When I first started going to this place three-and-a-half years ago it was a lot better. But in the last six months the quality of the service has just gone straight to the toilet. They had a light pole and somebody hit the parking lot and it took months and months and months for them to fix it, it was all bent over and looked trashy. This past week or two they had some guy that's been sleeping in his car on the property overnight and I haven't seen anybody do anything about it. But mainly it's the drive-through service that is terrible. When you get up there they've got one spot to order the food at but they don't ever use both of their Windows to make the process smooth where you can pay the first window and get your food at the second. Employees don't speak properly so when you try to listen to them over the microphone speaker it's hard to hear them clearly. The restaurant is right next to two busy roads, and the employees don't speak louder to be heard over the traffic. Even when you tell them that you can't hear them clearly they repeat the same thing at the same volume with the same lack of enunciation. They don't seem to be educated properly. When I went to the drive-thru yesterday, I pulled up and I waited a long time without anybody saying anything. This was in the afternoon when the store was open for business. After waiting and waiting and waiting at the drive-thru, I finally said hello, is anybody there? A voice answered, give me a minute, with a rude tone. That was a hundred percent not what they're supposed to say and that's a hundred percent not how they're supposed to say it. That waited and waited and waited again. And then I said hello? Is anybody there? And with the same rudeness, the same boy said give me a minute! But it was more rude. After waiting some more, I finally said what is the problem? Is anybody there? The same road voice answered me with even more rudeness, I said give me a minute! And they started to come up with some sarcastic response but they caught themselves halfway through their rudeness. I replied, all I'm trying to find out is if anybody's there and what is the delay? We've been sitting out here waiting to order and there's cars behind me. What is the problem? Employee was rude again so I told him I'm going inside, get the manager. I went inside and the manager wasn't ready. The manager was standing over by the drive-thru window doing something I don't know what. I told the employees to go get the manager all they did was mumble and point towards the drive-thru window saying something like, she's there. I looked at the employee who was working at the drive-thru, who had been a jerk to me, and I gave him a harsh look. It's completely unacceptable to treat a customer like this. Like this should literally never occur. I talked to the manager and I was ticked off. I explained to her how this should NEVER happen. I explained to her what the employee SHOULD be saying, and I explained to her my history of having worked at multiple restaurants (and also having worked the drive-through myself and being very good at it). The manager kept telling me yes, thank you for letting me know, I've handled it, I'm talk to the employee. I told her that the employer should be told to get off the clock, clock out, go home and think about what he did. And then, IF he has a job tomorrow, he better come back with a better attitude. This restaurant is going the same way as McDonald's down. You can't get quality service anymore here or at most Oak Cliff restaurants staffed by lazy teenagers ... They're super disrespectful, they're not very smart, and most of them would prefer to stand around looking at their phones and smoking weed. OK Cliff is continuing to decline and decline. Best to move out.

HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and don't come here. I asked for tenders and they had only dirty rice as side nothing else. Not sure what is the point of asking me what I want for my side when you have none. I made it to the window and after the cashier (who was nice) take my method of payment the pregnant manager (the one starting like she didn't wanted to be there on the corner dress in the blue shirt said "we ain't doing that " and tell the lady at the window not to accept my method of payment .So she doesn't so I gave her a bill . The manager comes a second time and don't let her charge me but instead esnt to inspect the bill. After they charge me I notice none of the condiments I asked for where there so I asked for my gravy and my powder and of course they had no gravy. What is the point of having a restaurant open of you got practically nothing to serve? what is the point of going to Golden chick if the service at this location is going to be not golden chick standar but straight up bad service , manager looks like she didn't wanted to be there at all but also wasn't doing much . I had to drove to Williams chicken to get me som gravy so I could condiments my tenders but I was very clothes to just ask me for a refund and leave the food I took. This wasn't just below what I expected of golden chick it was just bad.

