23 Feb Update FORGET IT IF YOU NEED HIM AGAIN. Although I read some comments about Matt not responding I ignored them. When he was supposed to come again and finish what he started he disappeared. My messages were either not answered or he kept promising to contact me but never did. The last time I saw him he asked for MONEY to buy stuff he would need to install at my place. NEVER seen him since... NEVER been scammed so badly... My original review: Matt is truly unique, especially when most handymen are either in a rush or pay little attention to your needs. He really stands out by being exactly the opposite. Professional, caring, an overall very good value for money service.

Took my money and... Matthew came to look at another job for me, very happy to use him again. He took 200€ cash to get materials about three weeks ago and now fails to respond to emails or let me know what is going on. My fault for being trusting but seems I'm not the only one he is taking money from and then not doing the work. Matthew was able to visit me within three days of my having called him. Throughout, he advised me what would be required, what the costs would be, etc., and offered a properly professional service. Although the jobs I needed doing were small, that was no problem at all; he also offered advice on the parts required and went to collect them. I'd certainly recommend him, not only as an English-speaking handyman, but simply as a handyman in Berlin.

Matt came over to my place to look at a wall that I had spilled some wine on. He was friendly, helpful and really knew his stuff. He knows all the hardware stores in Berlin and all the german names of everything so it's really handy if your german isn't that good. I eventually decided to wait till my flatmate got home before making a decision and Matt didn't even charge me a call out fee, he is truly a nice guy!!

Just moved into our new flat in Berlin. The big sliding doors on the double wardrobe break. I emailed Matt the same day after Googling 'English-speaking handyman Berlin'. He was quick to respond, offered to come out the same day (a Sunday no less), and when he came to do the work he was polite and helpful. The wardrobe is now working great. I would call Matt for any jobs in the future.

I'm very happy to recommend the services of Handyman Berlin! Just before Christmas, I needed assistance to fit some curtain tracks. Called Matthew and he had one of his colleagues role up the following morning. He got the job done (even it proved harder than first expected) and was really friendly. Planning to use them to do more work in early 2017!
