In January 2023 I contacted H&R Block to see which appointment type I should book as I had some CGT issues to discuss. I never heard back even though this was a quiet period- I then went online and booked an appointment on a whim and met with David the manager of H&R Block Daw Park. During our appointment I explained my situation and David appeared completely lost and appeared to have minimal understanding of cgt , I had to keep reminding him his calculations were wrong. In my situation I owned 50% of an investment property that was recently sold- David was completely unprofessional asking if I had recently gone through a break up. I responded No.. I owned half the property with my mother (not that this is any of his business). David needed to clarify with his colleague regarding this which was fine and he advised he would speak to her and call back first thing on Monday and we could go from there. I never heard back from David or H&R Block even after emailing my personal documents on the day of my appointment as requested. Services were unprofessional and substandard. If you need a knowledgable accountant please look else where.

I wanted to get a better understanding of tax return. Given very little infomation. Had a account named David, he didn't seem to know what he was doing and had to ask me how to spell "Mechanic" for my occupation. I do not recommend coming here, waste of money and bad return.

the number 1 thing about Daw Park H&R Block the ease that the team there gets thinks done, the apointment, the tax agent Maria is Brilliant and the price and the return has always been great. 10/10

Same as last review, went to hr block daw park a few weeks ago, only to find out today (with me calling up to enquire about it), that my tax return hasn’t been lodged.

Did my wife and my tax returns here for the last 2 years and impressed with their knowledge of tax rules. They help maximise our claims and are efficient at doing so

Not impressed, first week of July 22 completed tax return chased up a month later to find it got misplaced and hasn’t even been lodged yet.

Put my tax return in 2 weeks ago, never got paid from it, instead it’s a government change now, won’t be returning

Have been using them for years, have never had an issue and look forward to continuing to use this H&R Block.

Got a standard tax return here and the price was average.