Well I gave them all 5 stars for I received my order through Doordash. So I can't based it off of any in person visit. I ordered the chicken sandwich and a salad. The appearance was okay. The meat didn't fit the bread and they made it sloppy. I will admit, I was thinking negative about the food based of the way it looked. So imagine my surprise when I bit into it. Omg, it was sauced down, had a good amount of pickles, crunchy and juicy. It was a burst of goodness in my mouth. Now I love me some chicken and I have tried many chicken sandwiches from fast food places and this one so far is the best! Totally shocked me! I will definitely get it again! I love their chicken tenders as well, but now I am like chicken tenders who?

I hate going to this place after 2pm. There is no regard to how the food is prepared. Today I ordered 2-3pc tender meals with water. The tenders were undercooked, the fries were recooked and hard, the bread felt like it had been sitting for hours and the waters didn't have any ice. I work hard for the money I spend and I want the service and food that i deserve when spending my money. This is ridiculous especially when I get off work trying to feed my family. If I could have I would have rated a -5 stars. Until corporate and management resolve their in-house issues this will be this service we receive. OH and trust the picture may not look like the description but please believe me when I tell you that it's the God's honest truth.

I ordered 4 piece tender meal and drove home, opened the box at home to 4 piece chicken nugget I mean these things were SMALL my 5 year old could’ve easily ate double that amount.. for $12? Come on.. I called and complained, manager was nice enough to say she would swap it out for me. A family member picked it up and this time we got 7 chicken nuggets. Like what is up?? lol we can get jumbo over sized tenders at Williams down the street, or even Canes will give you an actual tender. I ordered two Fletchers corn dogs. The employee initially stated they did not have any more. Then stated they did have some. Well the batter in the two corn dogs I was given was crunchy and crumbling. The corn dogs were clearly old and refried. The weiner was sort of brownish/greenish. They were horrible and a disgrace to the Fletcher brand. The employees were laughing and joking as if they were outdoors. The cashier was playing with her hair. She said they did not have ice for drinks, but she was eating ice. That entire crew at the drive thru window need some Customer Service training. Btw, my corn frittersand fries were hot and fresh. However, the corn dog negated the entire order. My grandmother enjoyed her chicken salad sandwich.

Golden Chicken lives up to their name. Unfortunately the location on Kiest in Oak Cliff has a rude, pitbull head cashier that takes the joy away from shopping there. The dude belongs at the local jail house cafeteria or cleaning up a spill instead of supervising. Save your trip, go to Cedar Hill instead.

The shift manager was not very friendly and I didn't like how she questioned other employees about other employees worst thing to do is play your employees against one another. I spent almost 15.00 and she checked the register to see if I paid for .49 ranch dressing which I did and she didn't even apologize after she saw I paid for the ranch. The website says open til 3am but the manager sits in the chair at the window in a blue shirt on his phone And employees sitting in their cars with the drive thru and the entrance door blocked off as if they are closed everyone is paying themselves to not work if your trying to make money or expecting to make you need new employees or at least visit your establishment randomly through the weekday and weekends keep everyone on their toes this is why you aren't getting the money your looking for or expecting to make you have lazy people looking for a free income without working if you picked a late night shift then work the shift if not give employment to someone deserving.

Forgot half my order, gave me the wrong size on what they did give me, and gave me attitude and hung up on me once I called them to POLITELY let them know. Didn't ask for a refund or for them to replace anything, handled that through doordash, but the employee who answered the phone snapped at me and hung up on me when I simply asked him to be more mindful in the future. I worked in the food service industry, I know how burnt out you can get, and I did not call with the intentions of being rude or railing on them for forgetting the meal I got for my son. But this behavior and the way they acted was unforgivable, I will never be ordering from here again.

