With the possible exception of Mr Clifford, a lot of these teachers were very mean. Like Mrs Brelis. She is the main example. She told my friend Jesse to spy on me and tell her if I was doing something that i wasnt supposed to. But he didn't and Mrs Brelis got stuck into Jesse. And Mrs Coe blocked Youtube so we couldn't listen to music and also watch the Sidemen and similar youtube channels. She also blocked Fifarosters, the pack opening website. They also didn't let us into the kinderyard and they stopped us playing soccer at the tennis court on lunch because it 'wAs OnLy mEaNt FoR uS At rEcEsS'. AND they stopped us playing tag because itwas too 'dAnGeRoUs'. And we weren't allowed to run onto the road and get the handball. But we could go over there with a teacher. WE WEREN'T 4 YEARS OLD! And they made us participate in this stupid thing called music count us in which involved us singing in the hall to a stupid song. And also they didn't let us have the grade 6 panto because 'iT WaS tOo ExPeNsIve aNd wE aLrEaDy sPeNt OuR mOnEy On tHe gRaDe 6 cAmP'. And they didnt let us go behind the white thing at the tennis court. They didn't let us throw rocks because it was dangerous and they also made us do daily pe which was torture and when we got the chance to do daily pe they dropped the stretches. OH YEAH AND also in Mrs Talbert's class my friend Toby (who was in grade 1 there) wanted to do number lines up to 1000 BUT Mrs Talbert wanted him to do number lines up to 10 'lIke EvErYbOdY eLsE'. THE END.
Hope the teachers these days are more kind to the children. I went to this school early 2000s and always was bullied by the teachers. Not a great experience to go through and while one day waiting for my mother to pick me up after work. Waiting in the office all I could hear is teachers wishing that I would hurry up and leave the build. Not good memories to remember as a primary school student over 20 years ago
My son used to study in Grade 1 at this school and he absolutely loved it. It was easy for him to gel in. He absolutely loved his teacher Miss.James and his classmates. Unfortunately he couldn’t continue there, as we were relocating.
Basic. Nice teachers …
