Imam says (he especially) in Mughrib and Fajr prayer that he made salaat long (actually very long) so that everyone can joins in and there is no need to second or third prayer by the late comers themselves. Where does this logic written in Quran or Hadith? Did Sahaba practiced this logic? Canada is not a Muslim country my employer hardly gives me 15 min to pray and these Imams made it impossible for me to offer a reasonable length of prayer with Jamaat. Imam has a good knowledge of Islam but no wisdom and understanding of surroundings and challenges that people face to offer Salaat with Jamaat. Instead of making it easier they make it impossible.

Great masjid and lots of huffadh here. The community is friendly and masjid volunteers do their best to address the concerns of the masjid/musallees. Lots of space for sisters, which is on the main floor (so they don't have to climb stairs like in other masajid), although sometimes sisters have to ask for the door to be opened or enter through the brothers' side . The sisters's side is sometimes locked to prevent homeless people from entering the building, because they come in and steal things or just cause issues.

I highly recommend this mosque to anyone looking for a place of worship. Whether you are a devout Muslim or simply curious about Islam, you will find a warm and welcoming community here that is eager to share their faith and culture with others. The staff and volunteers are friendly and welcoming, willing to answer any questions I had and make me feel at home. It is heartening to see people from all walks of life coming together in prayer and fellowship.

Beautiful and wonderful place to be, but when everyone is done and about to leave.. many people stand and socialize in walk ways and in front of doors. I dont know if its lack of respect for one another or lack of knowledge. As well as the parking lot, socializing in middle of lot. Very selfish attitude only seconds after prayer. And this Is done by hundreds not just 1 or 2 people. No need to respond, just being honest.

I've been coming to this masjid since July 2016 and it gives me a lot of peace and joy. The shoe area could use reconfiguration. During winter the idea of taking shoes off in the doorway is complicated. Umar Mosque had an innovative solution to this issue, perhaps you could follow. Also perhaps the masjid could host 2 jummah prayers instead of one. It gets way too crowded Masha Allah there are a lot of Muslims coming

Very inclusive of all Muslims. A huge Masjid with a capacity of over 1500+ people praying at once. Obviously Covid-19 will affect that number. A good place to look for volunteer options and ask for help/ advice. The management is very responsible and works around the clock. Jummah and Eid prayers are well-organised even in the midst of a Pandemic. Donate generously to keep this place well-maintained.

Grand place to offer 5 times prayer with Jamat. They have established an Islamic school there as well. There are many other activities going side by side. The Holy Quran teaching has been arranged for all ages. There is parking lot available . Though for Jumma it's bit hard to get parking if you are too late. Its usually over crowded on Fridays.

I had the pleasure of coming here for a few weeks during Jummah this year as I was travelling to and from Hamilton. I really loved the vibe and the community in this mosque. It’s one of the most multicultural masjids I have been to. It’s great to be along side all my African brothers during salah. I will miss coming here. Keep up the good work.

Every time I go I feel connected to the community and closer to God. I'm not very social so what is special for me is how friendly and welcoming everyone is. As one brother put it, "it isnt just a mosque, it is a community centre." I can attest that is true. I certainly feel like a member of the community when I'm there.

Imam Kamal from Liya is an amazing guy who reminded us of the Islamic priciples stating the following: when you give advice, give the best advice that you can, be jimble and compassionate, be understanding and empathetic of the other person yoire giving advice to.

A great facility in the heart of Downtown Hamilton offering 5 times prayers and round the clock community service. They have big prayer hall and a nice areas for making wudhu separate for men and women. Plenty of parking and convenient access from two sides.

The women's prayer room was really spacious. If I recollect my memories well, there are also rooms for wudhu for both men and women. There is also a TV which broadcasts the Imaam during Friday prayers. There are also items as well as fruits

Very nice, clean, and beautiful masjid. Has a very big community room in her sisters side. The sound is pretty good too. Love the clearly labeled sisters and men's rooms. Bathroom are nice and clean too.

Clean and calm. Qutba is informative and imam is patient. Haven't been a part of the community for long but I've observed lots of activities and events for kids and families are conducted.
