Two and a half hours in a bus jam packed with people with no AC and no consideration for customers (or human beings for that matter) whatsoever. How can a company possibly allow a bus to run as functioning when there’s no air conditioning in the middle of summer. There are children aboard the bus and elderly people about to faint. The bus made a stop in Brunswick, Georgia and the bus driver didn’t allow ANYONE to get off the bus to get some fresh air. I called and made a complaint and the woman I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending. Put me on hold for 45 minutes so I can speak to a manager and ended up hanging up on me. There’s no way in hell I paid $170 for two tickets to end up sweating and trapped on a bus like a prisoner. I will be pursuing this fully until I get a refund because this is absolutely unacceptable, shame on you Greyhound!!
Poor service from Atlanta Georgia the Security was using profanity beyond his job duties until I said he needed to be Fired. When I did get on the bus the driver was having problems and we didn't leave on time. We was told once the driver got to Jacksonville the bus would be serviced. Got there and was told the bus was going to be cleaned. Thinking the bus would be serviced I was hungry so I went to get me something to eat. While in line I didn't here my bus being called an I missed my bus. The speaker system wasn't loud enough that I could here it at their diner. In very upset and now I had to pay an extra $20 to get another ticket. I pray I never have to use there service after this again
I started my trip in Pensacola, FL at around 4 or 5pm. and arrived in Jacksonville, Fl. just as people were heading out on the road. The terminal had been my first stop in a city larger than Pensacola in almost 12 years. Originally from Chicago, Il, this was a slight reminder of that maybe of why I left. I left Chicago headed south to New Orleans, LA, then eventually to the sunshine state where I call home now. No more winter.(i like the snow, just not minus 35 degree weather or the long, long, frigid dark. Jacksonville, FL is a nice pace to visit, and return to sleepy Pensacola. I hope that you like, comment, and subscribe. I've got a lot more boring reviews of boring places. J/K
Took a bus from Fayetteville , nc to Floida 1. Drivers shortage, scheduled to leave at 1am didn’t leave until noon the next day 2. Loud music playing during the ride no head phones, 3. Smoking in the restroom, 3 12hrs to drive 300 miles , just to long to sit , will try not to every do a gray hound bus trip again and would advise you to really think long and hard about it on by the way a the bus cost $149.00 train cost $81.00 the plan cost $136.00 all would have been better then greyhound on I didn’t enjoy this mode of transport
I travel a lot. THIS is one of the select few Greyhound stations that are kept clean, immaculate. . The women's bathroom was clean. Stocked. They have modern seats that are technologically advanced, offering many opportunities to plug in & charge your phones & other devices at one time. Under the seat plugs that light up (blue). As well, there are several plug-in outlets on columns throughout the seating area. Has a restaurant area & vending machines.
This how I wish the Greyhound station in Savannah Georgia was set.up. This station has free wifi, every set of chairs has usb ports and electric outlets so you can recharge your electronic deef ļvices. Savannah? Not so much. Who is lying here? Savannah bus station is a virtual dump compared to Jacksonvilleg. In Savannah, we have vending machine fjilled with garbage. In Jacksonville. Theyn have a nice cafe that produce very delectable dishes.
Decent for a greyhound station midday. Just asked.. They are open 24/7. Has food and drinks, restrooms. Don't come without a ticket to orlando. Rome2rio said they had buses hourly. Not so, i will have to wait til 6am...not happening when megabus is right across the parking lot. Lots of plugins to charge up. Appears clean. Not sure about the overnite occupants, may be alot of homeless seeking reprieve from the heat.
This Greyhound station is as much of a cluster F. as the one in Savannah. The whole process of figuring out where to go and when and where to board, is a disaster. Just as in Savannah, I watched passenger after passenger walk around confused and asking questions. On a positive note, at least this station has a small eatery and not just vending machines.
I literally only had 10 mins to try and get food because the bus driver was late I go up to the counter where one of the workers just walks off and never comes back I kept saying HELLo Very loud and she completely ignored me tried the vending and still couldnt get snacks because I needed change I hate rude workers its your job why would u not do it?
