I had a fantastic shopping experience at Lidl a while back, and I can't help but share my positive impressions. First and foremost, the store's cleanliness and organization were top-notch. It's evident that they take great care in maintaining a neat and well-arranged shopping environment. But what truly stood out was the affordability and quality of their products. Lidl offers a wide range of items, from fresh produce to household essentials, all at incredibly reasonable prices. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of their private-label brands, which often rivaled or even exceeded name-brand products in taste and quality. The staff at Lidl were also incredibly friendly and helpful. They were readily available to assist with any inquiries and made the shopping experience even more pleasant. Lidl's commitment to sustainability is commendable. Their focus on reducing waste and offering eco-friendly options reflects a responsible approach to retail that I truly appreciate. In summary, Lidl is not just a store; it's a shopping destination that combines affordability, quality, and sustainability. I highly recommend Lidl to anyone looking for a great shopping experience without breaking the bank.

The car park was very full when I finally went out to the shops after lockdown, this week I'm disabled & had my 18 month old granddaughter with me & was quite annoyed to see a young Male drive in in front of me only to park up in the only child space left, all the disabled spaces was also filled, when I spoke to him he grinned & pointed out that he parked in a child space not a disabled one. I asked him where is his child was & he said in lidls with his partner ( yet he went in from the main rd ) I then asked how old his child was he replied 5, I then pointed to my son in law who was carrying his daughter over to the shops & said that they're for babys & toddlers not for children who are old enough to walk. I have wondered many times in the past why don't they have parking patrols in this shopping area as too many ignorant people are parking up in spaces designed for people who need extra space at the side of their car for getting babys out of car seats or disabled people needing to get into a wheelchair or have problems with manoeuvring out of their cars, theres enough shops for them to pay for patrols to check on cars parking with disabled badges or have a child car seat in their cars.

Once again Halfords prove their worth. Displaying on-line that they have stock in the Chadwell Heath store that was again untrue. We were shopping for a bicycle for my wife and were open to 4 or 5 brands and types to give them as big a chance as possible. All of which Halfords say they have at the store on their website. NONE of which they actually had. Yes they have quite a few bikes...mostly kids and men's, but only 5 for women and mostly mountain bikes. There was lots of staff, but had no one ask us if we needed assistance, so had to try the bikes ourselves to choose an alternative that my wife liked. Many of the bikes had no details on them; no frame size, no wheel size, no details of what you get for your money. Just a brand, model and price, sometimes just a price. We decided to leave after 15 minutes of being ignored by staff and went down the road to Cycle King and put a deposit down on a bike, who had excellent service in comparison to Halfords. If you want a bike don't get it from Halfords unless you want to be disappointed.

If i could give this retail park zero stars I would. The parking in this place is an absolute scam. My sister and I went shopping there on 12/11/19 with her 3 year old daughter. We went Christmas shopping in Home Bargains, grocery shopping in Iceland and then for something to eat in the KFC restaurant. As you can imagine this took some time. At this point we were not aware that there was a time limit on shopping and eating at this retail park. Eight days later my sister received a parking fine of £100 for being over a 120 minute time limit. At no point did we leave this retail park and she and I spent a considerable amount in the shops. I think its absolutely disgusting that you're penalised for shopping, surely these shops rely on customers shopping in their shops? Neither she nor I will ever visit this place again and we will advise anyone we know not to shop here. I am also going to post warnings all over social media for these shops to advise people not to go there. The car park management is an absolute take on.

Nice stores but the rip off car park charges for over staying the 90 minutes is making me question why I go there! Especially as it's usually the queues getting on and out of the car park, added to the queues in the stores that make you go over time. My last sting was on new years eve with a £100 fine! I didn't get the original ticket and appealed but they just ignored me and threatened me with court proceedings if I didn't pay the late charge amount. G24 just have a licence to print money! Some smart person at G24 or other parking management (fund raisers) figured out that changing all the car parks from 3 hours free parking to 90 minutes is a much better way to make money!

  • Amir Raheem

Nice little Retail Park. Apart from a couple of days ago I went to the same retail establishment a year or so ago to locate some windscreen wipers for the VW from Halfords. Halfords had an advert that said they would put them on for free but when I inquired about this installation they tried to charge me £15. All you have to do is depress a button, slide the old windscreen wipers off and replace the blades with the brand new ones and they'll click into position. Sounds like somebody was trying to earn some extra beer money.

Please beware of the parking time limit! I just got a letter of £100 fine for exceeding the 120mins parking time limit. I didn't notice the limit and would definitely not go there if I noticed it before. They should have provided options for drivers to pay for a longer parking time when necessary. 2 hours are definitely not enough if you need to shop in more than 1 shop there, not to mention to eat in the KFC.......a very awful experience for me especially when the cost of living is rocketing now.....:-(

  • Kabil A

Grove Farm Retail Park have signed a contract with G24 ltd to hand out £100 fines to everyone with cameras who exceeds 2 hour parking. Even by 8 mins. We made the awful decision to buy our weekly shop and eat in at KFC. That was one expensive chicken. G24 are typical mobsters collecting fees and giving threats of debt recovery. Grove Farm dont give people the option to pay to park and are happy to receive rent from retail outlets while further supplementing their income on the backs of paying customers.

