Much cheaper and faster to drive all the way to Baton Rouge than deal with GNOC. I bought my bike at GNOC so I thought it would be the place to bring it for repairs. As soon as I walked in, the attendant told me I needed new grips and put a pair on top of my bike as he brought it to the back. It took them a whole week to just diagnose the issue, and told me I needed $400 in repairs. Looking at the quote they wanted to replace almost every component but the frame, even though I had only come in for shifting issues. Since a single visit to them was going to cost me half of what a new bike costs, I declined the quote and picked up the bike. My mother lives in Baton Rouge and I noticed they also have a Trek distributor with several locations. I drove all the way to Capitol Cyclery expecting to have to leave my bike for days. The attendant politely asked me to wait a few minutes, and 15 minutes later he returned with the bike fully fixed. The total cost? $35. I’m shocked and disappointed by GNOC and their attempt to overcharge me for things that did not have to be replaced from the moment I walked in. The repair guy was rude and dismissive, telling me my bike was sure to fail if I didn’t replace all they quoted. Needless to say GNOC has lost this client forever, I much rather drive to Baton Rouge to get my bike serviced than deal with this shop ever again.

Really disappointed in the effort made by the shop to fix my intermediate road bike. They replaced my part with inferior and significantly heavier part. If you cycle with anything more than a basic bike you know how much of an issue this is. I thought they were throwing me a bone because they didn’t have an exact replacement but what they did will cost me a lot of money and time. Very frustrating. Good labor price and fair cost for what I got but not what I wanted and communicated with the shop.

I don’t live in New Orleans, but GNO was the closest Cannondale dealer to me. I ordered a new bike online and had it delivered to GNO for them to assemble and tune. I was a little worried about doing this, but they did such a great job. The bike rides and shifts perfectly. I will definitely be buying my next bike from GNO and will recommend them to others.

GNO has a wide range of bikes and some are very snazzy bikes! I am just a regular bike rider, around my neighborhood is my usual limit. I had a brake issue. They were very nice, did not sneer at my lack of expertise, repaired the issue perfectly and did not overcharge. I recommend them highly!

My go-to spot for all things related to cycling. Conveniently located in Uptown/Carrollton section of New Orleans. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are at or often below online prices. Great selection of bikes that will just about fit anyone's needs. Repairs are done on-site.

Got a deal on a Trek for my daughter's birthday. She loves it. Took our road bikes for a tune up and tire change. They came out and helped me get the bikes out the back of my truck in June heat. Quick and great service at a great price!

I have been going here since I moved to the city and bought a couple of bikes from them, including a new road bike after mine was stolen. Every time I go in, they are really helpful and knowledgeable. Always a great experience.

Been going to GNO for purchases of new bikes as well as repairs for approximately 20 years. This is a great shop. Billy always has good solutions and does quality repairs/tuneups. Is the best bike store in the NOLA area.

I went to replace tubes and tires. They left my brake cables loose when reinstalling, and they rub now. However, It was done in 2 hrs. Tubes and tires ride all over.