I was at this location on tonight (the day before Thanksgiving). I pulled up at exactly 8:46pm and they had already closed down the lobby and locked the doors. There were eight cars ahead of me and when I got to the window I asked what time they closed and the lady said midnight. I was not pleased that my family and I could not eat together inside of the restaurant at 8:46 pm. What’s the point of closing the lobby at such a premature time of the day? The only reason that I stayed and ordered the food is because my sick husband had requested it and I didn’t want to disappoint him. It would be nice if management thought of their customers the same way.

Ghetto as fuq... Big black wide back girl has no customer service at all and they messed up my order. I ordered Wings, and I got home and it was tenders. Called to speak with a manager but was placed on hold for over 7 minutes before I hung up. I should have known better being that something similar happened back in May. The environment inside giving unkept and ratchet. I saw 4 employees for myself and they're all hood and young. Avoid this establishment at all cost.

Its is 10:18 pm and I pull up to order and asked for a 15 piece and was tild they only had 8 pieces of chicken I asked if they were gonna make more and was told no so im pull up to the front and call inside to speak to manager she gave me her name laquanda I told her I asked for an 15 piece she sais they only have a certain amout they sell for the day they she said she has some ready she said do you want some or what when I told her she was talking unprofessional and I was going to call corporate she hung up on me. I do not like this particular location. The reason I do not like this particular location, it seems like everyone at this location has an attitude. The customer service is terrible. They are slow with your order. The last time I went to this location I waited for a whole 1 hour and 15 minutes. My order was wrong. The food was not good, the food was warm, it was not hot. You would think I waited that long and paid almost $40, for my order that it would be piping hot . They did not ask me if I want a complimentary drink. So sad.

First time last time ! The person that was taking orders was rude and rushing and I couldn’t understand him . Then got my order wrong . Walking in and it smell like dirt mop water. As I’m wait for my correct order the guy drops the gravy container and proceeds to put it in the bag. The food was good, except the okra & biscuits, which was extremely hard. I didn't get what I ordered. I also had to repeat myself several times at the speaker because there was music playing in the background & laughing, on the inside, as the person who took my order spoke to me. So that night, both my diabetic Mother & my Aunt who just had surgery, had to eat later &something separate from everyone else, because we were not given the proper foods that were conducive to their required diet.

This location was not as good as the one on Buckner @ Samuell. Pick up order placed on the app. Had to go into the store to do the pick up... defeats the purpose. The woman that the counter was not friendly and we were shorted corn fritters. Good chicken but too bad not very good customer service.

I ordered the catfish and it was amazingly good it was hot and fresh. Even though the crew were teenagers or young adults, they were very mannerable very professional. Not much more to say than disappointing. The fish wasn’t warm. The okra was only half filled in the small bag. The roll was hard even though it looked like it wouldn’t be. The fish was in pieces and in no way looked like the filets on the menu. Very puny looking. From looking at other similar reviews left by other customers it appears that management doesn’t care. It wasn't the best, but they have improved on customer service. The food was warm, however. Ice cream was really good for some reason. I believe all the establishments have the same soft serve, but at this location it was really good, so I got two cones instead of my usual one. Fredrick was extremely eager to make sure I got what I needed and even threw in an extra tender for the survey. I will be back, and hopefully I can change my rating to 5.

I ordered a3 piece fish patted 12 bucks. To open the box and there was nothing but fried. I went back to tell them I didnt get my fish. Someone claiming to be the manager said they're was fish in the box. But it wasn't it was a waste of time and money. I would like to talk to the branch manager about this because I know for a fact that's bad for business. I'm just Wondering did they steal my fish and eat it. The cook knew they're was no fish.

Very Poor Customer Service ! - Staffs need to get basic training abt how to deal the customers. They were mocking, laughing at customer (Don’t know why they carry this much of attitude) I know its hard to work at the window, that’s the reason I always treat them nicely and more respectfully ! But these girls were really showing up a lot of Attitude ! I am not angry with them but felt very bad and sorry for them for their ignorance!

