Before my experience this afternoon I loved this gas station. The slushee are amazing and normally the employees are amazing! I purchased tacos here this evening and didn’t get what I paid for. I got all the way home just to come back up here for them to not give me my tacos. The young lady behind the register stated that she didn’t ring me up for it. Now she referred to a tiny screen that’s on the register. I explained to her that she should’ve repeated my order back. I’m upset because I left home without my wallet to even purchase the tacos i thought I already ordered. I’m on my lunch and I’m heated . I always come to this place to get tacos and the slushee. I asked for a supervisor and they told me that the supervisor isn’t here. I asked could he call and he couldn’t even do that. I will continue to report this place because that could’ve been resolved with just giving me what I ordered. She was quick to take the money but didn’t think to repeat the order. The older guy that works the register usually repeats my order. Maybe she’s having a bad day idk but anybody that works in customer service knows that you should try and resolve the customers issues before the customer leaves unhappy. Now I’m skeptical to even come in and order if she’s behind the counter. Or I’ll just ask her to repeat my order as she should’ve done in the first place.
Overcharged on First Visit, Credit Card Skimmed on the Second. This shiny new H Express Chevron gas station/street taco business looks nice, but in my experience it may be a criminal enterprise. On my first visit, the clerk attempted to charge me almost twice the marked and placarded price for some beverages. I chalked it up to it being a newly opened business with an inexperienced employee. The clerk wouldn't honor the normal, properly marked and advertised price, so I took my business elsewhere. I decided to give H Express Chevron a second chance today. I made a purchase with a chipped debit card from the same clerk. A couple of hours later, I got a text from my bank - they suspected fraudulent activity. Upon review, H Express Chevron had made a small test transaction on my card, followed by a very large fraudulent charge. My legitimate, undisputable transaction purchase did not appear on the list. I have the receipt. So, there are two potential crimes - one for the large totally fraudulent charge to rip me off and another by the clerk who must have voided out the legitimate transaction and pocketed the cash from the till. I hear they have good tacos at H Express Chevron on Golden Triangle - my advice is to just pay cash!
I just had some fantastic Honduran food here. I've never had it before, so I asked for one of each item on the menu even though they didn't offer a sampler plate. They were very accommodating to my request, and every bit was delicious. Also, I talked to the owner about the credit card concerns that someone mentioned in a previous post. He explained that early on they were having some trouble getting their systems and vendor pricing to match up. The vendors were bringing in the items, putting a price in the aisle, and then putting the price in the system for checkout, but that price was sometimes different. Sometimes it was more expensive than it should have been, and sometimes it was less expensive than it should have been. This made for a few confused and upset customers. He always tried to correct the problem when he realized it. He also told me that they accidentally gave free gas to a number of people because they pushed the wrong button. I didn't have any issue with my transaction, and I would expect that was just part of their growing pains. Definitely check it out and ask for the green salsa!
Outstanding service and great tasting food!!! A few days ago I came in around 5:55pm not realizing that they close the food section at 6pm. The kitchen had no problem making a California burrito, tacos, and pupusas - all delicious. About 10-15 minutes later, another customer showed up, also not realizing the time, and wanted food to go. Although the kitchen was "closed", they still made his order. Now that is customer service. I also saw the comment about some people getting overcharged. They have corrected that problem. Too bad people did not comment when they got "undercharged" or not charged at all as it was in some cases. So, if you want good food or you need some good gas, this is the place. By far one of my favorite gas stations in the DFW area.
I stopped in for a loaf of bread and a cherry pie. She rang it up and I saw $6.47 on the register and thought it was a mistake. NO mistake, the loaf of bread was $3.99 and the pie was $1.99. I put it back on the shelf. I'm all about convenience but $4.31 for a loaf of regular white bread is a shameful commentary on the man with the pricing gun. Their gas is higher too so if you HAVE to stop just get a gallon or 2, don't go inside then fill up down the street.
I came for the first time to try the food and it didn’t disappoint me. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant inside the gas station. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing; I tried the pupusas, so delicious, they melted in my mouth. Absolutely the best food. Not to mention the cleanliness of the store. Highly recommend!