Half the time it smells absolutely awful, like sewage is backed up in the bathrooms. Last time I got off the bus here and walked in, I got sick to my stomach from the smell of sewage. The side shop is run down and the whole station looks a bit beat up in places and generally dirty. Unfortunately it’s the only greyhound bus station in town...
I had a lengthy overlay at this facility. They had outlets between every 2 seats, which was super convenient. The seats were padded, making them more comfortable then the typical metal seats. The bathroom was clean. There was also vending machines as well as a food concession stand open certain hours. Overall, this facility was great.
The staff is generally cantankerous and unhelpful. They act as though it's not their job to assist people when customers are confused and rushed to find their buses. Paying customers should not be treated as if they are a hassle. Food service is mostly awful and overpriced for old, dried up items or cold stored deli sandwiches.
I wish I could give zero stars. Very lousy business practice selling non refundable and non transferable tickets. I will never do business with greyhound ever again. Advice. Make sure you can make the trip before you buy the ticket unless you want to pay double the price for your ticket. This is truly a company of thieves.
1st time riding greyhound, an 8:45am schedule time , they took off at 1 pm , my sister ride them again 8:45 appointment, they took off 11:45 am , I think this company has no leadership what so ever , why they enjoy wasting people time , do not care about you waiting, it was a first, I m sure it will be a last one too
This place isn't too bad, the only thing I would say that's a problem is the screen. To clarify, the screen demonstrates when your going to depart but it doesn't actually give the accurate times or gate so it ends up confusing many people. Otherwise everything is fine the employees are nice and helpful.
Don’t ride greyhound. They will rob you of your money. They have no sympathy for their customers who have purchased multiple tickets. A real stickler company. Ride Amtrak, Mega Bus Or Red Coach. At least they will try to resolve an issue. This is the worst company ever. I didn’t want to rate it 1 star
Greyhound bus no 6382 no shocks on bus felt all the bumps in road whole bus makes a loud rattle noise when hitting any bumps really horrible ride. I took this bus from jacksonville fl to the virginia bus station. Check the bus number before purchasing tickets. You will be in misery the whole ride
You can tell they try to keep the station clean as it should be. There’s a lot of homeless people walking around, some asking for money. Some I saw littering with no consequences. I have to give the workers credit. Their are a lot of distractions going on in the terminal. God bless & be safe!
The bus station itself isn't bad, Greyhound service is lacking. I shouldn't have to wait a full 24hrs for a connection to a major city 2 hours away due to your bus service being late and of course no partial refunds; just expect the patron to waste a full day waiting around for the next bus.
If you are forced to get on the Greyhound one thing you need to know is you cannot carry a weapon but nobody gets searched at any bus station I've ever been in so if you feel the need to go without weapons just know that everybody else around you will be f****** crazy that is all ride safe
My experience was awful for a first time user. Came across very rude people and no help at all. Too many stops. Was late the last leg of trip. Did have one good driver a woman but don't know her name but her attitude wasn't professional. I will not recommend or use greyhound again. Sorry.
Employees seem like they could care less they didn't properly tag my mother's luggage so it got lost and she didn't get it until the last day of her visit up North so she went with out her clothes for 8 days . And don't get me started on the discrimination at the Atlanta Greyhound
The worse bulbshit can exist in the world! Dirties terminals, dirties, olds and umcomfortables buses, staff and drivers rudes, impolites, buses always delayed by hours and hours. they lost one of my luggage and when it appered they stole my celular phone, my shoes and clothes ...
I had to go to Orlando, bus was departing at 2:05 PM. Well, no, now bus is supposed to arrive at 6 PM to Jacksonville. I cannot wait that long, I had to look for another (super expensive) option, and they even weren’t able to give me a damn refund. What a joke!
This place is a wonderful upgrade from the old bus station. I feel safe when i am here. The seating area is so comfortable. This feels like an airport not a bus terminal. Excellent architectural job. The food was delicious. The staff was very helpful.
