I went to Gumdale Pharmacy to get day and night cold and flu tablet. I asked for their recommendation to see what is the best for Cold and sore throat. One of the staff recommended takeing 3 tablet Famciclovir at once and you'll be all fine. Since it sounds too good to be true , I asked "are you sure?". She replied “The over-the-counter ones are just vitamins and not effective as what I just recommended”. So I bought what she recommended and came back home and took them as she instructed (all 3 tablets at once). After I searched in Internet I realized she made a mistake and gave me tablet for Cold Sore, which I didn't have and I didn't need. I called Gumdale Pharmacy and had a chat with pharmacist. she asked me to come back to get the right tablet. So I drove to Gumdale Pharmacy again, No apology whatsoever for their own mistake and they charged me again for Sinus and Cold tablet very disappointing

The pharmacist, Paul at Gumdale Pharmacy is one of the most professional and caring pharmacist in this local area. Nothing is too much trouble for Paul …. recently during the omicron wave it was recommended that people buy an oximeter to check their breathing capacity. Paul was only too happy to try and track one down for me after I had rung over 20 chemists who had sold out because of demand. Paul then waited at his pharmacy after closing hours so my son could collect it when the order arrived. So wonderful to have a kind, caring and professional pharmacist providing all our pharmacy needs at Gumdale.

Wow - what a horrible human! I called in here on 6/1/22 to pick up something as I passed by. While there I witnessed people asking for RAT tests which could not be supplied (like everywhere) with the customers being rude and aggressive to the staff, but the staff were lovely and polite. What horrified me was the boss/owner I assume, ringing a bell at his staff like they were servants, and appears to treat them horribly. I won't be entering this pharmacy again. I pity the staff that have to put up with this, they were friendly and polite despite this treatment.

What a delight it is to find such a personalised pharmacy experience tucked in the pocket of Gumdale. Staff are so friendly and really take the time to understand your needs. They always go above and beyond to provide options and offer suggestions that would suit. The pharmacy is also wonderfully stocked with such a thoughtfully curated range of gifts like beautiful wool ponchos and children’s toys that are so well priced. It’s easy to access with plenty of car park space to be found. I highly recommend a visit!

Never a pleasant experience in general. I phoned to order some surgical masks. I was quoted a price when I ordered surgical masks over the phone and went to collect the said product. I was shown one product when in-store that stated surgical mask. I came home to check my bag to find a cheaper NON surgical mask. I believe this pharmacy is profiteering from the current pandemic.

The owner and staff are great at this pharmacy. You do pay more than going to a larger chain but they really know their stuff and give you personalised service. It’s sad to read the bad reviews as I have never found that to be the case. The owner clearly works hard to keep this small business open. Support them if you can!

Great pharmacy. I have been coming here for 16 years since moving to the area. The staff are helpful and friendly and Paul, the owner, has always been fantastic. It adds a really nice touch that you are remembered and greeted by your name. Highly recommended.

I really like this pharmacy and will drive past others to go there. Most of the time, the owner Paul is behind the counter. He seems like a really genuine guy and very knowledgable in his field. Thumbs up to this business, I felt it needed to be said!

Service went well above anything I could have expected, did everything they could do to compensate for doctor who couldn’t even put a provider number(amongst other things, on my prescription! Really appreciate your efforts on my behalf!

I was there this morning and treated so rudly by a staff member. I should of left the product and walked out. So if you want good service Do Not go to that chemish shop at Gumdale Pharmacy.