  • Steffi Kraushaar

I just want to warn everybody to check your allowed Parking time! I received a letter in September, telling me I parked there too long in June & because I didn't react to the 1st Letter I have to pay £ 160 NOW. I was do shocked, I never received a Letter before !! I wrote to them to let them know there was no 1st Letter, also that I'm ill & can't pay that Ammount, but they don't care. I now have to pay in Installments which is very hard for me, but they don't care. So please be careful.

  • Abul Nasir

I went to halford for change my number plate and got tickets for over staying pass the 90 minutes they allowed, 100.00 pounds for one number plate cost me 25 pounds. Phone them up explain my situation, they said it's our policy obey by it you be ok, but going over 10 minutes it's a fine I need to pay. Now you tell me how unfortunate I was, so time manage there if you want to shop. For me it's the last time I'm going there.

  • Muhammad Haque

Retail Park has got Halal Drive Thru KFC, Home Bargain, Lidl, Iceland and Halfords. Ample parking spaces including disabled parking spaces! Free Parking (terms and conditions apply)! Dedicated Parking Bays for Halfords car services only. Large Signs by the entrance makes it visible from outside and easy to find the car entrance. Retail Park needs to improve its cleaning routine though!

  • Rayna Dariah

I used to go here to do my monthly shop in Lidl and home bargains and then bite to eat in kfc now nd again. Won’t be going there anymore due to just receiving a parking fine for £100. They’ve lost business with this restriction if they had displayed this notice properly i definitely would not have gone there knowing what I was going to do. Shame on the land owners.

  • M Ahmed

Extremely difficult to shop at this store, lack of operational checkouts makes it a very painful experience to shop here. Staff are generally not very helpful and aloof, long queues at the off open checkout and usually have to ask them to open other checkouts. Other than that a normal Lidl store, with usual products, n But not really recommended for a quick shop.

  • Caroline Mccarthy

What a dirty unkempt place this is. The car park is awful. Rubbish everywhere. No cash point. No public toilets. Lidl looks like a third world country supermarket. Home Bargains is so clean and the staff are excellent. Iceland again very clean and tidy and the staff are excellent. KFC yuk yuk. It's mostly their rubbish flying around the car park.

  • maz islam

This is an absolute nightmare of a place to get in and out of. Traffic is chaotic the car park is too small for the amount of people coming in and out. Entrance and exit is difficult so this causes a gridlock. It took me longer to get out of the car park then the amount of time I spent shopping. Irony is it wasn't at the peak time either.

  • Haylee Smith

Just recieved £100 fine for being 37 minutes over allowed parking time. But when doing christmas shopping with a toddler in tow and going to different shops on the retail site and for something to eat 2 hours is no where near long enough. Will not be shopping here again. Would rather go somewhere I have to pay to park. Pathetic

  • S Bes

Be careful of these fraudulent carparking companies - they are thieves! They sent me a ticket stating I'd parked there the WHOLE day, which I hadn't lol luckily I have live cctv footage of me coming back home on the date and appealed it to them. They soon dropped the charges as they had no leg to stand on …

  • Lacatus Elvira

I have kids,I go shopping there every week, is not fair to have a time limit of 120 minutes to park. How can I shopping in home bargains, Lidl and Iceland,in 120 min? On top of that after all my shopping with the kids I want to go KFC to eat ,but there is really time for that? No because the parking is limited.

  • Tom Thorn

This car park is not disabled person friendly. They charged a parking fine for being Disabled To confirm the parking policy is 120 minutes. They charge you £60 for overstaying. The Blue badge allows for 3 hours due to disability but these people are heartless.

  • vikram kumar

Excellent retail park as can get all my shopping done in one place. Negative points I would mention is the constant homeless people chasing you around the car park for spare change. Parking bays are a bit tite so park further away if you like your doors without dings.

  • helena pombares

Nice place for shopping. It's a pity that with so many shops to visit and buy from with a wide variety of products to choose from the parking time is 2 hours only!!! Other than the parking time it's a place that I would recommend for groceries and house shopping.

