I'm tee he handy man in our family. I love to buy, and use new tools! I've been a customer here for quit some time and they usually have most of what I need. However don't try to return or exchange anything because the staff including the managers aren't exactly friendly when doing so! In the over 4 yrs shopping here I've returned a cordless drill and I'll be rammed if the cashier didn't count every little sand circle (they're like the size of a quarter) of course everything was there but still was it really necessary to count all 100 of them?! Recently I tried to return a butane torch and was told they won't take it back! I can understand that because it had gas in it why they wouldn't. I told them I would take it and run it clean before hand.still no! I showed them why I wanted to exchange it because when letting to of the grip it should shut right down like a.lighter. Not the case it actually expelled more and alot further or higher flame that stayed lit and going for an extra 3 seconds. That may not seem like alot but that is very dangerous! So I asked the manager in duty "what am I supposed to eat the cost of a defective product you sold" and her and was a resounding "yes"because we can't resell it"!!! I'm floored and extremely disgusted and disappointed! When a company care a.more about their inventory than the safety of their customers there a serious problem not to mention gross negligence! So I guess I'm out $15 + tax. And if I want another one that'll be double. I have never known a store to refuse an exchange of a faulty product they've sold! I'm seriously unhappy about this and I don't think I'll be returning to that peticular store!
Purchased 2 epoxy putty sticks. Went home, applied the first stick, no problems. When I opened the 2nd package, I noticed it was not the same consistency of the 1st, but applied it anyway. Next day, and the 1st sticks repair is perfect and hard; the 2nd stick is still soft and never cured properly. I went back to this store to exchange, but they didnt have any in stock. I asked for a refund, but was told by manager Kandace that it was "non-refundable" due to the nature of the item. I showed a video of the difference in the 2 epoxies, since I cannot bring it in to the store to show; and explained how it was clearly on the shelf too long or defective. She told me it didnt matter and she couldnt/wouldnt do anything about it. So basically, if you purchase black paint from here, but turns out to be orange; too bad so sad. As a corporation and a managed store, making a customer pay for an item that is found to be defective is unacceptable. They wasted my time, and have lost a customer for life over $4. Terrible customer service.
I would have easily given them 5 stars for having a clean store, the ease of finding what I needed, and for actually having it in stock. However, I have to deduct 4 stars for the ASSUMED dislike of me? Since Me and the Latin gentleman was to told where the line actually started and was instructed where to go but the same gentleman who gave us the direction to leave his line took the lovey white lady who was behind me/us! Further making me question if I was welcomed here the young lady at the actual open register decided to ignore me and take a phone call! (Store Phone) and didn’t bother with addressing me like sir give me just a moment or even a simple gesture of just wait one minute. Another employee open a register since it was apparent that neither one of them was going to take care of us. 4/16/2023 11:45 AM
I Honesty use to love coming here the staff was nice and informative but this last month. I felt every much ignored and belittled I've come in twice to purchase a toolbox only to have my questions dismissed and ignored. The first guy I think his name was Jack kept ignoring me. finally when I got his attention he had no information and kept talking to me like I was a kid. Finally a young gentleman gave me some advice about the model I was interested in but Mike told him he had it covered. After he tried up selling me with no validation or reasons on to why. I walked out he is without a doubt the worse think that's happen to this store. The way he talks to his employees and to customers is a big reason I will not be back....
Location and accessibility is good. Parking is good. Same products as any HF so my review is mostly on customer service with which I am disappointed. The line wait is always ridiculous. Cashiers don’t seem to like their job. I might have been spoiled at other HF but the cashiers would open catalogs and try to scan for deals even if I don’t know they had any. Just for trying I thought that was awesome! Either way this is the closest location to me and I have been here many times. I just don’t care for the representatives that were hired here. If ever convenient in my route I will go to a different one. ***Update. Service rep was great! I don’t remember her name but please keep her.