It's like most any other bus stations and train stations. Not too much assistance by employees, they were pretty grumpy and easily annoyed. This was also the day before Christmas Eve, however. Large crowds, seating was nearly full, bathroom
Can’t review this any lower. Driver is over an hour late. Likely to miss the connection, meaning my son will be stranded in Atlanta (no scheduled bus for 12 hrs). Worst part is, NO ONE in customer service is able to say anything other than
Nice station food is good also the workers in there, but the workers at the customer service leave your attitude home or out the door we don't travel to deal with the attitudes if you can do the job go find another one please …
Was pleasantly easy to get to. Being in downtown Jacksonville, with all that heavy traffic, I was able to park infront if the building and get out from there with ease. Took roughly 15 minutes coming from the Edge if Callahan, fla.
Super helpful as it was my 1st time ever on a bus they help with walk throw and explain it to me . Even let me take food and drink .. also I was really far long in my pregnancy bus driver told me let them know if anything happens
Greyhound is the WORST BUSSING SYSTEM IN THE UNITED STATES AMERICA IN THE WORLD. Very BAD and Unpleasant customer service, Greyhound is NOT GOOD VERY BAD SERVICE BAD BUS DRIVERS NOT CLEAN UNSANITARY BUSES SMELLS LIKE URINE
Greyhound has absolutely gone downhill. Last month the bus was 2 hours late. Today the bus broke down and we have been waiting for 3 hours. Communication is poor. You call the main number and.nobody has a clue. Stay away!
I had 5 big heavy boxes delivered.. I sent them from Oklahoma where they didn't even offer me help or a cart.. Whereas Jax had a cart and helped me load em in my car!!! Customer Service level Most Excellent!! …
There's usually two buses leaving one in a.m. and one in the p.m. my experience this time I have to wait till 11:00 p.m. with nothing to do. My experience this time was about a two on a scale of between 1 to 10
Staff was clear on directions, knowledgeable about the area, helpful with my bag, and friendly and polite. Definitely enjoyed my experience, cant wait to have to use them again, absolutely recommend them!
I booked two seats to Atlanta, but the driver yelled at me and the station manager forced a passenger in the seat next to me, which I paid for and booked!!?. terrible behavior and mistreatment.
I was extremely dissatisfied with my trip on the Greyhound Station because I was charged an additional fee of $126.90 for getting a reissued ticket because the bus was late to my destination
Very nice, clean place. Plenty of room. Chargers built into the seats. Unfortunately they do not have free wifi, and that I'd their only downfall and the only reason I only gave 4 stars.
Nearly a brand new terminal. Very well lighted and laid out. UBER rides nearby, for curbside pickup. Construction across the street for expanded monorail access throughout Jacksonville.
No one who worked here had a clue wat was going on nor did the drivers have a brain we play musical buses for 2 and 1/2 hours this place killed my Greyhound experience never again ever
Newly renovated and clean. Very easy to get to via public transportation. The food here is pretty gross, and the coffee is like water. I also paid five dollars for a hand sanitizer.
It would bw nice to know when and why my retuern trip to springfeld MO was canceled. It seams that the whole system is failing. I would expect that grayhound would cease to exist.
The guy helping to make a line for the bus was aggressive while approaching us, saying we didn’t seat had to leave luggage on line if we decided to seat. No need to be so rude.
Please for the sake of your time DO NOT get a Greyhound anywhere! My layover lasted more than 5 hours because they couldn't find a driver. First and last time using Greyhound.
Greyhound station is Clean and a Great way to get around other than by trains , cars or planes. You should at least experience riding a greyhound at least once in your life.
The greyhound in Jacksonville is so nice and clean. All greyhounds should look like this. ATLANTA please take notes. I need all greyhound stations to keep that same energy.
Very nice they have a place where you can grab something to eat great customer service and will help you if you need information Megabus is also located inside the terminal
Everyone that works here is wonderful. People need to get used to the fact that the mask mandate is a federal law while on transportation and in transportation hubs
Went and said I missed bus had to rebuy a ticket instead of just changing date and time. While bus was still there cause next day it took over 15 minutes to leave
Terrible location. Alot of drugs deals going around in the surrounding areas outside next to the bus stationed. Most of the workers are rude and unprofessional
Clean amd safe Duval county really stepped up when it was put there. Plus the public transit. It has plenty of security which is always needed in Jacksonville
New Station is nice. Impressive in comparison to the old Station. They have onsite Security. The Building's exterior lighting is bright and covers most areas.
