While I’m a millennial I’ve had plenty of dental experiences to know if the actual dentist is passionate about their contribution to the community or if they are closer to retirement and care nothing about great bedside manners concerning patients. The front desk and administration was very pleasant at this location. The actual dentist at this location was very unpleasant. She asked me nothing about my history or cared nothing about why I was there. I came in due to pains in the upper right quadrant and she barely touched my mouth. She lightly tapped my tooth and that’s it. She didn’t stay in the room for 5 minutes. There was other examinations that could have been completed to determine where the pain was stemming from but she decided not to. She spent no time talking to me or educating me on what the next steps may even be. Her notes indicated that she couldn’t tell where the pains were. LUCKILY I was referred to the Riverside location which was MUCH more pleasant and I’m scheduled for a root canal with Dr Shi. If your insurance only covers this network of providers and you have a choice choose the Riverside location.

First of all I (as I explained to this Dentist & staff)…have a SERIOUS PHOBIA of Dentist.. and have had this since two terrible experiences in my life. I scheduled an appointment to see this provider at the Dunn Ave Jacksonville Fl location.. Dr Pratima Haladi? Not certain of spelling,, this Dentist immediately alienated & made me go right into PANIC MODE!!!!! Even asking me questions in the most horrific & unprofessional manner.. I left her office feeling so much WORSE than when I got there!!!!! I since made an appointment with another provider who treated me with KINDNESS & RESPECT!!!!! Perhaps this (so called) provider can learn a little humiliation and understanding, my opinion, RUN RUN out of that office & NEVER look back, that’s certainly what I did.. A very DISAPPOINTING waste of my time & $$$$$ and by the way I would have given ZERO stars on this review if that rating actually counted!!!!!!!!

Went for crown but needed a root canal. I left in pain! Went back to that dentist the same day and complained about my tooth pain. Was told by staff at front desk, " she don't give pain medicine, so take 4 over the counter motrin or she can call in motrin 800." I said OK call it in! That office never called in the motrin!!!!!! Went back to the Dunn office location for the crown work and again they don't order the motrin for pain. And that's after ask for it. So, I left without paying saying I will pay on my last visit. That staff ran to chase me down for payment. That office called me and said since you didn't pay good luck with getting your crown completed, we won't order anything til you pay. But I could not get pain medication!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY THE DUNN LOCATION!!!!!

The dentist and dental assistant are good at what they do. They take great care of your teeth and make sure you're educated. No problems there. Stars earned are only reflecting them. That front office staff just can't get right. Always some mix up, always a billing discrepancy, always canceling an appointment THAT WAS CONFIRMED. Staff has changed several times in the past 2 yrs I've been coming and they get worse. It was going good for a split second after they changed staff and that one person that held the Forte down left. Lawwwdddd why??!! Bring back the people that knows how to run an office and not break HIPPA laws. Left from Greenburg to another I won't name...now this. Get it together Jacksonville! Good well rounded dental care is so hard to find.

I came to this office and wasn't greeted. Strike one, then I was eventually call to the back to do my exam and she was very rough, she slam the cold vest on me instead of informing me before I am going to need to put this vest on, I was readjusting it and she said I need to put this on, I explain that they vest is cold then after the exam she just walk out the room, she never said anything I was going to give 1 star but I took it back this was so unprofessional. Strike 2. Well the website is making me out one star.

I've never been to a dental office quite as nice and professional. The office let me know as did the dentist that I would need to be seen 5 times from the time the dentist starts my dentures til the check ups to make sure they are fitting right. I've been to dental offices where to have to sit and wait around all day to be seen to get your teeth pulled and then your dentures fitted. I was so happy with your office that I made an appt for my son and daughter. Keep up the great atmosphere you have in your office.

They seem to be unorganized. It took from first appointment August 12, 2022 until Jan. 5, 2023 to get my referral straight with Great Expressions. The front claim that they sent over a claim to the insurance company back in August insurance company never received one until November 8, 2022. My daughter had been going back and forth between Great Expressions and Argus about the referral until she finally got someone to get it straight. It took her almost 4 months.

I'm excited that we made the choice to switch. Lindsay was amazing, her personality & bedside manners were extremely inviting. She made me feel comfortable from the beginning. New review 10/25/2023.. I have an 11am cleaning appt, I was on time. Took Xrays, now still waiting for the cleaning..Its now 11:45. I will have to leave shortly & reschedule...

The young lady at the front desk was pleasant and polite. Everyone that we encountered during my visit was very accommodating. From filling out the paperwork to explaining the process of filing the insurance claims. Also, they went into great details of my expected procedure! They exceeded my expectations!! …

Called today to make an appointment and spoke with Crystal she was so polite and patience with me. She gave me all the information I needed to be able to come make the appointment because I'm actually not an patience to this location. Crystal gave me outstanding customer service. Crystal you're amazing stay sweet.

I am well pleased with my outcome I have never smiled so much in my life and I am so happy and glad that I chose great expression for my dental appointments and procedures I truly thank them all and thank you for allowing me to be a customer God bless I got a perfect smile thank you thank you and thank you again

This place was such a wonderful and pleasant experience for me. Dr. Pratima did an amazing job on my extraction and Nancy the dental hygienist was super sweet she made me feel very warm and comfortable. I look forward to getting more of my dental needs take care of at Great Expressions on Dunn Avenue.

There is no continuity of care. My mom was seen in January for an evaluation to see what needs to be done. They NEVER followed up with her to get her on the schedule. We've called countless times and left numerous voicemails and NEVER received a call back. This is not how to take care of patients!

This place is so awful. The staff was so rude and the dentist literally put her hands all over my face while speaking just pointing at it, completely unaware and disrespectful. This is the second time I come and I thought maybe this time the experience wouldn’t be as terrible but I was wrong.

Thank you for taking care of me. I went to Baptist emergency after my blood pressure was checked because my blood pressure was very high, possible stroke. I'm in Baptist south, will go to Brooks on university on Wednesday for 2 weeks therapy. Thanks again for your help …

Great Expressions Dental Center staff and doctor was welcoming and professional. The work was quick, painful from the extraction,they gave me instructions care kit and I was done, Thanks to the Great Expressions Dental Center for the experience.

Dissatisfied with appt scheduling. I was scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance for noon appt. The morn before the appt, they sent a confirmation for the noon appt. I few hours later, they sent another text reading exactly the same but time was 2.
