The treatment that I recieved here was fine, no complaints as far as the quality of the service! However, my rating was significantly lowered due to several factors, but most importantly the financial points. Firstly, I was charged for the head checks despite not having them, specifying repeatedy that lice were already present and jumping immediately into the removal. My fault for not catching it at check out, but still frustrating. Second, and most importantly: I went and recieved treatment 3 weeks ago and the money was just taken out of my bank account today. Why the salon doesn't immediately process their charges is beyond me, but a month later is more than enough to make me never want to return. As someone who lives paycheck to paycheck, paying so much is already a huge hit - having the money sat on and then pulled out suddenly and unexpectedly on Christmas eve is ridiculous.

I called to ask for pricing and appointment. Other places wouldn't take you for another day because it was memorial day weekend...I called and I got an appointment within the hour. I only came for my daughter, but explaining to us how this works the 4 of us (me and my 3 kids) got check and today returning for check-up we are clean. This place is the best and trys to work with your budget but clean out all the lice and nits the 1st time. I was very happy with the people and the place and the owner Edward is very nice...Thank you so much Hair Butterflies.

Hi, I want to come her with my parents but I don't know anymore. There are so many places to go for this treatment & some places require high payments just to fail. I see good reviews but I don't want my parents to waste their money on something that won't work. I just realized I had lice today. I was petrified, I cried knowing it was gonna be a hassle to get rid of them. Help someone! But I'm sure this place has great, legit, service though.

If this is your first time dealing with a head lice infestation, this is the perfect place to go to! After using home treatments and not making much progress, I called Hair Butterflies at almost midnight. I left a voicemail and received a text response within 5 minutes for an appointment the next day! Edward was most helpful in explaining everything we needed to do and Anna took great care of my daughter.

Every time we get "the letter" from school saying that lice has been found, we come directly here to have our four children checked! I don't feel confident that we are "lice free" unless I hear it from Hair Butterfles! They also use natural products that are good for the hair rather than the heavy chemical treatment. I highly recommend this salon if lice is discovered at your child's day care or school.

Elba did a thorough job in ensuring that every nit was removed! I have three daughters that were checked and cleaned! I am glad that this place exists! After combing out the first treatment at home spending hours and much sweat and tears... it was much better to take them to a salon where the professionals take care of things.

Hair Butterflies has a very through and gentle service, that I very enjoyed. It was something else that I expected -- it was faster, softer, and pretty pleasant! The visit was also exceptionally informative and definitely would come if I ever find lice again!

Superb customer service. Very thorough with the service and they do not do things unneccessarily. They will do the minimum service needed. Extremely pleased with my overall experience but just had a treatment today so I cannot rate the guarantee yet. Thanks!!

They are SO responsive!! Got us in within 3 hours on a Saturday of a long weekend. Very professional, efficient and informative. They don't just treat the lice, they answer all your questions and give you lots of helpful info on how to keep the lice away.

Hair Butterflies is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I got a same day, in salon appointment at their Lincoln Park location. Anna kindly helped me out, gave useful advice, and I would recommend her to family and friends.

Rovena did an awesome job on my daughter`s hair. Definitely worth it to come to the salon and after spending 2 hours to go back with you daily routine. They did take us the same day. Great place with reasonable prices.

Alma was very informative and patient while she worked on my 6yo providing some entertainment during the procedure. Easy to find parking in the front. They use non-toxic products. Highly recommend.