It’s a relatively small station. It’s very easy to find departures and arrivals. The ticket counter is also easy to find, as it is basically one open room.
I like Megabus I recommend it to everybody cheap fast friendly people free Wi-Fi very comfortable round trip ticket for me from Florida to Georgia$22.50
I had never been to a station before but had to drop my daughter off so she could return to artillery school in OK. It was clean & people were friendly.
The attendants that work here are absolutely rude like they think they better than others it's just sad, people are on vacation not in jail smh
Have to pickup customers here every now and then. Clean and helpful staff. Have snack bar and vending machines. Phone chargers at every seat
If You Want To Be Stuck For 4 Days In A Row & Get Told 2 Times That It’s Not The Right Bus That’s Leaving But It Is, Choose Greyound …
Needs better signage indicating where the drop off is and where to park. I honestly dont know if there are legitimate spots to do this.
One of the cleanest bus stations I've ever been to. Changing locations and sharing it with JTA makes for a much smoother experience.
I haven't even got started yet I can't even purchase a ticket because the agent doesn't know what she doing lord help these people
Clean and attractive. Mainline access. Mass transit. American restaurant. Restrooms. Vending. Downtown locale. Adjacent parking.
I wouldn’t ride the greyhound for the world. It is the slowest way to get across the country. And the bus only has one bathroom.
Middle 2 partly cloudy. Sad that the lower income struggling .. struggle again at Atlanta. Hope Admin & Staff get it together..
It's a clean spacious place for folks to travel on or by...just need more cheaper rates and be more affordable. Overall good
Unsafe environment the workers demanded for everyone to have on mask to take theirs off and eat while checking in customers.
More clean and alot of space also cross the road IT'S Jacksonville transportation authority (JTA) iit's look alot better
Much better than the previous downtown hub, and I certainly enjoy all the upgrades, added security, and extra amenities
The bus hit a truck and didn't stop and the bus was 45 mins late taking off and 1 hour late getting to my destination.
So much better in new building the old one was trashy dirty and atrracted people asking me if i wanted to buy drugs .
They overbooked the bus, so we had to leave three hours later. People her in Jacksonville do not enjoy their jobs.
Lobby cleaner than expected, bathroom was definitely public, overall not bad. Speaker quality of announcer is bad
Took megabus in ti this station . The ride was nice and easy. Met dope people. The station is clean and well lit.
Greyhound station is where the megabus now departs. Average, small, clean and well lit. The food was good too.
Cannot get a ticket price online without giving personal information which is none of their business.
Way better than the place in Atlanta GA way way better I give this Greyhound it's rating it deserves
Although the bus I arrived from was about 12 hours late I gotta commend this stop for being modern
the new terminal is beautiful. and the staff was awesome. every one departed on thrir bus ontime.
Don't book morning buses, they will delay ur trip by 2 hours and their buses r also pretty cheap
Big, clean, has vending machines, good seating areas and good lighting. Big TVs and good help.
I didn't feel very comfortable inside waiting area. It's business as usual in Jacksonville FL
The people were real nice had no problems I was in and out and people were very polite kind.
Absolutely the biggest waste of money ever. The bus was 4 hours late and I ended up übering.
STAFF is ok and helpful..Tickets prices affordable and busses looks clean..Enjoy your trip!
Staff was rude but facilities made up for it, recommend getting food before getting here
Very clean. The food served is ok. The staff could use some customer service training.
Nice and clean but some employees are from hell the way they treat some customers
Picked up a friend. Easier to get to and more parking than the old bus station..
Staff is knowledgeable and place is clean. Security person on site all times
Very clean location, not to crowded and staff are really nice and helpful.
Very Very Nice!!! Staff friendly, very helpful, very clean and quite!
Not bad. Could use a dining area and food service in my opinion.
It's a brand new facility, very nice and conveniently located!
Nice, clean, and very well lit up in the early morning!
Well organized , good service. The place looks dirty.
Mobbed by homeless as soon as I walked out the door
On time great coach drivers! Thank you so much!
Very clean, nice helpful people I love it.....
I would never take a bus for transportation.
Station was fine. Riding the bus not so much