Aside from the friendly cashier, everything was disappointing. There was a really bad smell when you first walked in. I got overcharged even with the price posted on the menu. I got number 394. I was waiting for 10 mins before they even called out the first number and it was like 377. All I got was a dozen rolls. Not even chicken. 25 min wait. Even another customer tried assisting me with getting my order and nothing. Never going back

GO TO A DIFFERENT GOLDEN CHICK! Terrible every time I go. the employees are to busy laughing and taking them to take orders. Then when they finaly get around to taking your order they rush you to finish your order and rush the food. I understand it's fast food but can you not make a mess of everything. I was missing alot of items and the one gravy that I did get from all my combos was thrown in the box and soiled into the box.

This location is hard to reach due to a school and McDonald’s along the same corner street. With a double traffic light during school hours. Food and outside atmosphere always clean when using Drive thru.

Horrible place. Made an order to sit in the restaraunt and wait for 30 min before asking what took so long for chicken strips. All they could say is we lost your order. No apology whatsoever and the manager avoided me and wouldnt even look me in the Eye even though my refund required his presence. He obviously doesnt care about proper customer service. Be prepared to be dissapointed if you are visiting this location

For the life of me, I don't understand how a place that only sells chicken can get my order wrong every time. I paid for extra sauce which they didn't include, and even though I was very clear about the fact I wanted unsweet tea, they gave me sweet tea. No silverware for the sides. I guess that's why there is always a help wanted sign out front. I really want to like this location, but they just can't get it right.

The employees are Extremely Rude, talk back to customers and have Attitudes. Don't waste your time. We asked for clarification on an order, the staff rushed us to order in drive through. They missed some of our items and when we got off to get the missing items, they asked multiple times if we didn't have and refused to give us our items. The employees in the back were making rude statements about customers (us).

The service was ok, but the food was dire. I’ve been to other golden chicks in DFW and had a perfectly fine experience with the food but at this location the chicken tenders where dry and the breading was extremely crunchy. It was obvious that they dipped the left overs back in the fryer. Not sure how unlucky I am to get the leftovers but it’s certainly lucky enough for me not to go to this golden chick again.

Rude people work here!!!! Was placing my order and they cut me off telling me to drive to the window when I still had more food to order! I then drove to the window and complained they didn’t even apologize or offer something free. A male worker fixed the order I paid and left. This is a fast food restaurant they should at least allow the customer to finish placing the order before demanding to go pay.

Drive thru is decent but to go in to place an order is a little crazy cause there could only be two customers inside and a drive thru around the building. All the cars in the drive thru or gone and you still have another 5 to 10 minutes to wait on your order Always just on kiest. They need help when it comes to the inside real slow. I guess the give there attention to the drive thru

I have gone to this golden chick twice and they take a long time and forget to add the things in my order I ordered the golden tenders and they forgot the bread and gravy, also the bag of fries were filled half way I get more fries at McDonald’s. And I’ve tried delivery but the same thing happens I waited two hours for my order to be ready. Never going or ordering from there again.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at Golden Chick... They got my order wrong and when I asked for the issue to be corrected the employees acted like a product of their environment. An the manager was no better... This experience will make me question the Golden Chick brand as a whole. I'm a shareholder, and have thought about pulling my shares. They should ALL be fired...

The customer service was okay is why i gave 2 stars but this place is TERRIBLE. I waited in drive thru for 34 minutes friday night. They gave me the whole order wrong, which was cold, & i didnt realize until i got home. My drink was hot bcuz they had NO ice. So i had 2 go all the way back & wait in drive thru another 15 minutes. Smh. Oh & it smells like a damn sewage #Disgusted

It was a Sunday afternoon and they didn't have cups, said they didn't have rolls to buy as a 6pc or dozen. Young lady told me she got in trouble for selling 2 dozens by themselves, because the ones in the oven were all they had for the day and the truck hadn't arrived all week!!!

I live golden chick and would prefer it more than other chicken restaurants but im not happy about the drive trough only option. I just wasted 40 min of my day for no reason walking to this place.

