Park along the Great Highway and walk on Ocean Beach! Or surf. Or have a bonfire and toast hotdogs and marshmallows. Look for sand dollars, flotsam, and seaweed. Perhaps a message in a bottle. Throw a piece of driftwood for your dog. Take off your shoes and run in the surf. Listen to the seagulls and watch them soar on the wind. Enjoy this awesome place!

I parked here. The highway was great. I took a picture. The water was presumably wet. The sand was cold due to cold air. The parking lot was firm. One homeless guy talked of religion. I was afraid to walk away from my car due to odd smells coming from another car. Great place for the kids. If they had a net they could play games.

I love going here. Might not find a parking spot right on the beach but if you park on Lincoln , around 48th avenue there are plenty of place's to park. Or you can park inside the park around the same avenue and walk the block and a half.

North end parking. Easy in and out. Great starting point for a hearty walk to the south end and back. Great views and people watching. Birds, kites, beach volleyball, frisbee, and surfing. Something for everyone. ️ …

Excellent location. Can get full quickly when there are events on the beach or good surfing conditions, but easy to get into and out of.

Don't park here. Our van along with other vehicles were broken into and everything stolen. Cops did nothing even after calling twice.

This is an iconic beach! I love it. Its always fun to walk and hang out for the day, Have lunch, or just to see a friend!

Nice view, but don't park here. Prime spot for smash n grab thieves. Your windows will be broken and your things stolen.

Park here to go surfing and bodyboarding, also good if u like to jog or run.. always parking available, and it's free.

If you want your car to be broken in this is the place to park. Even worst if you have an out of state plate’s.
