Whilst I must say I really like the furniture they sell, considering that it sells premium furniture, their showroom is a joke. It has got almost nothing in it. Their opening hours are unbelievable - they close at 4pm on Sat and they are closed on Sun. The fact that they sell Italian furniture does not mean they have to have Italy's working hours too. We drove all the way from Canary Wharf to King's Road on a Sat afternoon in nightmarish traffic. The shop assistant was friendly enough, but it was still a bit annoying that the first point she made when she saw me was: we close in 10 min. If you are going to charge me up to £4k for a chest of drawers, I'd expect a bit of flexibility, especially when your opening hours do not follow UK standards. When we got there there was only paid parking facilities, the machines took coins only, and we had no coins. When I asked one of the shop assistants she said that it is a nightmare to park on Sat around there (may I highlight again that they do not open on Sun). As a result, my husband could not even get out of the car, which in the end was not really a problem, as none of the furniture we wanted to see was in their showroom. They should really have a warning about that on their website. All I could see was a piece of wood that I was told was the same material the furniture I liked was made of and I was handed an iPad to browse their website. Hardly worth going to a showroom for that. The website I can check out on my laptop and the wood sample they could offer to post to your home. I felt really rushed and uncomfortable throughout. Out of principle we decided not to buy from Go Modern. We got home and looked for another another company that supplied the same furniture and bought from them instead.

A wonderful gem of a shop in Chelsea selling excellent quality Italian products. I was impressed with their service throughout. I found them by scouring the internet for a wardrobe for our dressing room. They were by far the best option to go with. I popped down to their showroom on the King’s Road and was greeted by a team of warm and charming staff. They were extremely patient with my indecisiveness and talked me through all the different options I could have. They really took into account our needs and ensured that the design was perfect for us. They were very prompt with sending us the designs through. After deciding on the final design, the lead time was worth waiting for as the quality of the product that they delivered is superb! The fitters were very polite and took their shoes off without prompting and they were extremely careful carrying all the parts up and putting the wardrobe together. They were very particular with their work and spent ages just adjusting the hidden feet to ensure that it was perfectly level. We are very happy with the wardrobe; it feels so solid and durable and looks stunning. We have had many compliments about the piece and friends are always asking where it is from. I have purchased a transformable table, Italian make and it’s very beautiful and exactly what I needed/wanted for the space. Pros -the furniture is gorgeous and I got exactly what I expected. - the delivery was impeccable (the delivery guys wore masks, offered to remove shoes when coming in, placed the table in the designated room and removed all the packaging) Cons - I’m not giving this place 5 stars because I had higher expectations from a luxury store like this when it comes to customer service. The table took 6 weeks to arrive (understandable in times like these) but I only got one email update in that time. I called a few times but the customer representatives that I spoke to didn’t seem interested to do their job. On the last call I made I spoke to Cecily and she was by far the most attentive of all. But even on that call there was some confusion with times and dates and I was told that I would get a call back as the table was in transit. 10 min later I got a call back and was informed the table will be delivered the next day ‍♀️ Seemed a tad disorganized. In the end I would recommend this place as overall the experience was good. Word of advice to the business- invest in customer service training as good communication goes a long way.

We found Go Modern online when we were searching for low level storage units in modern colours. The Chelsea shop is small but they have access to a very wide range of contemporary furniture sourced from all over Europe. At the shop Andrew suggested a number of options to meet our requirements and we were able to choose our own sizes, finishes and colours by looking at the samples available. So far we have bought a stunning sideboard, a long and low deep red chest of bedroom drawers, a media unit and a whole wall of low storage units with a mix of drawers and cupboards. We chose matt lacquer finishes in a range of colours, and waited eagerly for delivery - as the furniture was built to order in Italy or Portugal that took on average 10 weeks but we were kept up to date on timings throughout. It is well worth paying a little extra for delivery and assembly - the guys doing it were excellent. We are so pleased with the look and quality of all the items, and found the prices reasonable for designer furniture of this standard. Above all, we were able to get JUST what we wanted with expert help and guidance from Andrew at Go Modern . Highly recommended and we are happy to provide photos of our furniture on request.