I don't know if these guys just had a long hard day or are just straight out NOT IN THE KNOW HOW ON HOW TO BE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS... GOOD CUSTOMERS. Maybe it's just this store hires n fires like crazy, or the good ones just move on.. Regardless ..I don't have names. But the smaller kinda guys was aight. But the real big like really big guy (am I allowed to say that?) Was the most miserable, hateful , lazy , inconsiderate , amongst a plethora of other characteristics a sales clerk should NOT be like. I mean this has been my main store for 7 years now ever since we moved out here . And I PROMISE to you I will NEVER step through them doors again.
We came here today to purchase sand blasting materials (air compressor, glass beads, etc etc) to use on our pool. There were a couple of things we couldn't find (assuming the stock out front needed to be restocked from the back), so we asked the people who worked there multiple times for help. They kept acting like they'd send someone back to help us, but never did. We waited for an hour, and there were at least 3 workers doing nothing except playing with a visiting friend's puppy and pretending to find items that needed to be restocked. They lost out on hundreds of dollars since we'll now be purchasing from another company.
Many tools, very good prices. Friendly staff. Usually you don't have to wait more than 1-2 people in the check out lane. 10 minutes in and out. I suggest calling first they close early. Just went back in today to get a C type charger. I got greeted with a hello as soon as I walked in. Whitney then asked me if she could help me find anything. I told her what I was looking for. It took her about 75 seconds to go from behind the cashier and grab the item I wanted. Then another 20 seconds to get back behind the register. So just over 1 and a half minutes. I paid and left. It was a nice November walk and Whitney was great.
This store's customer service is extremely poor. One time this girl behind the counter was yelling and treating this senior man like he's stupid, I called her out and the manager was just standing there not saying anything, and this was a couple of years ago. A couple of weeks ago, I had to buy some tools and there was this manager Joana who has a very unpleasant attitude. She doesn't smile, she has a grouchy face and that day, she had to work at the check out for the line was long and she looked pissed. She's snappy when you ask her something. I'd rather go to Home Depot or Lowe's, can't deal with low life people.
Although the prices for some items have increased substantially (percentage-wise) compared to before, but still cheaper than many places, I am/will always be addicted to this place. There's always a reason to just stop in. I have been shopping HF for 25+ years and will continue to do so. Have been 98% satisfied so far. This place is like a humongous toy & candy store for do-it-yourselfers... I can easily spend 1-3 hours just browsing and wishing I had 99% of the items. I look forward to checking out their "new" offerings. And I ALWAYS find something else that I "need". LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Had such a bad experience with a manager named Carlos, he was yelling at his fellow employees. Demanding them to not help lift a heavy product into my Car. I understand things can get very busy i asked them for assistance since I wouldn't have the strength to put my items in my car, a young gentleman with glasses offered to help but was immediately stopped by his supervisor and told be that was not possible.. I feel so so bad for his team if he is there leader NO CUSTOMER should be treated like this and no employee deserves to work in that environment...I will be calling corporate.
If you're a professional craftsman who uses your tools everyday, you'll probably want to buy those tools elsewhere. If you're a hobbyist who only uses your tools once in a while, Harbor Freight is your place to go. There's simply no point in paying big bucks for brand names like Makita, Hilti or DeWalt when you'll only be using a particular tool 2 or 3 times a year. You're much better off getting yourself a tool made by Chicago Electric or Bauer at a quarter of the price you'd pay for the high end, big name tools.
Low priced mediocre grade tools from asia. If it Is a tool that you expect to use for decades and maybe pass down to your offspring some day looking a tad rough but just as useful as the day you bought it? Do not buy it at this or any Harbor Freight. Think of your tools and good at the store as one step up from disposable. And good luck if you are a woman and Venture into the store along without knowing exactly what it is you're looking for and which aisle is on cuz you could turn to Stone waiting for help
The store was clean and the items I needed were in stock and easy to find. I had coupons from their monthly catalog and saved 40% off their normal price. Always check magazines or the internet for coupons before you go! I usually check Harbor Freight first for disposable tools and other items you won't use often. It's a good idea to Google the reviews too. Some are just as good as the brand names at a fraction of the price and other items aren't worth the savings.
