I am both a staff member and a parent of Glenelg Primary School and I am writing this review from my experiences as a parent of two boys at the school. Both my boys started at reception and have gone all the way through to Year 7 (across the last 11 years from 2010 until present). I feel that my children been given a superb and engaging education, delivered by enthusiastic and passionate teachers, who have always inspired them to become the best that they can. They have loved the school, the teachers, their peers and also the many extra curricular opportunities that they have been given over the years. I honestly believe that they have become the well-rounded, hard-working and successful individuals that they are today because of their time at GPS. In my opinion it is a great school where the children are genuinely cared for and definitely not just a number, parents and families are a real community, and staff work tirelessly to ensure each child is reaching their potential.

Only the best will do for my son. He is a high needs child and very energetic. Behaviour issues usually relate directly to stimulation and support. Understanding of how best manage the childs needs are priority. For all children . No bad reviews necessarily need to be spoken about although not alot of positive reviews either. If you feel your child/children need support with behaviour management or learning support . . The school best attending is not too far away. Just a hop, skip n jump from Anzac hwy tucked away on quiet safe streets. Tylers Dad

My Son has spent 3 great years at Glenelg Primary. The teachers helped my son catch up and bring him up to speed with his education. My experience with the teachers was second to none. They were direct and caring and we just wish they had a high school..As a parent I would recommend this school if you are lucky enough to be in the zone or have a opportunity. Thank you Matt Rose, Jason Rose and Kelly Rivett I hope your principal knows how good you all are.

We have had the pleasure of being apart of the Glenelg primary school for 7 years. It has been a truly positive and enjoyable community to be apart of. The teachers are supportive and available for both students and parents. The communication from the school is regular and informative. The children always look so happy and content before and after school. Our daughter has thrived in this environment since reception and we couldn’t be happier.

I went to this school for 8 years. After year 4, I did not learn much. I was in a double class for 6 years in a row, and when my mother emailed the school to request a meeting with the current Principle to discuss it, she didn't get a reply. When she emailed again 6 months later, she got a reply, so she went in, and the Principle did not remember her.

This school has been amazing and the teacher are fantastic my two children go here and they absolutely love it. The school offers lots of programmes and they support children with individual needs and requitements. Great schhol to be a part of …

the relife teacher ben sensai was so strict he made one of my friends buy an entire pencil box just for accedently braking a pencil3===)

Really good staff who teacher well and care for students. My children love this school and teh wide range of experiences available.
