I have to say, Jose has literally been the best hair stylist I have ever had. I moved away from Austin a few years ago, and have not found anyone that is a good as Jose, and who is also very personable, and always remembers you. I have been getting my hair cut from Jose, on and off (when I lived in Austin) for close to 15 years. It does not matter what side of town you are on, make the trip, you wont be disappointed. Don't let the area fool you. We need more people like Jose in Austin. Thanks, Jose!

Jose was Fantastic! I was in Austin for work and had some downtime and was looking for a hair cut. I called Jose and he was able to squeeze me in, and I am so glad he did. Jose as a person is just wonderful! Jose as a stylist is amazing. He listened to my hair concerns gave me a through consultation with suggestions. He then followed up with a hair cut and style that further proved his skills. I highly recommend Jose and plan to continue to see him for my future hair cuts.

I went to Jose earlier in the year to get my haircut. When my friend and I needed haircuts last week during quarantine, I immediately called Jose! When we entered, he took our temperature and we sanitized our hands. I would recommend to call and book and appointment because he locks the door to maintain the flow of the space. If you need a haircut, I would highly recommend coming to see Jose!

I walked in here last week after seeing great reviews, and absolutely loved my experience here. Jose is a lovely person, and gave me the best haircut I've had in years! My hair is very curly and unruly, and a lot of stylists don't know what to do with it. He listened to my ideas, and gave me a gorgeous cut. This place is my new favorite Austin gem.

I had never been here before but after seeing the reviews I had to go. This place is right by my house so I just showed up and Mr. Jose greeted me and squeezed me in even though he was waiting for someone. He was super friendly and talkative and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I definitely recommend going here!

I've been going to Jose for 6 years. The kind of barber that remembers you and is genuinely kind. I have recommended multiple friends and they all have the same experience. I love to support local businesses and this one tops them all. I wish there were 10 stars I could give for my rating, but 5 will suffice.

Stopped in to avoid the fuss of big name hair salon’s and saw the great reviews on Google. I was not disappointed! Was able to see what I wanted in my hair from a photo and got it done no problem! I was looking for a solid cut from an empathetic stylist, and I found that in Jose! I came in as a walk-in, and he took extra time to talk me through next steps and options for my style, with no pressure. His salon has been on Burnet for decades, so go see him before rising rents drive him out!

WOW!! Overall this place is by far the best the price & haircut place in Austin. Jose took the time when I need a haircut badly and was super caring and nice throughout the whole time. Overall wonderful personality and professional haircut service!

Very professional, speaks fluent English (if you were worried at all about that) and Jose is a very nice guy. You're obviously getting local pricing compared to national chains, but it's worth every dollar. He does walk-ins. Highly recommend.

*Best hair cut in Austin.. Funky area.. It was dark and I normally don't get cuts from guys.. But Wow. Jose gave me the best trim and cut I may have ever had. For sure, the best since I moved to Austin 3 years ago. I will be going back.

Really nice, super humble Jose is a very honest guy and a true stylist. We were pleasently surprised of how good he was. I recommend making an appointment because he is there mainly on the evenings after 2pm