I am absolutely delighted with my Novamobili Wardrobe! After recently refurbishing my bedroom, I was in need of a wardrobe that could fill a long stretch of wall. The ceilings are relatively low, so trying to find a high quality product that could also be quite low was proving to be quite challenging. However, after coming across Go Modern I was amazed at the wide selection they had on offer. The team in the showroom couldn't have been more helpful. They were very attentive to what I needed and suggested the most suitable layout for the inside. I never felt pressured by the staff like I have in other companies which really gave me that extra boost of confidence that these were the right guys to deal with. I placed the order and after 8 weeks the wardrobe arrived. Their assembly team booked me in the following week and took great care when entering my property and assembled it to perfection - They are obviously very experienced with handling these brands. Honestly, the quality has far surpassed my expectations and was certainly worth the wait for a high end, Italian brand! Hi there, I've just received this lovely pirce of furniture for a small bedroom design. I'm minded to write as I am so pleased with the whole service from Go Moderm. From initial designing to despatch and delivery. I had to order online unseen and GoModern design staff were extremely helpful with mock up drawings and samples. Ive bought a lot of large pieces on line this year and deliveries has been unreliable. Therefore I want to compliment Go Modern for the sturdyness of their supply chain - despite covid and brexit (and without the tradiditional fun associated with furniture shipped from Italy). Theirs is a true examplar of professional and attentive salesmanship. Personally It's been challenging doing up a flat entirely online and so i'd like to underline, with complete conviction, that Go Modern have been outstanding! Jane Shrives.

I ordered a double bed by Porada through Go Modern early June 2019 and was delighted with both the service received at the showroom and the article purchased. The Canaletto walnut is gorgeous! I was kept well informed and notified it would arrive early August. Once we agreed delivery details, the team arrived on time and mounted it in just over 45 minutes, their attention to detail was second to none and it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. They checked I was happy with the article and removed all the packaging (handy if you don’t have a car!). I definitely recommend buying through Go Modern, their staff is knowledgeable and courteous. I will be using them to furnish a second home i am currently renovating in France, in fact I have spotted some garden furniture which would be perfect.

We worked with GoModern on two different apartment refurbishments and ordered some of our furniture there on the two occasions. On both occasions we had a great experience with the company, even when things were a bit difficult due to the pandemic. Their customer service was impeccable and working with Maryam Ziapour, Design Consultant, for our order of a TV | shelving unit recently was a great experience. The TV unit looks great and fits perfectly in the room. The installation team did a great job - super friendly, efficient and professional. Maryam has been on point to answer all our queries and proactively booked the delivery although it took several month for the furniture to be built. She was super professional, following up throughout the process til the end result.

I would recommend it to the closest family members and friends. The level of service, involvement and response (the rate and the quality) were beyond amazing. Everything I have ordered was delivered quick, as promised, in a great condition, although the order was shipped to Dubai. All the documentation I required was handed over, and since it was my first order of furniture from abroad, I required some consultancy which I got in full. Claudio has guided me through the VAT process which wasn't applicable in my case luckily, as well as helped a lot with understanding what exactly should I order based on my requirements and house size. I got an Alivar HF3 and Jesse bespoke TV wall set. Thanks again! Brilliant service!

Just bought a beautiful Bonaldo Big Table (with orange, red, green & lilac legs!!) from these guys and I love it - its the perfect statement piece for our Kitchen/diner. Dealt with a lovely Italian chap Claudio at the showroom who really knew his stuff, I didnt really know what i wanted, I just knew I wanted something that would stand out. He carefully explained all the tables and the different finishes etc so that i had enough knowledge to make an informed choice. Delivery day went really well - the two lovely chaps that delivered the table spent ages making sure it was in the right place. Would highly recommend.

The service I received from Go Modern is excellent. Wish I could say the same for the product and installation. The guy installed the bed cracked a piece because he couldn't be bothered to read the manual. Now after four years of extremely light use and routine care according to manufacturer's instruction, both the bed and two bedside tables suffer from significant bubbling on the surface. They are nowhere near the sun so I cannot blame the UV light. I am very disappointed with the so called Italian quality. This is worse than made in China or Vietnam. Never ever again is my advice.

