$3 tacos - $2.90 rip-off Guzman y Gomez has a very limited menu, not that that's a bad thing, but there's very little difference in their menu items, burrito, enchilada, nachos, etc. it's all the same stuff. However, my reason for a poor rating is their $3 tacos. Don't get me wrong, I quite like their burritos, but unlike other fast food outlet 'cheap deals' - eg. a $2 cheeseburger, you get a regular cheeseburger only cheaper, not so with the $3 tacos. You get punished for ordering this menu item by receiving the stingiest tacos I've ever seen! (and I've been to Taco Bell) A teaspoon of mince, a half a teaspoon of cheese and a smattering of lettuce. All of these ingredients barely make the top of the taco! Don't bother with their $3 tacos unless you're a kid with limited pocket money. Do not recommend the $3 tacos.

My sister and I were here tonight to order burritos and drinks. She also bought chips. We knew the food was overpriced but still went with it anyways. When she gets her burrito the beef inside is raw and not cooked properly, and the chips which were meant to be fried were served to her cold (also the raw beef burrito she specifically ordered to be in a medium, but she was charged for and given a mini even after saying she didn’t want a mini). She was so disgusted by the raw meat she actually spat it out into the paper bag the food came into and still refuses to eat her replacement burrito the restaurant gave us in fear of it still being raw. She is still in tears and has had a really tough day and I guess the raw meat was the straw that broke the camels back. Will not ever be using the franchise again sadly. This incident gives me trust issues. Also the name of the worker who made the burrito was Claudia.

This store has way better service than the King William St one, the staff here are actually quite friendly, efficient at making my orders and consistent. Foodwise: Taco flavours are good, especially with the lime! (it makes it feel fresh), however, I would say that the portion of the burrito can be improved and made bigger, it's quite a fat scam for a rice wrap of $13.20 with no addon. Would rather spend that money on something more value on the menu, like tacos or nachos. If the size of the burrito is improved, I'd give it five stars. Overall, a good store with good quality service. Will come back here again.

Honestly so mad and dissapointed in this restaurant, like the staff cant even read an order properly. How can you Make an order wrong twice like how stupid do you have to be. I asked for no cheese on all my tacos as im lactose intolerant but they covered it all in cheese even the remade order. Learn to bloody read. Quick update tried the food again a year later to see if they can redeem themselves and guess what they got my entire order wrong again. Spent $56 on food that was legit half the size it should be and missing most of the ingredients i paid extra for and completely wrong. I honestly have no idea how this place is still operating and remaining open.

It was my first time visiting gyg at gouger st and I was very satisfied with the service I received. I was served by a young woman, I believe her name was Amar. She was very friendly and customised my food to my liking and made sure to consider my dietary needs. I took her recommendation and went for a mushroom nacho fries with a vegan mayonnaise which tasted really good. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a good, quick Mexican food. Will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Great set up. Centrally located near the Central market in Gouger Street. New shop. Everything is very tidy and clean. Its big, open and inviting. Staff members are very friendly. They took the time to explain me the menu and found them outstanding. Overall the service was brilliant. The food itself however, less than impressive. They were very salty, looked and tasted less than average. I did not finish mine. Would go back there to hang out with friends for the location or the settings and might order a drink or chips, but definitely not going back just for food.

Good Mexican food with vegetarian options, affordable price in prime location, smack in the middle of Chinatown. The seating is nice and clean, it's not too crowded so you can come for a casual date or a catch-up with friends.

There are vegetable and mushroom fillings to choose from which are fully vegetarian. When we came today they were out of the mushroom option, however.

Bad customer service. Unprofessional stuffs. Gave me soggy fries and an exceptional amount of small portion and refused refund. After I asked for refund they said they don't know how to do it and made me wait till their manager comes back. I'm with icecream that I bought and it's getting ruined. How it's logical that only one person in the store knows how to do refund ! Ruined my whole evening

I ordered a medium nachos, but when I tasted it, it had no spice at all. There was hardly any cheese as well. In fact I couldn't find the cheese! I was hoping for a cheesy spicy experience, but sadly no. The staff were pleasant however and the atmosphere was cool.

Very small portions for the price. Regular size burrito is like a small and the salad only filled half the box. Some amigo was roaming around in the kitchen without uniform kissing one girl and eating from the food being prepared.

As much as I like GyG, its been a while since ifeeel that theyr losing their touch. After my last visit, I had to come here to make my say. Quality and quantity, both were hard to find in a bowl that I got. And also, it was completely the opposite of wot I actually ordered. no wonders why a *Mexican* is on a Mission here..

Being a local I ate here wayyy more than I should have.... Almost two thirds of the time the entire order was made wrong, and now the only good item on the menu has been removed (mushrooms). GyG is now dead to me and pretty much everyone I know. R.I.P mushrooms.

Did a quick stop to buy some churros here at Guzman Y Gomez at Gouger Street. Their restaurant has deccent space indoors and outdoors so its a good place to visit. Their churros are nice but I would have wanted longer ones. :-) Their Dulce de leche dips were excellent to go with the churros.

Usually love GYG but with onion skin, tomato stems and cold beans filling my food, combined with rude/standoffish service this was a disappointing experience. First time I have ever not finished my burrito.
