shop quoted. I would definitely recommend them. And as a side note, they have additional parking in the alleyway behind the facility. Nice fellows and I will be back as we continue the restoration.

I went there to replace some small pieces that were stolen from my car. They were very professional, honest, and quick. I appreciate that they gave me such a great experience even though the job was so small. It is rare to get that kind of customer service these days. One small recommendation: Their parking lot is very small so I would probably park just around the corner and walk up.

Felipe and his entire team are the best. Took our old 2007 Mercedes and got it looking new again. I thought I was going to have to repaint the whole car but they matched everything perfectly. Thanks for the great job. Definitely recommend to anyone needing paint or body work done. 5 Stars from beginning to end. Thanks for being true professionals.

Glass Cars gave me a free diagnostic. While I didn't end up using them for service, I was glad to find out that they are extremely trustworthy. I accidentally left some cash in my car when I left it for the diagnostic. I was pleased to find every last dollar in the exact spot that I had left it (in plain view). Just wanted to pass that along.

Felipe has helped me twice now with two different issues. Both times, he gave me what's probably under the market price, honesty, and at times would go the extra mile to make sure the job was done correctly. I can't help but recommend Felipe and Glass Cars for any issues, small or big you might have. Truly a 5 star experience.

I went to glass cars thinking they would only weld back on a piece that I had accidentally broken off my Toyota hatchback support system. They not only welded it, but Put back the part that came off. It cost me $120, which was well worth it. Absolutely outstanding, prompt service!

One of the best experiences I have ever had at an auto repair shop. The folks at glass cars are nice, professional, reasonable, and fast. They gave me several options, one of which was very inexpensive, and looked great. highly recommend!
