A very kind and generous hairstylist I was biking around the crowfoot area, searching for a random barber that wouldn't charge my entire wallet. I cluelessly walked into hair motions, where there was just a guy and his wife (the place wasn't very busy at the time). I asked if I could have a haircut for the money I had, which I clearly didn't, so his wife turned me down. But as I was deciding on which hairstylist to visit next, the guy stepped in and told me not to worry about it. He sat me down and went through what he was planning to do. He made a small cut and made sure I liked what I was getting before taking any action. The haircut was nice. He took his time and we had a very good conversations about what grade I was in and where we were from. After he was done with my haircut, I reached in for my money. It turned out, I did have some extra money, but still not enough. When I tried to give him the extra money, He refused. He, instead, asked for my name, said it was nice meeting each other, and gave me his business card. I really wish there were more generous people like him, especially how he refused to take my money even though Covid had impacted his business so much. I plan to go Hair Motions in the future, and hope to meet more generous people like him!

Henry is a good barber, and I have had great experiences before. However, service there has become inconsistent since they moved to a new location. In the last two times I went, I ended up with "barbers" who most likely had no more hair-cutting training than my nieces, despite uniform pricing across the board. The first I had to walk through how to perform a simple fade properly, which still did not end up looking professionally done. The second left the back of my head in a jagged mess that I had to immediately run over to a neighbouring shop; fortunately, they fixed my hair at no charge.

Ive been going here for a long long time as i want to help out local business and its hard to beat their prices out of the probably, 75 haircuts ive gotten 74 were perfect and 1 was sup par, I told them I wasn't the most pleased with the haircut and they went above and beyond to invite me back. Henry and The sweet blonde lady (im sorry i totally forgot your name) take care of you and make you feel at home time and time again. The best of the best in the NW.

This is the second time I visited this salon, and Henry made sure he was punctual, professional and took the time necessary to ensure my colour, wash and cut were of the highest quality. For the price, I was very impressed with the value of the service. Mariana was also very professional and took pride in her work. I would highly recommend this salon to others.

I went to hair motion to do my hair the hairstylist who did my hair her name is Sasha she could not do what I was asking for even though I showed her the picture, I did not like my hair at all when I got home I washed my hair and style it as usual.I will not go to her again to do my hair.

I've been getting my short hair done by Henry for over 10 years now. He's fast, and reasonable, and definitely does a great job on short hair without overcharging like a lot of places. It grows out really nicely too.

I've been getting my hair cut by Toby for about 5 years and I've never been disappointed. I like that you can make an appointment here, instead of waiting 30 minutes at a walk in salon, and the price is fair.