Everything here is mediocre. The food, the service, the staff. They do their jobs, but they don't make u feel welcomed. Even though you tell em u wanna dine in, they put your food in a to go box. They seem like all they want to do is "the bare minimum".

Wish I could rate it less than one start. Waited in drive thru for 20 minutes. Their speaker malfunctioned and they could not take my order. When I pulled around to get my food they refused to serve me because they could not hear me through their broken speaker. Worst service ever! Do not waste your time. Dawn was the manager on duty.

This place consistently finds new ways to mess up and forget items for my order. Employees cannot count the number of items on an order to ensure it is fulfilled correctly. The service sucks, but the food is better compared to other xyz chicken sucks. Make sure you pull over and check your bag every time because the employees won’t.

This was a horrible experience for me I've eaten at Golden Chick many times but not this particular one. The food was old, cold, and the rice was nasty. I picked up my food went straight home and.it was horrible!!!! Never again on Kiest Blvd in Dallas Tx.

They try to please you! The best Golden Chick experience I've had!

I was placing an order through drive thru line until I asked for a ice cream, the employee said I had to order inside the restaurant inorder for me get proper service by purchasing a ice cream cone. Makes no sense why I would need to get off when their's a drive thru to place orders. Unsatisfied with service.

My chicken was cold, the fries were cold, the tea tasted like it had been there all day, and they had no ice. Nothing was fresh this time around! The only thing that was good, was the young lady at the counter. Unfortunately, I did not get her name.

I’ve been going to this location over 10 years and never had an complaint. Friendly and great customer service. They are fast pace and will resolve any issues with the customer . I’m actually addicted to Golden Chick and must say this is my favorite fast food chain. Keep up the good work guys! You have a customer for life!

Employees are in the building, but not working the drive thru. Wasted about 40 minutes in line to then call and have them tell me they're closed. Online it says they close at midnight. I arrived before 11pm. There were still a line of cars waiting when I left. Unbelievable. At least come out and tell people or post a sign.

Every order within the 25 minute wait for fresh chicken that was under cooked, missing items and obsured comments with in the management and employee's. Came back twice to fix my order, yet still missed other items . I finally gave up. Horrible service and BUGS!! CHECK OUT THE PICTURE!! Gross... got my money back and RAN.

Order a 6 piece strips and fries and got a 4 piece with a roll and I asked are you sure it's a six piece and he said yes. But when I got home and saw it wasn't but I was too far to go back.

I took my daughter there on this pass monday and our food was fresh and it didn't take that long everybody will have different experiences there it want be the same as others butt for the most if it's not right as a customer i have to make sure they get my order right before i leave you have to make that happen for you

Second visit in recent months and they had a problem with drinks or ice. It appeared they dumped the whole basket of fries in my box but they were soggy.

Had food delivered and had a roach in the bag. When I called to complain they said it was most likely the drivers car. NEVER EVER had that lack of oh well no sorry how can I help etc. haven’t and won’t go back

This experience has nothing to do with the store but the corporation within itself, on a Doordash delivery, walked in due to posted banners outside saying we hiring, I had an interview, hired on the spot, finished the paperwork just to be told the GM of the store ask the Manager to stop hiring, unprofessional.

Food was okay but not exactly what I ordered. The guys didn't even seem to know their menu . Also he wouldn't give me dip for my wings because he said I didn't ask for it . I mean , they did not ask. Where do you go for wings and HAVE TO ASK for dip? lol

The food was hot and fresh. I had to wait about 15 minutes for the roasted Chicken. I was never informed about the wait. I was never told they apologed for the wait. When they did bring my food she did not say anything. Not thank you. Not sorry you had to wait. The food was good but zero customer service

Waited 20 minutes. I ordered catfish. They gave me the catfish and shrimp combo. Ok fine whatever. At least get the sides right people. All that time waited you would think they can pack all food items in the box. Go somewhere else. This location is disappointing. Sincerely, upset hungry pregnant woman

The lady taking orders was being rude and impatient when ordering my food. We told her to give us a second and she talked back. Her name is “Chevette”

Placed an order service was quick but food wasn't fresh at all. The tenders were dry the okra was hard as a rock and powder dry. Sauce was wasted all of my food. Guess they we're trying to soften the stale food. Although the food was horrible the sweet tea was good and service was good.