  • Eugene Bell

Lidle The security man in there is always looking a the woman and making them feel uncomfortable my wife hates going on her own. The other star are rude Dw gym fantastic people Farm foods it’s ok good place to shop Car park is always ram get there early and leave

  • Wasique Khan

Decent shops. Watch out for parking time limit as you could be stung if you overstay your welcome!!! Not nearly enough time to visit all the stores.they have cameras watching your car enter and leave so there's nothing you can do other than to stick to time

  • TIna Franklin

Went into Halfords got my car checked and topped up with coolant excellant friendly service- check was £15 coolant was £12.50 with plenty left for next year. Well worth it in my humble opinion. Also visited Iceland fully stocked and in an out super quick

  • Casey Corrall

Fed up with the begging crackheads in the car park. They see a lone woman and target you, begging for money and telling you they are homeless although they are not. Although they are always polite, it's still annoying being followed back to your car.

  • Sadia Shahrukh

I am there on daily basis. My kid school is across the road. So daily shopping from lidl and monthly lunch with kids from KFC. Good small place for a little time out. Only need new road markings. Drivers very badly driving in that small place.

  • shehnaaz makati

Nice & big place with a wide variety of fresh vegetables & fruits at moderate prices. They also have a huge section of packaged consumer products & a vast variety of plants and tree saplings in their plant nursery outside in the parking area.

  • RISE SAFELY

Nice and convenient, apart from the lidl customer service infect thy don't have customer service, when I asked for customer service thy give me a number and I have to make call. I would have give 5 stars because of Lidl I cut the 2 stars.

  • Maria Glacken

Car park is always full of rubbish especially by the trolly park! Walked out of Lidl so many people in there no social distancing at all. Icelands and home bargains was fine. Visited the KFC mainly for the loo was very clean in there

  • Udhayabanu Periasamy

This is very convenient place if you are in Chadwell Heath for shopping.. In addition to the shops in this retail park, there are others near by as well.. Testo extra is in walkable distance from this place Good parking available.

  • Camille Spence

Always great. The owner and his team does a wonderful job to assist and educate the customers so that you are clear about the product and the quality you are getting. Shopping there makes you feel like you are part of a community

  • S A

This retail park has a late night drive through KFC which is great for late night munchies. Also you have lidls,Iceland,Home bargains and Halfords all these stores are of good size and stock great range of items. Free parking.

  • The Bobster

Contains Halfords, Iceland, Lidl, Home Bargains and KFC. All good versions of those stores. Large free car park but be warned: it's very busy and every time I've been there I've witnessed some atrocious driving, so watch out!

  • Thomas Ley

Got a good range of shopping but it is mostly all food. Halfords is right there as well which is handy for me and there is a decent place to park up bikes. If not though they don't seem to mind parking outside Halfords.

  • Marzi Izram

This is my favourite place to go. I get my toiletries from home bargains, my wine from lidl, frozens from Iceland and then chicken wings from KFC for my journey home!! Good parking facilities and close to where I work!

  • Rohan Rowson

Good Variety of shops, although having Iceland and Lidl, 2 grocery shops, would be better if there was a different shop. Tons of littering which I'm not a fan of. Pathways are thin and dangerous. Otherwise it's fine.

  • Kamran Javaid

Decent little retail park, have visited many times for the drive thru KFC and halford store. Layout of the carpark is easy to get around, loads of parking available and is free for 3 hours which is plenty of time.

  • Ahmed Lawal

Lidl, Home Bargains, Halfords and KFC...I mainly go to the Halfords to get my bike fixed or to buy things for the car. Reasonably easy to get in and out without major issues..open, clean and well maintained.

  • Not Just A Number (Tony)

Went to Halfords there only to discover they are closed until further notice, went to the gallows corner store instead. Where I got what I went for. The staff there were polite, helpful and friendly. …

  • Mark Reeder

I quite like this location. Limited number of shops and most people turn round in under 20 minutes. Unlikely to use the KFC drive thru but if driving someone who's into that sort of thing, it's an option!

  • Margaret McInerney

This is a nice place to shop, always clean and tidy with plenty of staff filling the shelves and ready to help. Unfortunately they didnt have any cat collars in stock so will have to go elsewhere.

  • Kayleigh C

Great shops but be aware if you spend over 2 hours you will get fined and the notices are written very small in the car park. If you was to visit every shop and maybe eat in kfc you'll be fined.

  • Reg Gie

3 grocery/homestores/Halford and a halal KFC. Don't come during school run hours as car park gets very busy with parents coming in and out. As there is a primary school situated right in front.

  • Simon Haynes

Fairly convenient, the only problem is that you have 3 Supermarkets that more or less sells the same thing plus then a couple of other places. I miss the Days when Staples had a store there.

  • Martin Harvey

It's good if you live near by or are passing the retail park , pop in to buy a few items a home bargains store had a varied selection of items in store, also Halfords , Iceland and lidl

  • Big Apple

Can usually park but some days can be very very busy, mostly weekends. Only a few shops but having Lidl and KFC there makes the parking hard. Great to have a home bargin local finally.

  • The Seeker

New Home Bargains opened up here, which always have items at a bargain. KFC with a drive through and Halfords for all your car/bike needs. Large car park and a few bins for your waste.

  • Martin Denham
