This is one of the branches in the city. It's a good shopping experience. The international brand has a lot of fashionable items keeping in with the current trends. The quality of the items are great and they do stock a wide range of clothing, active wear, underwear, shoes and accessories. The store is quite big with two floors, the women's clothing section is on the first floor and stocks a lot of new items, as well as lot of sale items which are the last of the sellers, especially at the change of seasons. The prices are not low but the prices are competitive in relation to other stores. There is always someone of the floor to assist and there are enough tills open for paying so the wait in the line is not too long as the store gets really bust. Overall a good shopping experience as they have good clothes.

If I could I would rate it zero. They honestly need to make sure that the ladies fitting room is operational, this nonsense of sharing a fitting room with men is uncalled for. Today I went there to buy a few items and had to use the fitting room. 2 minutes in, some random guy tried opening my curtain into the cubicle I was in. I had to shout that someone was occupying it for them to finally leave. Like it’s not bad enough that we have to share a fitting room with males there should at least be someone monitoring and controlling the usage of the fitting rooms. This is so unacceptable! I will surely not be using that fitting room until they make the female one operational.

For the 1st time I finally made a purchase. I am pleased. However because of COVID the dressing rooms are closed, so I have to buy and try. Being so tall, I was in search of full length pants. Ask the sales rep and she had no idea where I could find any pants for tall ladies. I happily settled for a beautiful blouse and black jeans. The store is full of sales, so I breezed through the store cautiously, not wanting to overload my credit card or luggage. Customer service was kool. This is very important to me. Oh I was so amused to see a tanned shopper with no shoes. shorts, wraped scarf and a long sleeve pullover. It's winter here, but it doesn't brother her. Lolol

I've been trying to purchase 4 mens sweaters at over R350 for our therapists at our charity - for over a week. I was told stock with the sizes we require was being delivered. i left my contact details - no response - I've tried calling the 0860 number and the Waterfront H&M store - daily for 4 days. RING ring Ring RING....... ARROGANT CONDESCENDING VOICE - WHICH STORE WOULD U LIKE MAM? waterfront please but pls....... Very disappointed about their service, my daughter was inconvenient after purchasing clothes and the transaction was successful, she was told that, she cannot get her clothes bcs the money is not reflecting on their side. Is now two weeks without refund, went to the bank to get the statement, and the money was taken. Im not happy at all, my daughter did not attend the event bcs she was inconvenient, there was no clothes for her. Very disappointed

The service in this store is pathetic. There's always either just one (most of the times) or two people on the till. One would think a store of this calibre would treat customer service as a priority but sadly it's lacking in this department. I have addressed this with a manager on several occasions and clearly my concerns are not being taken seriously. It really spoils what shouldve been a pleasant shopping experience.

Trendy shop that started as cheap but are expensive now. Wide variety of clothing for everyone, kids, men, sport and women. Also a variety of homeware. I normally shop at H&M only sale time. They have one of the best retailing sales during the year. Great staff members always willing to assist customers. Always clean shop too. Keep up the good work H&M. Came shopping here the other day for clothes. H&M closed the fitting rooms, the sales lady advised that i purchase clothes and fit them on at home first and return them if they didn't fit. When i did come back, the sales lady refused to refund me! Her attitude was revolting in general, she didn't even care if i was about to spend my hard earned money at H&M !! I will never go there again

I have been going to this store for years and always had a good experience. Love the quality and variety of the clothing, but the shoes not so much. They often have a sale, more so at end of season which always thrills me! Also love the sportswear section, I have found that they are the only H&M location who stock sportswear in Cape Town. What's that about?

One of the busiest stores in Cape Town. Has a great selection of clothing and homewear. Trendy clothes at an affordable price. It can be quite busy and difficult to get service, and a little chaotic. Otherwise a good place to shop for women's, men's and children's clothing. Also has a homeware section unlike other H&M stores in Cape Town.

The pricing is reasonable and the quality is great for the price. The shop had a wide range of clothing, from formal wear to sports wear to basics such a plain shirts. The changing rooms could be maintained better (the reason for a 4 and not a 5). The staff are helpful when asked.

Got everything I needed except shoes. Great store, affordable options and good quality clothing but barely any ladies shoes. This is not because there was no stock left but because the shoe section is literally a metre wide set of 3 shelves. That was so dissapointing.

H&M allways was our favorite clothes store in The Netherlands, and it still is in South Africa. We have to go to Capetown though. Of course each atyle is its own, but we like it. Affordable and stylish. Fitting room is open again afyer covid rates are down now.

Very suspect quality. Shirt ran after the first wash, colour didn't hold. Another purchase had a random chunk of fabric attached to the collar. Have no idea how it was cleared for retail. Ignored on social media when I made an enquiry about it

Trendy clothing at a great price. Not THE best quality, but it's more than adequate for what you pay. That being said, they do have their premium lines which are quite expensive but are top quality. The cut of a shirt is always good.

Ok so besides one or two employees, I have to say that the majority are plain LAZY!!! Trevor is just AMAZINGLY, don't have to ask for the extra mile, goes out of his way to assist, and, with a smile!! Definitely Management material

It seems that the Cape Town branch receives the eurpean LEFTOVERS from last season, or even a few seasons before ? The choice is miserable and in their ocean of T-Shirts from Bangla Desh, you can't even find a basic white one.

They keep removing items from shelves one day and then place them back another. Saw something I wanted and went back the next day to buy it and it was gone. Yet, when I returned a few days later it was back on the shelf.

Very well organised store with woman's range at the bottom and mens, kiddies, and home range on the second floor. Very affordable and always a sale available. The staff is a different story, unprofessional and rude.

I love H&M, but the one in Cavendish is not nice to shop in, no one to serve you and if there is staff they rather watch you like you going to steal something, just have a dislike in the store in Cavendish.

Good shopping experience, however the changing rooms may need better curtains as they do not offer enough privacy as they aren't big enough, other than that small problem I'd recommend shopping here.

I just wanted to use this as an opportunity to acknowledge the security guard at the entrance of H&M. She makes the experience so pleasant and lovely from the moment you’re entering the door.

The shop is conveniently situated in the Waterfront's Mall. There is a nice array of clothing and home goods on sale. We bought some items that were on special. I will recommend this shop.

Walked into the shop for the first time today, and was so excited, certain tops were pretty reasonable, and got a pair of jeans for a steal. The lady at the counter was really friendly too

This store is huge! Especially the men’s department is amongst the largest I’ve seen over the world. Staff is friendly, except the ones at the cashiers desk... a smile would do a lot ;)

This year's men's clothing range is totally uninspired & boring. However the H&M bedlinen range is inspired, but the rest of their homeware range could do with some work.

The staff service is average. The clothing selection is average too. But they always have many quantities on display. One can encounter sales or clearances when lucky.

Well presented store with easy access to all areas. One can return bags of old clothes to gain discount vouchers. I did not like their men's suits - too scruffy

This H&M store offers many clothing options. Came in very handy for grabbing a last minute hoodie to survive the unpredictable Cape Town weather.

Large variety of woman's clothing. Good quality and good pricing. Store was clean. Was, however, hoping to find a larger maternity wear section.

Every single time I go to H&M for either recycling clothes or to buy clothes I wait up to 15 - 20 minutes in line or at the till.
