We visited Pokhara during the last week of Dec when there is Street Festival organised all over the streets of Pokhara and it was worth seeing and the best part is our Hotel Golden Lake is located on the same street from where the street festival starts, so its very convenient to walk there. Also, you can see Fewa Lake from the balcony/terrace, view is adorable. Fewa Lake is just walking distance from the hotel. Hotel owner Dinesh Tondon is also very cooperative and he guided us on our travel plans. Would definitely recommend to others and would like to stay here again.

The hotel offers a very good value for the money. The room and the bathroom are clean and well maintained, the sheets were clean, too. The position is very good, in the nicer area of the Pokhara Lakeside, not directly at the main road, but some 50 meters away. The room has a practical rack for clothes, bags, and the like, the window is protected by a mosquito net. The warm water flows all the time. Most of the floors have three rooms, one with a window on a common terrace, a second with a window showing outside, and a third with an own balcony. There is also an own laundry service, at prices similar to those in the neighbourhood, it worked very well for us.

Very Honest Review!! Hotel was very clean rooms were so good and nice comfy. neat and clean bathroom has 24 hr hot shower.Staffs were very So polite and welcoming. We group of 4 were willing to stay just for a day but having so much of good facility we stayed for 3 days here and i must say we didnt found any complaints. So affordable price. I strongly recommend this place to everyone searching for the hotels in pokhara with great morning view and yes Delicious Foods too. Thanks to Hotel Golden Lake for providing a very good facilities.

Excellent budget hotel, we ending up staying here a month. The building is only around a year old, so everything is very new & clean. For only 1200rs a day we had a very spacious, modern room with private balcony, flat screen TV with cable channels, comfy bed, good hot water & wifi. Awesome lake views too. The manager Dinesh and family were very kind & helpful. The hotel is on the north end of the lakeside road which is more of a backpacker area, lots of cheap restaurants and live music bars. Highly recommend this hotel and we’d definitely stay here again :)

I was super tired from trekking journey to ABC. I was searching for good hotel with fewa lake view. The balcony view was excellent. Staffs were extreme polite and freindly. You can enjoy your drink with fewa lake view. Location was prime with tal barahi and many clubs within walking distance. I will recommend you if you want budget hotel with extreme satisfaction and higher quality of hospitality.

I stayed in this hotel for 3days. The hotel staff, room and location all are perfect. Especially I need to highlight the hotel owner and their family members are very kind, helpful and will be available to help us 24/7. The best stay we had in Nepal. We had been to ABC, on the way we stayed in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Of all the hotels we stayed at, Golden lake was the best. Very nice people, with good food and service in place. Loved the hosts! Will definitely go back here if we visit Pokhara again. The price is so so affordable as well.

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Golden Lake. Price for private double room (1 double bed, 1 single bed) was 12$/night. View from the rooftop was stunning. It is very clean and new. The receptionist is an always smiling and incredibly friendly young man who helped us with things like sending mail home, storing luggage, even let us use his personal laptop to make a visa application. We highly recommend the hotel!

The owner went out of his way to help us with anything we needed and made us feel so welcome. So glad we stumbled across this hotel, we truly felt at home here and ended up staying for 1 week!

We stayed here several days after finishing our trek. It was the perfect place to relax and wash our clothes (they have a laundry service) after the hike. We asked to have the room on the top floor and from there you have a super nice view over the lake. The hotel is very close to the lake and many restaurants. The owner was also very nice and helpful.

Super clean, super comfy beds and pillow, best views to the lake, good price , next to restaurants and shops, 2 min walk to the lake, super kind owner, we even practiced yoga on the roof together :) for me best family place I could even found in Pokhara, no doubt I’ll come back here again on my next visit. Very comfortable hotel in pocket friendly budget. Behaviour is extremely nice. Food just awesome like home. Owner is young energetic and well behaved person. He is well educated and have good knowledge. Might be there will be some drawbacks but behaviour is so good that it doesn't matter. I liked the stay.

I would give zero stars if I could. Paid in advance 4 days before arriving to Pokhara and when I arrived they said that the room is already pack. The owner did not even apologize for this inconvenience and was further making excuses that this happens all the time. Worst family run hotel I have come across. Would not recommend anyone to stay.

It's exception to get home like food during travel but you will get here delicious cooked by property owners mother itself. From owner to staffs are very humble here. I would definitely like to stay here for long time if I visit Pokhara again. It's really BUDGET friendly and pleasant stay.

Several issues in the bathroom, biggest one being that the shower head did not work. We were able to switch room next day. We had informed them that we would be staying for 3 nights but after 2 nights they asked us to leave as they had new guests coming. No apologies were made.

The hotel itself is pretty nice. The views are awesome and the staff are nice. Unfortunately the room was unacceptably dirty. We mentioned this at the start and noticed they only clean with a broom. The beds were alright.

A hotel with very basic facility but great service and hospitality. Food is good. You can do cheap laundry, book a taxi, bus tickets and tours here.
