We absolutely LOVE this place! The kiddo LOVES the #7, the hubs LOVES the Taco Salad and I'm all about the nachos ❤️ Their drinks are absolutely to die for! You honestly cannot go wrong! (FYI no this isn't like Taco Bell. This is REAL and so good!) BEST place to eat in town!

Best Mexican food I've had in a long time, top 3 all time at least. Everything being made fresh, in house makes it really stand out. Delicious salsas, best tortilla chips ever (they make them as well). We loved the nachos, chile verde (pork), and the carne asada was decent, though could be a little better if the didn't chop it so fine and put a little char on it. Server, though very busy, was very attentive and definitely a hard worker. Absolutely will return if I'm ever back that way again!

Very surly waitress. Didn’t know whether they served flour or corn tortillas. We ordered water and she brought bottled water without explanation, charging extra $2 without disclosing up charge at time order was placed. Food was low quality, particularly on the fish and shrimp taco’s. When we left, the surly waitress said, “I just work here,” when I commented about the ip charge for unordered bottle water instead of tap as is served at 99.5% of Mexican restaurants. Don’t waste your time or money there. I wonder if the positive reviews we saw were bogus.

Sign says authentic Mexican food. Not even close. Ordered the Fried Carnitas chimichanga with sour cream. What I got was a burrito with roasted bland pork roast. Chips stale. Salsa? Got my sour cream halfway through my meal. Watermelon aqua fresca, somethings very missing. $17 plus I shared a $2 gift. Service by the millennial was awful. She hung out on her phone at the counter. Better off buying sonething at Dollar general to eat.

We stopped in at Guera's Tacos on Sunday, May 21, 2023 whilst traveling through. It was about 1:30PM and the place was pretty much empty. I ordered chicken tacos and my wife ordered cheese enchiladas. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was very good. I'd recommend to anyone looking for good food in Boise City. Plus, it's a locally owned restaurant.

Amazing and authentic! We stopped for lunch on our drive back to Canada and were pleasantly surprised by this place. Our waitress was a sweet heart and recommended the drinks made in house, Horchata and the spinach one I can’t remember the name. She even topped them up on our way out! Nachos we can not stop talking about, they were perfect. Tacos were so good and filling, a nice choice of toppings. If we ever find ourselves back in Oklahoma, we will be sure to stop by!

We made a quick stop for some tacos and what a little hidden gem! We asked them to add lettuce and tomatoes, they totally hooked us up. Overflowing with chicken, peppers, lettuce and tomatoes. Nice place, very clean, I was here on a Tuesday and had the whole place to myself. I had the chicken Chimichanga and it was perfect. Stuffed with shredded chicken, rice, and cheese, with a lightly crispy shell served with beans and rice. Oh, and they have a salsa bar. The large parking lot is big enough for a big rig, good place to stop on those long hauls.

The only issue we had was finding it. The sign on the building is small and no sign at the street. Glad we looked a little harder for it!

A short walk across the street from Loves truck stop in this quiet town, I wasn’t sure how big the burritos were so I ordered two to go and some chips and salsa. One burrito was plenty. Very satisfied trucker and I’ll definitely be back when my drive takes me through here.

This was a good find in a near ghost town! Decided to try it since my only option was yet another subway sandwich. Chips and homemade salsa arrived without asking. I had Fajitas Mixtas which was steak, chicken, and shrimp and fajita veggies, beans and rice. Loved them! Couldn't finish them, had to get a box. Good meal for $13. Clean and tidy place with good food.

Food is excellent. Simple Mexican has something for everybody. Family friendly. Large parking lot. Very close to the highway. There is no alcohol. Loving staff. I had the tacos. They were excellent. Steve had the chicken chimichanga. It was good size it was very expensive.

Delicious stop for lunch. Tried some of the tacos and all three were outstanding. Lots of meat in each one. Hubby had a burrito. Again loaded with meat and tasted great. The service was excellent. My only regret is that we are driving through and can’t eat here on a weekly basis.

The perfect road trip stop!! Fast service, great tacos, and friendly people! The pollo tacos were SO good and they had good salsa too! Definitely recommend eating local instead of a subway or McDonald’s road trip stop. Go to Guera’s!

A short little walk from across the Loves Travel Center here in town (4 minutes). I had the tacos (8 of them). The tacos are assembled with double tortilla and are about 3 inches round.
