Being at Great Hearts for four years has definetly helped me alot. I reccomend anyone who is wishing to enroll their child in a new school to come here. I am extremely blessed and proud of our teachers and staff. All the teachers work really hard to make every lesson enjoyable for the whole class. I love the curriculum at my school, yes it can be dificult at times; but I love challenges and it is much easier to over come them when we have amazing teachers like the ones we have here at Great Hearts Monte Vista. - - - History with Mr.Thomas was probably one of my favorite classes at this school. I had to do this assignment once, but before he handed us this EXACT assignment we had a good discussion of how in the end there was really no "pro" side to slavery. Mr.Thomas never put any student to fight in the position of the "pro" side of slavery. THE POINT OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO SHOW WHY PEOPLE ALLOWED FOR SLAVERY TO GO ON FOR SO LONG, NOT TO APPROVE OF SLAVERY. Estar en Great Hearts durante cuatro años definitivamente me ha ayudado mucho. Recomiendo a todos los que deseen inscribir a sus hijos en una nueva escuela para que vengan aquí. Estoy extremadamente bendecido y orgulloso de nuestros maestros y personal. Todos los profesores trabajan arduamente para que todas las clases sean agradables para toda la clase. Me encanta el plan de estudios en mi escuela, sí puede ser difícil a veces; pero me encantan los desafíos y es mucho más fácil superarlos cuando tenemos maestros increíbles como los que tenemos aquí en Great Hearts Monte Vista. La historia con Mr.Thomas fue probablemente una de mis clases favoritas en esta escuela. Tuve que hacer esta tarea una vez, pero antes de que él nos diera esta tarea EXACTA, tuvimos una buena discusión de cómo al final no había realmente un lado "pro" para la esclavitud. Mr.Thomas nunca puso a ningún estudiante a pelear en la posición del lado "pro" de la esclavitud. EL PUNTO DE ESTE PROYECTO FUE DEMOSTRAR POR QUÉ LA GENTE PERMITIÓ QUE LA ESCLAVITUD SIGIERA DURANTE MUCHO TIEMPO, NO PARA APROBAR LA ESCLAVITUD. -

My kid is very happy there and I love it. They teach Singapore math. Students need to learn a new poem every month. Every semester they learn a new song in a different language!!!. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!