I saw online that they sold sharpening stone. I went to this store to purchase the stone. I was surprised that there were so many customers. I found out they have a big sale. I ended up with a bunch of items that I did not need but since most items were reduce significantly. It was a little bit hard to get some help since there were so many customer but when I finally got help a person with very helpful and walk me to the place where the item I was looking for
This store is ridiculous! Every time I go in the store it takes forever to get rang up. It's like nobody understands the concept of working with a sense of urgency and it always seems like they just dont know what the heck they're doing with the person they are trying to ring up in the first place. I dropped what i was going to buy and walked out of the store watching this unfold because i had other things to get done than watch paint dry!
Great customer service. Tool side- you should know what to expect, cheaper tools over brand named tools at other retailers. Will get the job done but don't expect long lasting life. I have noticed though that powered tools have improved over the last couple of years but their prices have also gone up making for very little savings against name brand, so if you plan on using for many projects- stick to name brand tools!
You have to know what you're getting and the expected quality of the items you buy here. If you plan on beating on the tools here, youll end up with broken gear. Little stuff like tape, wire, paint accessories, measuring tools, ect, you'll be fine This time around the card reader was down, along with 2 other stores in the valley. Super inconvenient especially concidering i was at work. Wasted a good portion of my day.
Needed some truck ramps for my motorcycle and the ones I wanted were out of stock they said they would call me as soon as they had a shipment it was supposed to Friday but it came in 2 days early as soon as it came in I received a phone call and they put it on hold until I got there this was by far best customer service I have had I recommend whatever you need harbor freight has it or will help you get it!

Only bought Velcro ties for my electronic power supplies and cables. I also got a 20 pack of free AAA batteries by bringing in a coupon. I need to go again because I need to look for "command performance" and get a free multi meter (free stuff requires purchase of something). They're free stuff coupons are awesome. They also have 20% or more off one item, but you can't combine coupons there.
Awesome place. I joined the club and it's an excellent value. There are varying levels of quality and prices. They always have coupons. Great sales. If you want to put a set of tools together that will last, this is a great place to go. They also have decent pneumatic tools, motor stands and lifts. Very good warranty service as well. The staff is always attentive and helpful.
This harbor freight is spacious. The stage is always nice and helpful. Recommend always you sing the android coupons app. I thing harbor freight made everything digital after the virus so their website might be an option also. But the app has everything more practical than the website. Been her multiple times never been overly busy it's my favorite location.
I'm really getting tired of buying stuff from this place that doesn't work like those fake cell phone chargers solar they don't work at all the solar panel kit it doesn't work I even bought a $4 pry bar that busted as soon as I started to price something with it stop delivering garbage bring good prices on good products and you will control the market
If we compare this place to Home Depot, the price is lower but keep in mind , so is the quality. However, I like how their staff are always walking around making sure the customers are finding what they look for. So you will most likely find what you are looking for , but the quality is not what you should expect when you pay lower amount of money.
These stores have the worst service you could possibly get or l let me rephrase it probably just as bad as home Depot but the best thing about harbor freight is is the constant 6 to 7 people in line and the managers walking around just looking at the lines instead of opening up another register it makes shopping in harbor freight such a fun ordeal
Harbor Freight is the bomb I get all my tools from here bought my solar panels for my Ranch bought my generators for my Ranch great prices great service and they locations are convenient all over Las Vegas and check out their Clearance Center they got some great prices got some generators for real cheap and they work great
Harbor Freight is cool...it's just being Harbor Freight...Not trying to come at you like they're the best...they aren't high pressure...they just want to get some tools in your hands...no worries.. Update: I remember when they had the 1 and a half ton floor jack...Well, currently they have the 4 ton...Impressed now?
If you know your expectations, HF really is the most affordable way to complete projects, with tools you won't likely use often. Although, some of their offerings have really stepped up over the years. I just wished their 20% off coupons still worked on everything, and not have a bunch of limits like they do now.
