I would like to raise a situation that came to my concern today where a young man was accused and yelled at in front of everyone for stealing tissues, firstly there was no proof or evidence of such incident occurring, secondly such incident did not take place at all. I understand there may have been a misunderstanding however the librarian did not even have the decency to apologise to the innocent young fellow. I strongly disagree with the lack of manners and respect this worker is holding and for the future I would advice her to change her attitude towards students thank you

Despite the notoriety of this library(a simple online search will enlighten you), upon visiting it a few times recently, it's a pleasant little library. Perfect for picking up a bunch of books for my kids on our way home from school. It's got a sweet little section for kids with some soft toys for the younger ones to play with. It also has a free-to-access toilet, which is definitely handy with kids after school! Finally, it has free parking on its premises and it's usually always empty or sparsely filled.

The library provides good facilities and the staff are quite friendly, but they would be much helpful if they try to stop chatters from abusing the facility. Some people would abuse it as they use it for chatting online and others for social meetings, and the amount of noise is quite distracting and annoying for those who want to read. I am sorry for this wonderful place to be abused like this.

Date-8Aug20. CoVID-19 era review. For safety, the library rules are - 1. Adults have to wear masks. For kids, masks not mandatory. 2. At the entrance a hand sanitizer is placed. Use it before entering the library. 3. At a time, one can be in the library for not more than 15 mins. The staff was wearing face shields, but strangely no masks. Maybe it is uncomfortable to wear for long duration.

I am truly disgusted by the way a staff had accused a young man of stealing tissues today, there is a way of approaching such matters but yelling at someone in public for something they hadnt even done is absolutely disgusting and I really hope this lady learns some respect and I would advice her to get a full training on how to threat members

The librarians seem to have some sort of prejudice against teenagers. I got accused of stealing toilet paper, and shouted at! The staff is unapologetically rude and don’t have respect for the people who attend the library, they are willing to scream and distract everyone just for a minor misunderstanding. This is harassment .

The best library ever! The staff are very warm in reception and kind. They are open minded and always ready to help and guide you on how to use the available resources & work your way to success.

The library is decent. Would be nice if the council could invest for Goodmayes library to have another floor for a quieter small study areas and extra toilets.

Being brought up in Goodmayes I used to come here as a child. I bring my children here now. Its a good small library with good selection of books.