Horrible service. Picked up a DoorDash order and have to wait 30+ minutes just to speak with someone and then another 30+ minutes to get the food. When I got to the front, they told me an extra 15 minutes because they ran out of what the order consisted of! Waisted my time and my money!

The drink station area was nasty and dirty.. I waited on 6 wicked wings for 24 minutes.. when I recieved my food I asked could I speak to the manager to let her know that the place was dirty. She acted like she didnt want to be bothered. So I will not be going to this location again.

I would say this Golden Chicken needs to train a lot of the other golden chickens on how to cook because none of them food tastes better than this one

They are open til midnight during the week. I came in at 9:20 pm. They were out of catfish. Really? I opted for chicken tender salad. I got my salad- at 9:40. The cashier was eating at the counter. Bunch of unprofessional teenagers. Salad was good but not worth the 20 minute wait

They Hispanic chick in the window now is horrible. And the fact that the food cold for that price is horrible. Just cause your in the hood don’t mean yal need to act like it. Very disappointed.

Totally done. Yes, I ordered everything on the menu 15 mins b4 closing. Was sick 3 days. Jus dont do it n if you do.....no seasoning on the Wicked Wingz (recipe is too hot n definitely not the same as other locations. ) Take my word for it. DRIVE MORE N GET BETTER

Went through the drive thru and drove all the way home thinking everything I ordered was in the bags but I should of known better. What a let down. Do better.

The remodeling has really improved the overall atmosphere. Great food! Super fast service, I ordered and got my food in 1 minute! Great costumer service. Everything is clean and is being cleaned. Free ice cream was also really good. I will definitely return.

The manager Jessica is extremely rude, no customer service skills at all. How she come to be a manager I would never know. How can you train your employees if your attitude is horrible. Shame on you and you definitely need more training in professionalism

Decent customer service however they forgot to include rolls in my order. My total was 36$ which should've included rolls and but didn't. Not only that but also messed up the by not including gravy when I specifically mentioned to out gravy with it.

One of the few places around that allow you to order kids menu item's without kids. For people that are losing weight or gone through gastric sleeve surgery or on a budget 2 or 3 piece tenders with a side and drink for 6 bucks goes a long way.

They think Lawry's seasoning salt makes chicken spicy!! It's just HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SALTY! My chest started hurting after eating 2 of the 5 tenders. Ask for regular or seasoning salt on the side. I haven't been back since. …

Smallest catfish ever. Paid $9 for a 3pc and When i got home there were these 3 tiny catfish in the box. Never again.. Plus they are slow. Didn't have any ice in the machine. No sweet tea so had to get soda. Total waist if my time very upset

I love the wicked wing its the only thing i get. I just hate the long drive through line if you go late when the lobby is closed. and they are very slow and sometimes get the orders wrong. But as long as I go during the day I am good.

The fish pieces are so small, 10.00 for a 2pc that equates to a 1pc.

Their spicy chicken is the best. Hands down the best chicken with only Raising Cane's being a good contender. The only thing that sets this higher than Cane's is the availability of spicy food. Awesome staff and a great atmosphere.

The salad was so delicious. And the employees were very professional and affable. I most definitely will patronized this Golden Chick again! Yum-Oh!

Very good chicken. Just wish they had had some roasted when I went by. They were out. Wasted trip. 3 stars because they never cook enough to last for the day so I got some of the sprinkled spicy wings. They were good too.

It was disgusting the tenders tasted burnt the fries were stale !!! CAN I COME BACK TOMORROW TO GET MY DAMN REFUND ???!!!