While I can agree that some of the tools this place sells are just as cheaply made as they are easy on the customers wallet., but this place actually has a decent amount of tools that are worth the money , these tools are good tools for the money that you could buy & be happy in most cases if you are on a budget.
The quality of the equipment is yet to be seen but I'm not rough on my tools so they will probably hold up... Other than that... You get slammin' deals at this place.. The staff is nice but novice.. Amazing if you're only half serious about your tools... Like me... I'll probably sell every thing next week
They have lazy staff, I live in Henderson and I called to make sure they had an engine stand. Guy answers and says yep we got them. I drive all the way up there just to find out they are out of stock. What a waste of a human. Should make sure ur employees can even do their job before putting them to work.
Best in Las Vegas - Of the Harbor Freight stores in town, this one is the best. Better organized, better stocked, and shorter checkout lines. A good source for cheap tools. Though not the best quality, their quality and selection have improved over time. Good for tools you'll only use now and then.
Like always, I found what I was looking for and for a lower price than most places. It's my third choice for quality house and hardware supplies. Friendly staff but you few to actually help you on the floor to find things but willing to direct you to where what you're looking for IF they carry it.
They are always offering coupons on all kinds of different items that they have at a good price and they have several different qualities of tools all the way from homeowners to professional grade tools. If you need specialty tools for a job you are most likely to find it there at a good price.
This place makes me sad. It's like a Pic N Save but for tools. They have good deals. For the most part, the tools are cheaply made but they have a lot of cool stuff. They have 1/2" chain, which Home Depot and Lowe's don't have. But they don't carry 1/2" chain hooks. That was disappointing.
Love this store. If you are looking for Tools or Home Repair items... This store has more economical prices than the other 2 major stores. Staff is helpful and usually easier to locate. Great place for the Home or Garage do it yourself person to get the necessary tools for a good price.
I seriously love Harbor Freight. All the products are cheap in price and mediocre in quality BUT with the lifetime warranty on EVERYTHING. You really cant beat this place. If my wife would let me I'd spend my whole paycheck here on stuff I dont really need but it's cheap so why not?
This is for the gentleman who says the rainbow location is not on google maps :) it's the most fun spot to shop in for tools, with true Vegas spirit!! :-) we're very diverse and cultural! I love seeing all the new faces from all over the world whom come in to see us! Thank you!
Love it. Great prices but def use their coupons which are published constantly. Suggest to sign up on line for extra savings. Be patient and wait for sales on items. Best buy is their work wood bench. Can't beat the price. Metal blue work bench with peg board is nice as well.
Son asked the difference between wooden and fiberglass handle. After explaining, he's telling the customers in the store. Good to see this store cleanup and become one of the better ones in Las Vegas. Keep up the good work. Could improve on customer interaction and guidance.
Very cool place to get tools, safety items, some lighting, batteries, flash lights, cleaning clothes, and more. Staff very friendly and very easy to check out. Was able to use a 15 percentage off coupon. Always good to check their website for great deals and coupons.
Harbor Freight is Harbor Freight, nothing else comes close. If you have to ask then you wouldn't understand. Tools, DIY projects, stuff. And there is a feebie something with every purchase. Get the App. Worth it. Makes me want to go there everyday. Cliff
Always friendly employees, more coupons & free items than you'll ever need-a mix of cheaper to higher end items. I usually go with my father, I always enjoy going, there's a great variety of items you never knew you "needed" until you happen across it.
So far so good, one thing I suggest is whenever possible buy a extra warranty. Had a problem with a pressure washer after 90 days it's not covered. Turns out it was something very minor, no money spent to fix just you-tube and about 15 minutes of time
Amount of merchandise and quantity, quality is pretty versatile for your needs. The biggest complaint is not enough checkers at certain times of the day or during sale days. However, the staff is really great and very helpful. Good store.
