U Papavia - Happy Family Apartments Genoa 8 nights end of July/ beginning of August Family of 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 child. the + : + Location is ok (not perfect) + The high ceilings + Relatively well equipped (good oven, microwave and gas hob) + 2 bathrooms and 2 very separate bedrooms + foldable bed + Confortable beds + AC + Feels new and freshly refurbished + The Carrefour Express supermarket (very convenient) and the superba pizza place, just 30 seconds away the - : - The location is on the outskirts of a relatively rough area (the port) - A LOT of tourists pass through the street (probably coming from a cruise ship from the port) - The little balcony wasn't clean (covered in bird droppings - see photo) so we couldn't use it - Impossible to park (and complicated to unload and load our suitcases) - No coffee machine (just a strange Italian coffee pot) - AC not easy to use (and I work in tech). - Very small, cheap TV My biggest complaint : - VERY VERY VERY NOISY AT NIGHT => The windows don't close properly so the noise from the busy street below (3rd floor) was just unbearable. Not only because of the busy street below (drunk people yelling until 3AM in the morning and workers restocking the local supermarket at 7AM). We were tired all day because of the lack of sleep. We complained to Happy Family because of the noise from the busy street and there were construction works (see photo) just opposite the flat that started before 7 AM. But they denied our claims stating that no one else in the building complained, so basically, they didn't believe us. So I told them, I'll write an honest review. For that reason (unless you're a very deep sleeper) I wouldn't advise people to book this apartment, and I will never use Happy Family apartments again for the way they treat their customers.

Siamo stati ospiti presso Happy Family Apartaments San Lorenzo. Posizione fantastica, proprio vicino la chiesa San Lorenzo, l’appartamento si trova in una zona piena di ristoranti e locali. Il porto vecchio e l’Acquario di Genova sono raggiungibili a piedi in 1 minuto. Self check-in semplice e veloce, appartamento con ampio soggiorno/cucina ben arredato con due camere da letto matrimoniali e bagno fornito di lavatrice. Il personale è stato molto gentile e professionale, disponibile nei confronti del cliente sin da subito. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare qui! Grazie ritorneremo sicuramente! Alla prossima ☺️

Ottima posizione, centrica e vicina a fermate dell’autobus e della metro, oltre che a solo 12 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria piazza principe. L’appartamento è pulito e ben arredato, presenta anche asciugamani, coperte e asciugacapelli. Nonostante sia al terzo piano, c’è un ascensore che facilita tutto. Appartamento comodo anche per famiglie.

Pas du tout happy pour ce voyage en famille!!! Pas de chauffage pendant plus de 24h (alors qu'il faisait entre 0 et 5°C dehors), appels multiples auprès de Manuela pour résoudre le problème, intervention de Airbnb, etc. En plus, ouverture dans l'un des murs de la chambre à coucher! Avec un fermeture plus que précaire et inutile en cas de froid....

I had a fantastic stay at Genova! The owner was incredibly nice and accommodating throughout my entire visit. Their hospitality made my trip even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.
