This place rocks! The service, staff, and atmosphere were all perfect. My wife and I hosted our wedding after party at Goodbar over 4th of July weekend. Kenny the manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful in helping us book the bar and karaoke for the event. They had everything all set by the timethat our guests arrived, and it was absolutely perfect. All of the staff were incredibly attentive and ran both an efficient and fun operation. The bar has a great modern dive feel all the while not being pretentious - something I feel you don't see much of in the more posh Point Loma area. I will definitely be back here again, and I can not recommend this place any higher to host any event or party. Kenny was very helpful as well in recommending food options for us to keep folks fed as well while they were at the partty. Final note: the bouncer Aaron was awesome. I have not been to a bar in a long time with a real local feel where everyone is just happy to be there and ready to have a good time. Crushed it Goodbar!

Stopped in here for a quick lunch and after a quick search for good places to eat. Located in a shopping plaza that's easily identifiable from the other stores. Wasn't too busy once we arrived but the lunch crowd did start rolling in later. 

Lots of open space to where you don't feel cramped not too dark in the establishment either. I order the classic cheesesteak with fries and the Old Way Mai Tai. The food came out hot and tasty and the drink was perfect. 

The waitress was very active and always checked in on us. A great place to visit if you're in the area and need a quick bite.

Happy hour offers specials on burgers and fries, chicken sandwhiches, and beer on draft. Nice selection of craft beer with something new and exciting rotating into lineup often. The bartender, Bri was delightful and attentive to ensure that we were never waiting for our next drink. The happy hour offerings were good, but After trying the Aristocrat, I was so satisfied with a true to Philly style cheese steak that I was tempted to stick with that as my go to order, but simultaneouly excited to try everything on the menu. Went on a Friday. Live music was fun; no extra charge. Food was great! Limited menu but definitely good for what was available! And the tab ended up being a lot cheaper than expected. So if you're an alcohol abstainer or a very light drinker, you can have a good time for under 60bucks.

This is a small bar. It's located in a small shopping center. Nice decor & very clean Bartender Jason made us a great jack & coke drink. They had 2 bands playing there that night They do serve food. They have their own food truck right outside in the parking lot. I did not get a chance to order any food to give a review.

How many good things can I say about this bar? immediately upon entering you are greeted by some of the friendliest staff that I’ve ever encountered. Jordan and Marisol are the epitomy of amazing service. One of the partial owners, Tony, is also an amazing person. The drinks are reasonably priced, the air conditioning is awesome, The popcorn will rock your socks and the food will titillate your taste buds. All in all I would say this is a good bar.

Went for comedy night : “Rice and Beans” Crude and funny, comics were pretty lit in more ways than one . All the staff was SUPER attentive and the food from the food truck was delicious! Food was good and the original bartender was great However the closing bartender will charge you for more drinks than you ordered. Then when you call him out on it he will kick you out to make it look like you are the bad guy even though they are the ones stealing from you by over charging you. Make sure if this happens to conact your bank and get the transaction canceled as they will try to charge you for drinks you didn't even order.

This is the best neighborhood bar in town. The bartender Chelsey is so kind and makes the best drinks while also having excellent recommendations if you need one. I highly recommend her margarita! The food is great too! I had a bomb burger and fries and at a great price. Lots of TVs so it's a great place to come and watch the game. I'll definitely be back!

I love this bar! They've done wonders since taking it over for the last few years. The decor is fun, local, and unique. Meanwhile the bartenders are all incredibly inviting. It's a tough location, so they understandibly need to be. I come for Kaylee, stay for the drink specials. This bar pays attention to its local military fanbase and encourages you to support its neighbors food business. Love this place. It's a GOOD Bar!

Well they advertised " Free Comedy Tonight " ! So I could use a good laugh ! But alas there is no one here! Guess I'll go home ! (Oh yea, I dont have one! ) Me and Shadow in my truck-camper. We are still searching for my kidnapped son ( 6 yrs old now!) Sure miss him ! Its been 1 yr 7 months -minus 4 days he's been gone! Not a day goes by that I dont miss him and search some place ! Shadow helps me too !

This place was actually very low key and fun. There were board games and such to keep us entertained but we were already having fun so they weren't really needed. The bartender was a cute guy with a great personality who kept on top of our business for us. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.

Good Bar is a dope little corner bar that used to be a dive but recently got refurbished. They host a Body Positive night once a month with Pire Plus Events I go too and it's super fun. Last time we bought lots of drinks on Halloween and the bill wasn't bad...like too many drinks.

I love this place! I have literally been in here everyday this week for lunch! Like where is can you go for a 12-6pm happy hour (drinks only) and follow it up with a happy hour 2-6pm food menu! Checked this Bar out for the first time last week with my girlfriend. We had the some Philly cheese steak sandwiches that were oh so delicious ! The drinks were good and the bar staff was super friendly! The live music was also great it wasn’t super loud great vibes definitely worth stopping by !

The beautiful and nearly nude (not really) bar tenderesses are awesome, the music just fair, and the Lime Vodka included with Table Service is swill. But it's friendly, cozy, and easy to get to. Just stay away from the Absolute Lime Vodka, it's awful.

Jordan was awesome, and the whole staff was extremely friendly! Was coming in from out of town and even though the Padres were in the playoffs they turned a tv on for my SEC game. Not to mention the food and cleanliness of the place were outstanding.

We hold a charity event for Baja dogs at Goodbar every year. They have a good venue for a small fundraiser event. Their A/V setup is good for crowds of loudish people. Thanks to them, we raised over $2000 for the pet shelter. Thanks, Goodbar!

Jordan is amazing, food is great, atmosphere is chill. I come here often to hang on the weekends and will keep coming back. She’s a nice addition to the team.

Great, easy going bunch of folks & they loved our band playing. "Blue Nickel Gang" the bartender was kind & generous, and the second bartender was also a stand-up comic & had some funny stuff...

Delicious drinks , rowdy crowd ,threatening clients, disrupting all other clients and staff/ bar tender did nothing to intervene - just watched and let his buddy harass others. Never going back

New bar, completely redone inside. They got good deals, friendly staff, and a fun nautical theme (since we're in Point Loma). Shuffleboard, connect 4, and giant Jenga are a plus as well.