Got me in and out of the door quickly with what I needed. Inventory system was not 100% accurate which caused me to have to drive clear across town to find a store that had what I needed. Once at that store it was a smooth transaction.
They got very good tools and the warranty they offer on their tools they Buck it up good they change it no questions asked I love it this is the best place to buy tools and the employees give you a good service very helpful people
If you look for some decent quality hand tools with a lifetime warranty and a great price to boot, this is the place. The employees are very nice and helpful. Gets a little crazy during there parking lot sales but well worth it.
This location you can find just about anything except for the weekends. The weekends are when everything is usually picked out. Also if you're returning any tools that you used you don't receive your full amount back just FYI.
You need to take a picture of their coupons with your phone to zoom in on the brands that they WON'T honor with their discounts. It will save you an unnecessary trip. I'm too old to read the fine print with the naked eye.
Harbor Freight is like Princess Auto you got to watch what you're buying and sometimes you get a great deal and other times you buy junk anyway watch what you buy the deals are there and sometimes you'll have great luck
Great location and selection; prices keep you coming back. The staff is friendly and helpful and I love the no-haggle return policy because sometime you buy the wrong tools and they make returns and exchanges painless.
The cashier was friendly. It seems like products are thinning out. I couldn't find what I originally went in for but, I did find a small shop vac for cleaning my smoker! There is always something cool to pick up at HF.
I like going to Harbor Freight store, it's a grown ups toy store. The products are good not great the prices for some things are very good. Every now and then you can find items here that you can't find any where else.
Harbor Freight has a large selection of both hand and power tools. Most are imported and lower quality, but excellent for DIY projects. If I were looking for professional tools, I'd probably prefer Craftsman or SnapOn.
I love this place! Definitely more bang for your buck. I walk in to buy something that's already a great price. I end up leaving with a discount on that item from a coupon plus a free item from another coupon I used.
I've always enjoyed harbor freight, no other store like it, it's a guys toy store! They keep a pretty organized clean store and generally well stocked, I rarely can't get what I need. Plus all the coupons are great!
Harbor Freight is awesome. We went in to look for an outside stainless steel table. One salesman approached us. He was so helpful! No pressure, but helpful. Many stores should study Harbor Freight's business model.
Harbor freight just has the best tools at the best prices when you really need a tool and don't want to pay three times with Lowe's or home Depot charges you go there I find the tools to be excellent for the money
Was the best . I went there for an on sale tool box on Saturday ALL GONE so went back on Sunday.. none on the shelf.. but the awesome lady who worked there found one for me Great experience...thanks harbor freight
Tools at amazing prices! With optional warranties so if they do break, just swap it out for a new one! They warranty their products better than snap on does! (if you can even get snap on to warranty a damn thing)
Ok tools. Basically use and dump. I have used many Bauer tools. They last about a year with intermediate use. Lots of other good stuff but nothing of really high quality. As long as you realize this you are fine
BEWARE! This Harbor Freight Closes early whenever it wants to. Candice rudely turned me away at 7:52 pm. I assured her that it will be a quick transaction and insisted that i come back the following morning.
Customer service was great. The cashier helped me renew a long expired membership then helped me find coupons for lots of the items I had already picked out. Saved enough to pay for the membership and some.
I had no idea what I was really getting into when I entered the store. I wanted a buffer to polish my car. The salesperson who came was very helpful. He explained features and use. I appreciated his help.
Oh yeah. I frequent harbor freight at this location. They have an inventory from A to Z. I like it. You can get some serious tools at this location. Yep, I'm a buyer. I have Big Smiles for harbor freight.
I visited this location to find replacement wheels for a U-line utility cart. They offer a decent selection of suitable wheels in different sizes and heights. I was able find what I needed for my cart.
Great toy shop for everyone I have way too much fun just browsing.. but I can never get out of there without buying something. I always have an excellent deal and all their staff is extremely helpful.
I love Harbor Freight in general but this store always does not have what I'm looking for so I always have to go to the store on Craig Road but I love Harbor Freight quality tools at a cheap price.
