"Absolutely beautiful church"
This French Gothic Revival church is one of the most astonishing in Manhattan. The surrounding landscape is one of a kind, giving the whole site and the school a sense of a European campus. I was lucky to find it open one day, so I took the opportunity. You have to know the schedule so don’t come without checking online first.
Such a nice and peaceful on Sunday late afternoon. I was on the way to get snack, when I saw this church, I had to stepped in and sit inside for a while. I love the architecture, arts and color glass around the church. I don't want to interrupt another people, so I just sit not to deep and listen to nice and wonderful music.
A very impressive church in downtown Manhattan. I have not worshiped here, but have stopped by several times to marvel at the magnificence of this church. Even as a non-believer, I can appreciate the effort that went in to making this beautiful building. I'd recommend stopping by and looking at the amazing interior.
This is one of my favorite churches in town. I love the gothic look and I absolutely adore the garden. Right now they have daffodils flower and the magnolia is blooming. Luckily for us the gate to the garden was open so we went it to explore. Live video is available on my Facebook page …
Absolutely beautiful church. The architecture is a great respite from the blandness of New York City. I'm not sure what era it it, but it reminds me of medieval times. Inside is a good place to go if you want to get away from the busyness of the city, and just want to sit and think.
Simply the most beautiful church in Manhattan. It is an Evangelical Episcopal Church. It is Quiet, Reverant and a beautiful symbol of Christian History. We were there for the Easter Service this year but attended for more than 15 years before we moved away.
An architectural gem to be sure, with plenty of history. But also a spiritual home for me for the past 30+ years. Thoughtful leadership by both clergy and parishioners, genuine community, in depth Bible studies and sermons, have supported
I don't really know how to review a church. The architecture is beautiful and it's in a wonderfully accessible area. I haven't been for service, but I've come by for a few chorale concerts, all of which were great. Acoustics were nice for
Beautiful church, welcoming clergy, and meaningful services. This is traditional Episcopalian "high church" but they have a modern view and do a good job of making the church relevant to today's world while maintaining tradition, and have
Of course the architecture and grounds are magnificent, and the church has a rich history and much to recommend it. But for those who care about internal workings, it’s extremely troublesome. For more than forty years I was a member here
For me the most beautiful church in the city, specially the windows The church has a lovely peaceful energy and atmosphere I like that each bench has a small door, which gives you enough privacy when you pray. There is also the
Attended a full Easter service after being denied entry at Trinity Wall Street (it was full). Ushers and staff were super friendly. Sermon was engaging and resonated well. Looks like a great community and will be returning.
Very pretty. Check out the Jacob's Ladder stained glass window on the left as you enter, and below it the memorial to a woman who gave up her seat for another in a lifeboat on the Titanic. More
Very pretty church, but I wouldn’t consider attending a Christian church that treats an ethical vegan so shabbily when of course she should’ve been fully embraced and seen as an inspiration.
I went on Christmas Eve. I did NOT do anything depraved, so don't listen to the rumors. The building itself is incredible. Even if it was just that, it'd be a beacon to our neighborhood.
The people in this church were incredibly kind to me when I was grieving and needed somewhere to pray and cry. If you want to start giving God a try this is a safe place to go ✨ …
Annual Festive Holiday concert by Grace Church Choral Society was tonight. Always a highlight of the season! Orchestra superb as is the 150 member choir with sensational soloists.
Beautiful structures of Grace Church! Love the gothic design of the church plus the inside design is also a must-see. Historical and very beautiful both inside and outside.
This is a beautiful church with gorgeous stained glass windows and impressive weekend organ recitals. Nice place to decompress from the outside world for a few minutes.
A jewel of Gothic architecture in downtown Manhattan. I love to come here to photograph the stunning courtyard in all seasons. One of my favorites in the city to visit.
Lovely church, I was able to chat some Bach music being played on the organ. Nicely kept and clean. The ceilings are beginning to peel however it adds to the ambiance.
Pretty church! Very Serene inside, free entry but please respect people who are praying inside by not making noise and keeping your phones in silence :)
Love the architecture of this church specially it is surrounded by modern buildings so it radiate beauty to Broadway.
Gorgeous! Religious or not, this place is beautiful. Free to visit when open. Also free audio tour for your phone.
Great afternoon Bach concerts in one of the most iconic Anglican churches in New York. Stunning inside and out.
Extraordinary church. Breathtaking! I went to a variety of events here, from a wedding to a Christmas concert.
Beautiful location just on Broadway. Always nice to look around and enjoy the gardens and architecture
