Paid £230 plus vat for a roof survey when buying a house. Was given a full report outlining work that needed doing to the main roof including replacing purlins and the flat roof totalling £8940 for the main roof and £8280 for the flat roof. I then had a further 2 surveys done (one by the seller and one by a family friend of mine with 25 years roofing experience) plus a fitter survey of the flat roof and all advised that no work whatsoever needed doing. Even taking into consideration differences in opinion I can’t see how this quote was made with any intention other than to mislead me into paying over £16 000 for works that didn’t need doing. Beware

Contacted this company to come and provide an estimate for a roof repair/replacement and was told that I should pay them to undertake a roof survey and if I went with the job, they would deduct the survey cost from the price. This is the first time I have ever had a trade try to charge me for providing an estimate. When I responded back saying it was a price on the job I was looking for and not a survey, I was told they're too busy to even consider the work. If you don't want the work or charge for providing an estimate, make this clear to your potential customers and save us both wasting time.

After trying to arrange a number of roofers to come round. (With no luck). We were recommended Billy by a neighbour. From the phone call, he asked us to email them. Once emailed he quickly booked us in for a quote. He came on time and was very polite. After showing him the issue he got on the roof and sourced the main problem and repaired it there and then. He gave his advice and findings on the very old skylight. We are very happy to have called him and will be sure to contact him again when the time comes. I would certainly recommend this company. Although there was an understandable delay due to Covid and bad weather, Billy and his team were swift and thorough in repairing our roof and all of our guttering. Tony and the team did a fantastic job for us on our grade II listed townhouse roof. From the moment Billy arrived with his 'drone' to survey the roof it was clear we were in the presence of someone who knew his stuff! When Tony arrived to carry out the work and made a more detailed inspection the fault was not as extensive as first thought and the quote was amended accordingly. The team were extremely friendly, informative and consulted us at every turn. The work was completed in a very satisfactory manner and I would not hesitate use them again.

Very happy with the repair from green roofing company. After hiring another “roofer” to fit a vent tile to the bathroom. It came to our attention that it was not installed as it should of been. Billy quickly gave his advice on what needed to be done. Needless to say Billy replaced the vent tile and re connected the extraction pipe behind. We would most definitely recommend this company to others and we will certainly give them a call if we need them again.

Guy came round and inspected the internal and external roof damage. Left saying they had everything they need, and they would send photos and a quote soon. Only heard back from them weeks later after repeated prompting, and even then it was only to send me a couple of blurry pictures. They have still yet to tell me what their assessment is, or provide a quote. Waste of time. Now having to find someone else to do it. Avoid.

Very efficient and polite team. Extra work was needed to be done which was not possible to indicate from initial viewing. Did a excellent job in replacing the garage flat roof which along with the insulation which was the extra work required. Am confident that the garage is done to a high standard. Left the site tidy - would recommend.

Had my main roof and bay roof replaced along with new fascia’s and guttering. I am very pleased with the work carried out. Rude and unaccepting of customer feedback....I would not use this company again...and to top it off they put add ons onto an already top money quote...avoid! Plus its still leaking so 2.5k down the toilet as we now have to get in new roofer!!