Love Harbor Freight! I'm here a couple times a month, either for personal or work. They have so many deals it's hard to walk out without buying something. Make sure to join their Inside Track Club
Guy named Jack helped me and is terrific took his time and kept his cool because I'm slow now thanks to a stroke went overboard with helping Great Guy made me a lifetime customer ♥️ …
Good place to get cheap tools, imo they are good quality. Really like the low profile rapid jack I got from them awhile back. Also really cheap bits but only time will tell if they will last.
good product , you get your money worth and good customer service. I like this location better because its a few minutes drive away from where I live and they usually have everything I need.
Great place to buy cheap tools!! I exchanged my broken Pittsburgh torque wrench for a new one, without any hassle! Most of their Pittsburgh hand tools, if not all, have a lifetime warranty!
Small store reminds me of a mom and pop store. Not sure if that's good or bad. Good prices would shop there again. Not sure what was happening, but customers were at the cashier too long.
I don't work here, how would I know where things are? I asked Johana and she gave me a very bad attitude. I've been a customer at this place for years. I think it's time to say goodbye.
When I called, the young man was very helpful and patient as I told him what I was looking for. They didn't have my item but his professional attitude was impressive …
Prices are great, staff is helpful. For the most part, their tools are quality. Definitely a lot in there that you can use even when that's not what you went in for. Nice store!
I got a cheap-as-dirt tool chest there a few years ago and still use it daily. Yeah, the quality is not Craftsman, but many tools don't have to be perfect to be very useful.
Bargain tools for tradesmen who cannot afford over priced tools just because of a brand name. Very helpful staff but they could have better knowledge of the tools they sell.
Great prices but some family was letting their kids run wild all over the store and bumping in to me several times. I wish the employees would have done something about it.
Nice store, usually clean, but tend to be sold out of a lot of stuff quicker than other locations. Plenty of parking nice wide spaces and room if you're towing a trailer.
I have purchased a few small hand-tools here, aside from the low prices they have the best return policy in town. "Peace of mind shopping" should be their calling card.
They have a nice selection of tools girl there helped me with a toolbox they have decent ones in many colors she said watch the ads the are in the ad frequently!!
Easy shopping. For a quick diy project general tools. Only thing they don’t carry nails of all things unless it’s for a nail gun . Other than that they are okay.
Always a good place to get reasonable price basic tools. Not big name brands but work well. I have always been pleased with their products and helpful service
Very nice store. Seems a bit better stocked than some of the others I've been to. The layout of the store is easy and the staff are both friendly and helpful.
before you got buy a high-dollar item from a big box store check out harbor freight. They have great deals in the variety of tools and accessories is amazing
I used to love this place and then they changed. They think they're a high-end tool store now and they're really not. I miss my mailer filled with coupons.
This location is usually always in stock with the tool that's advertised and a very friendly staff good place to go and find what you need for a good price
Good inexpensive tools. Sign up for the coupons and get even better deals. Perfect for hobbyist and homeowners needs. Good variety of tools and supplies
Cashier welcomed is upon entry, found what I was looking for that Home Depot didn't have. A small hammer for my little toolbox. Thanks Harbor Freight
Most people who buy tools know what you should and shouldn't get from harbor freight. Over the years the overall quality has gotten a little better.
The item I needed showed in stock online, but it wasn't on the shelf. The staff was able to quickly look it up and bring it up to the front for me.
Love Harbor freight tools. They are starting to make higher quality hand tools than in the past and still far cheaper than the tool truck brands
Candice is the best . Super helpful very knowledgeable. Takes pride in her store. I wish I had an employee that worked half as hard as she does!
Michael was attentive, knowleable, in dealing with our transaction. We are pleased that your service is top notch. Thank you Jackie Bortolamedi
The last few times we've visited we've had the pleasure of having this super nice cashier. Always quick but knows how to make small talk.
I love this place for the right tool. Some are questionable, but others are great. Like the spray gun, Floor jack, and impact sockets.
