I came here 4 times since it opened. The first two times food was amazing, I got the breakfast burrito and tacos and they were so so good. The second week I came back again, I got the big breakfast burrito and it was only okay, but had to wait for 20mins even though there were only 3 customers at the time. Went this morning again and bought breakfast burrito and I had to wait for nearly 20mins again, the manager was very nice to offer me free drinks to apologize. But then when i ate the burrito there was no hash brown, it was pretty cold too, the bread was very chewy, and there was very little of tomato. I can see the potential of this store, as long as they keep the quality of the food consistent all the time, not 1 day amazing and the other day bad. Staffs and manager are very nice, however the staff needs to be faster as I can feel that they are mostly trainees.

I think this will be my last GyG for quite a while. The Staff were friendly, the store was "ok" levels of clean.. but the condiments were individually capped with plastic lids and tiny, so you're adding to the plastic problem if you want some sauces to go with your stunningly average burrito, which is smaller than I remember (and this was a large burrito I ordered!), and was full of unseasoned bland beef, mushy rice, and tasteless beans. Enemy had a burrito bowl thing and it looked...ok? Those 2 with a single coke Zero cost 30 bucks. Sorry GyG, you're not that good at all. Just add this chain to all the other degraded chains serving shrinkflated and overpriced food. Disappointing to the max.

These guys are majorly sloppy DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU’RE WORRIED ABOUT FOOD ALLERGIES. Twice out of two times I was given the wrong order that would have made me sick. First time I made really sure the burrito would have no guac, even told the guy I was allergic to avocado, take a bite and there’s guac. Wanted to give benefit of the doubt so went back a few weeks later ordered shredded mushroom burrito (I’m vegetarian) and there’s beef on it instead, even though the sticker says mushroom. More fool me for not taking the hint first time. These guys are churning out orders and not taking basic care with customers’ dietary requirements, even allergies. Edit: just to lol at their pathetic generic response. It’s not feedback, it’s a warning to others.

Visited Marrickville store first time and won't be back. Guzman y Gomez is always been a safe bet for a meal and I had no idea it's even possible to mess up burrito that bad. It was just full of black beans and white rice (only sauce seems to come from the black beans) and about four-five small pieces of chicken (I ordered spicy chicken burrito). Restaurant itself looks good, but yeah - if you want good burrito I would recommend visiting some of their other shops.

Bunch of headless chickens.Train your staff to pick orders correctly, it's annoy as hell to watch them triple check orders and steal food from other bags to fill in orders when I can clearly see my food is ready. Train them to use a marker to mark off the items in the bag! You are adding a extra 5-10mins for order for no reason and making me want to never pick up from this place again. Also helps if you have heat lamps since you are taking so long to screw up orders.

I went GYG Marrickville, but were no happy with the amount food, I took just the photo for the quesadilla and my burrito, but I bought a nacho fries and bowl as well but the amount was like a children amount which wasn’t good because the cost was normal but the amount like a mini, and the burrito was more wrap, we have gone to GYG different location and is the first time that this happened because always the amount is like a normal amount for that price.

This place has become my go-to in marrickville, very convenient, quick service and decent food, can be a bit pricy compared to other options and serving size is a bit on the smaller side, but the consistent quick and reliable service and very nice staff has made guzman y Gomez my pick when it's time for lunch

I really enjoy the offerings at GYG, so was glad to see one in the area that has a friendly team and gets food out fast at a high standard (have had disappointing experiences out west). The dine-in space is limited, so recommend ordering takeaway. Have been lucky with on-street parking in the evenings but can imagine it'll get busier and harder in the warmer months.

I had lunch at G&G Marrickville today for the first time. The service was fast I ate in and the food was at my table in less than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, the lettuce in my taco was crisp and crunchy. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauces yummy. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommmended!

My family loves it, all the items from the menu. Great to finally have one restaurant in the inner west. My son loves his kid burrito everytime. The only thing we didn't like is that there's not toilets and there's just a few tables. Probs just an excuse to drive up and eat it in the park. Thanks heaps GyG

Guzman is the best fast food we have in Australia. If you want to eat healthy, you can eat healthy (and it’ll taste good). If you want to indulge and eat something rich and fatty, you can too. Tons of vegetarian and vegan options, tons of gluten free options that even someone with the most stringent of diets can still eat here.

We ordered 7 regular burritos but got served mini. The chicken fillings inside was bare minimum. It used to be so good in other store. Bland in taste, the only taste i had was of the rice inside. Sorry but not worth the money at all.

Check your takeaway orders after buying and leaving the store. Noticed only when arrived home. They deliberately added little amount pulled beef in my nachos to save costs as usual and rip you off. Paid 15 dollars for nacho chips and some melted cheese. More

A cozy Mexican restaurant, the food is delicious, the service is excellent and the reception is wonderful from the staff, especially the polite and friendly young man, Juan. All the best to him and to everyone.

Had an issue with our order due to a human mistake, the staff and Edward were so accomodating and kind. They fixed our orders and made us feel as ease. Food was delicious and fresh!