Cleanest gas station with the nicest owners. Their kitchen is to die for, authentic Mexican food that leaves you wanting to try more. Their soda fountains are ALWAYS clean, we are sodaholics and we come here almost exclusively because their cleanliness and friendliness is unparalleled! And great prices. Definitely visit next time you find yourself in the area, even just for a dinner stop!
First to be fair tried 3 things... 1. the street tacos 2. the crispy tacos 3. the pupusas. All bad. Not one of theses things were good. Very greasy no flavor what so ever. This is in no way mexican food better off eating at taco bell. Not worth the price either. Wanted to give them a try based on the reviews but there is no way these are true. Spend your money some where else.
This gas station is always clean, the employees are always kind and respectful, and the vibe is just chill all around. However, my biggest reason for coming here is the kitchen inside! By far my favorite is the potato, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito (with some of their green salsa), but I’ve had almost everything and have not once been disappointed. Everything is so good!
This place impress me with the service and the great food that they have, the Latin Fusion on the street tacos and that empanadas are hands down one of the best I try in the area , the cleanest in the restroom and out side is very good for a gas station, this place is excellent for a quick meal with a restaurant flavor, I definitely recommend
The oil quality is and the attached restaurant offers various items with amazing food. We ordered tres leches, pupusas, and ice drink. They are amazing Best of all, the environment looks pretty clean and comfortable with a great number of seatings. I love the colorful tiles as well. …
Newly built Chevron gas station w convenience store. Comparative to other gas stations and 7-11. Everything is new and clean. Coffee bar looked impressive. Hot dogs are on rollers but not clearly obvious which ones are regular, bratwurst, or beef and cheese.
Went here for Tacos , I ordered the crispy tacos and they were absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend. Food is located inside the gas station. The station is very well maintained and you can tell these owners take pride in their facility. …
I don't usually leave comments on stores but H Express is NOTABLE! Best street tacos in town, hands down. The owner is an amazing, faith-filled man and I plan to be there for at least brunch and second lunch! HA.I love this place!
Food is disgusting!!! Terrible and didn’t even look edible. More like dog food thrown in a papusa and they won’t let you use the bathroom unless you purchase something…gas apparently doesn’t count either. Ridiculous!!!!!
Been in 3 times, been overcharged each time, owner/mgt just makes up prices even when they are posted. Good tacos but he charges extra for salsa. There are better honest choices near this station won't be back.
Great gas station! Pumps working perfectly and are clean; mens restroom was extremely clean, store is well organized; and I’ll be back to try the restaurant!! Highly recommend!!!
Excellent street tacos and burritos! Clean, nice music. Not what you would expect from a gas station. Definitely worth a visit. I will add this discovery to my regular rotation.
I had the street tacos today and they were greatness. Going back tomorrow for the burrito and can't wait. This is also the cleanest gas station I've ever seen. Great work guys.
I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the food here! The rice was clearly made in a rice cooker and was rubbery. I also paid extra for potatoes and i kid you not got 2 chunks
I tried this place for the first time this week and had the barbacoa crispy tacos. Every bite was pure heaven. Will definitely be one of my favorites for food on the go!
Wow!!!! Just have some Asada tacos with grilled onion so Yummy make sure y’all try this way!!!!!!!!! A Definite plus this place is always so CLEAN!! …
Had an awesome experience at this place. Family Owned and the place was impeccable and pristine. One of the cleanest convenience stores I’ve ever been in.
Trans#3188 op I'd 3 meylin fui por un cafe con hielo pero sabia bien feo el capuchino y ay lo deje y melo cobraron son malas jentes y hera ispano
Poor service. They wouldn't let me use the restroom unless I bought something first. I will never buy from this station or convenience store.
The main attraction here is the H Kitchen where they sell excellent Mexican & Central American street food, such as tacos and pupusas.
Love the Tacos!!!! First time I ate Popusas pretty good kinda like a quesadilla!!! Must stop by very cheap 2-tacos for $3!!!!!
Great service, delicious food in H kitchen. Street tacos, papusas, and much more. Very clean!
No public restroom with this size of gas station with restaurant.
Does not open at 6am even though posted on Google as they do.
Staff is great and store is very presentable and organized.
Super clean, nice people, good disposable vape selection
H Express has the best Tacos and friendliest staff!!
Prices are insane here and the people were rude
Clean, good kitchen. Beer is over-priced.
