Unfortunately I can't give a good review of this salon. I thought I had a good experience up until this last week but when I look back I just kept quiet. My stylist Cathy passive aggressively fired me as I was told that I would be better suited with a different stylist after over 2 years.. All because I sent her a text on a Sunday her day off and also gave her feedback that she has a issue with hearing. In all fairness I kept asking to go blonde to cover my greys.. however she hasn't been doing it correctly as I have had lots of feedback.. In addition to me texting on a Sunday..I apologized for texting on a weekend.. however in the past two years I have received drunk texts from her clearly as she was drinking wine.. running down her other clients.. upset that they had to walk away in all fairness I have had issues with her as well.. I have always been on time and sitting there waitng a few times over 20 minutes.. this has happened more often than not.. unfortunately she does not realize that most stylist are open on a Saturday which Hair Peace on their website does say they are open on a Saturday. Many times she would ask to come in early or at 10 am?? Most of us have jobs durning the week.. the times that I did which were not many, I would simply have to sit and waite so there was no point to come in early,.. all because she wanted to get home early.. also canceling when I knew she wasn't sick last minute as later she was posting fun things on facebook... thinking I wouldn't catch on.. I had a wedding to attend the next day and was left scrambling.. Last of all using the phrase "See you next Tuesday" which most of us all know what that means to the other stylist and they look at me, when there was no one else in the salon. Very disappointed with this and I don't feel very professional. Its a good thing I had made an appointment ahead of time so when she 'dropped' me it really showed the true colors. If you can't give feedback to a stylist then that is not okay.. Sad as I really did enjoy alot of my time there however when a customer is going every 4 weeks along with a tip.. I expected a little more.

I'm sad to say that I can't recommend this place, particularly if you're a blonde. I went here for the first time a few months ago to get my roots lightened, and my hair ended up with an unfortunate brassy tint at the roots (after hours and hours of my hair being dyed and re-dyed to try to get it right). I was told that they'd figured out the issue and that next time would be no problem. I was leery of returning, but because I live in the area and because I was assured that they knew how to get it right next time (and because I feared being charged a color correction charge by another salon due to the results of my first trip there) I decided to give it another go. Now I wish I hadn't...I literally had to go in two days in a row to have them get my hair remotely near what I wanted, and even at the end I wasn't all that happy with it (after 2 days and about 6-7 hours in the salon, I was ready to be out of there!). I think the stylist tried her best, but honestly it just felt like she was not all that well-versed in how to deal with light blonde hair. I've been a natural blonde all my life and have had my hair lightened/highlighted/coloured numerous times at other salons, and I've never had someone tell me I have "difficult hair" and I've never had results that I wasn't happy with until now. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of one is because the people who work there are genuinely nice people and their prices are reasonable, but that's not enough to make me ever want to go back. After all, you get what you pay for. Blondes beware!

Literally just walked in there and I was treated as if I was a vagrant entering the bank. I was just curious to see what was inside and tried to chat the lady up about wigs and hair pieces since the store is literally called 'hair peace' I get the joke. But all it seemed like was her wanting me to leave. I'm a student at the Aveda Institute about to graduate and I'm currently looking for salons to take me in as an apprentice. It's too bad because it's a cool looking salon on the outside, but the people? Not so much on the inside.

It's a very unique beauty salon they have all different things for you to explore for beauty for men and women the building is really unique it's a blue house do believe about a hundred years old it is really worth going there is parking in the back plus if you want a different type of spa downstairs with doing your makeup and etc it's hardly worth it the stuff in upstairs and downstairs are very nice so I highly recommend you go to this place

Unfortunately sometimes you can’t make people happy. I did my best! I alway do. I wish Anna nothing but happiness with her hair! In this creative industry, you encounter clients who may be better suited to another stylist. And that’s ok! Life happens. I know without a doubt that I was kind and patient, but we weren’t sharing the same vision for her hair. I will always remain professional and understanding. All the best to you Anna!

I went to get a hair cut. First, I can find the door to go inside the salon cause is totally confuse; then, I went inside and the girl just said you have to call 3 weeks in advance for get an appointment. What!!! The place was Empty!!!!! ❌ ❌ ⭕️ ⁉️ Wait 3 weeks no a chance I just went to Angles Hair at Westbrook mall with Susan excellent stylist.

I am absolutely thrilled with how Anita did my hair. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she did such an amazing job. She colored my hair and added low lights I can't be happier. I will be going to see Anita from now on. The space is welcoming and so comfortable. Thank you Anita for doing such an amazing job.

I have been seeing Cathy for a decade now and am always happy with the colours and the cut. I have done many different colours over the years and she will order in the right product for what I am looking for. I take my children to see Cathy with any colours they want and she is so good with them as well.

I love Tatiana and she is great if you have fine hair (which I have a whole lot of, making my hair hard to manage). She knows that I am a bit of a tomboy and will never have a real idea of what I want, so she just does what she thinks will be easy and look nice.

Cathy is FANTASTIC! She is kind and patient and good company! I trust her fully with my hair. Every time I go to her with a different vision and she always nails it! She makes me look and feel beautiful. 10/10 would highly recommend. Also, competitively priced.

Anita does a great job cutting my hair for a reasonable price. She is very accommodating and flexible and a wonderful conversationalist. I like Kathy too, but she has her own clients. Great friendly atmosphere.

Hair Peace is a fantastic salon. The ladies there are remarkable and treat you like royalty. Cut, color, new style!! Whatever you want they will deliver. Highly recommended!