Worst customer service possible, I ordered Jesse Wardrobes from them around 7 years ago now and the experience then was also bad but I recently had to deal with them again for an adjustment to one of the wardrobes. Incompetent sales people, total lack of customer service, in the end i got my money refunded for the majority of the order because after a couple of months they couldn't work out how to fulfil it. I now have new drawers in my wardrobe that catch the door when they are opened, missing a rack, and one hinge is hanging off. Highly recommend not to deal with them

I worked with Maryam 8 months ago to create a fitted wardrobe for a guest room. She was super to work with, and helped me come up with the perfect design. I must have tested her patience as she had to send about 5 design iterations based on my feedback, but nothing appeared too much trouble - her focus was on customer satisfaction and getting it right for my needs. She also used creative ways to overcome the systems design costings to help with the budget, and without compromising on the quality or style of the finished wardrobe. I definitely felt she had my back.

Fully satisfied, good quality products and high post-sale support. I purchased several furniture for my flat a few years back. The items were delivered and fitted promptly and professionally. It happened that one of the items had an issue more than two years later, it was out of warranty but I contacted the shop and the manger had been fully supportive, providing the best solution and without requiring any payment. It was among the best post-sales services I have ever received.

My order was delayed by 3 weeks beyond the estimated timeline (had to chase a few times as communication from them was not proactive). Additionally the wrong spec was delivered at first, so I waited for another 3 months to get the correct order re-delivered. However the product itself is of great quality, installation service was excellent and follow-up customer service from their manager was not bad. Would recommend if you are not in a rush to get your furniture.

I was expecting a really big shop after visiting their website, but it was quite small & none of the bits I was interested in were on display. Anyway, I bought a sofabed and a tv unit after looking at the sofabed they had there & checking out the colours/materials & Im pleased I did, they are both brilliant. Their guy Claudio was really helpful too so all in all even though the shop didnt have what I wanted to see it worked out really well.

Excellent friendly service! Products look and feel great, and the aftercare service is excellent. We have now bought several items from Go Modern because of this. Two years after purchase, and one of the soft close mechanism's developed a fault. Go Modern agreed to fix and replace it at no cost very quickly after reporting. Would certainly look at furnishing my next house from here!

Terribly disappointing - purchased a very expensive dining room table the top of which is coated and chips off at the slightest touch. Go Modern was less than interested in the problem and did little to intervene with the manufacturer and absolved themselves of selling us a table which is entirely non-functional and not fit for purpose. It should have been sold as a piece of art!

We worked with Go Modern in December ‘20 pre-lockdown and ordered an upholstered bed. After lockdown started, the whole team at Go Modern kept us informed and made sure we were in the know about our product. Our bed arrived 1 week ago and we are absolutely thrilled, such an amazing bed and the service was wonderful! Vittoria was lovely to work with! Highly recommend!

For me great service is not what is received when things go to plan, but rather what is done when things go wrong. James and his team provided a bespoke service from the outset and when something out of their control went wrong, their response was truly outstanding. I am absolutely delighted with the final product and can’t recommend Go Modern more highly.

Purchased an item that was poorly made / assembled. The installation team agreed and stated it needed replacing. However, the shop simply would not accept there was a problem with the unit despite the view of their fitters. Ended up with a partial refund but still not happy with the unit. Would never buy from this shop again.

Very happy with our Bespoke Wall Units which were expertly fitted . Maryam helped to design them to our needs and it was a pleasure to talk to her frequently over the phone. The quality is excellent and worth the slightly longer than expected delay. Looking forward to receiving our dining table and chairs next week.

We looked online and then visited the showroom. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable (the showroom is small). The delivery drivers were polite and called to let me know their progress. They were right on time. The bed we ordered is terrific and we will shop with Go Modern again.

Best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Purchased some products a few years ago and rang up to get an accessory replaced and although it had to be sourced from Italy, nothing seemed to be a problem and I received my item. Thank you James Crauford Taylor!

Store was suoprisingly small, but was able to see the quality of the furniture and most importantly the available colour samples. If, like me you are stuck with looking at computer screens for correct colours, then a visit to the store is a must.

Really pleased with our mini forms Acco glass table and 6 beautiful chairs. Got regular updates from store re availability and delivery and it arrived on time and the delivery guys set it all up without fuss and it’s stunning. We are so pleased.
