I am currently studying level one English at this library twice a week and after just 3 weeks I feel frustrated for a number of reasons. For example, I dislike the fact that there are only two public toilets and only one is accessable to the general public. Yesterday (27/09/18) I felt the need to use the toilet but it was locked and no reason was given and when I asked a member of staff if I can use the other toilet I was told that I can't because it is for children and disabled people. I felt humilated and very upset because I was trying to explain to the person that I had to use the toliet urgently and she refused to grant my request. I have written a formal complaint to Brent libraries but in the meantime I think that it is appropiate for me to leave feedback which reflects the way I was treated by a member of staff in this library. I personally think that the public should avoid using this library and if possible find another one to use instead where hopefully the staff show respect for the people that come in.
Omg I have missed my impromptu visits to the library since covid shut everything down. Working as a carer i can get gaps between my visits to clients. So my love of reading n going to the library is my little slice of heaven, a sneaky pack of biscuits n I'm living the dream. The staff at Harlesden library are really friendly n helpful, were very welcoming when seeing me back today. Unfortunately there are always a few people who don't know/care that libraries are meant to be a quiet place for reading, studying. So amazes me that they look surprised to be told to be quiet or you don't want to talk. Harlesden library has a great selection of books in my opinion and I look forward to my next visit.
Unsafe for children as I witnessed intolerant public uses the library and they shouted at my children twice! I informed the staff and no actions were taken! I would never bring my children there and do not recommend as intoxicated people utilises the library and luckily I stood up for my children but it is not an experience I want them to have!
Not very good had a very poor experience at the hub . But the young lady that helped me with my important application was extremely helpful and worked under extreme pressure the employee should be very grateful to her and change their system as this system is out of date and out of control.. Very bad
i never found what i'm looing for . many books are really missing , or just me ? what i'm sure about this place ,some readers they barrow and never return in the right place , that's why its impossible to find what you looking for
It's a nice and cosy library, but it could use a touch up or expansion as there's couple of cracks and patches around the building, The computers are something out of 2009 but most people bring their own devices.
The workers at the desk were really polite and nice and it was smooth but the only down side to it is just that it's a small Library and there is much computer and variations of books but overall it's good
not a very nice library. needs way more management and staff to control it. very very noisy and no one cares, you just cannot concentrate in there at all if you need to actually work.
I have always come to this library but since they have new staff they do not respect the closing hours. at 17:55 they didn't let me in, I walked more than an hour for nothing .
Decent enough place to work, reasonable amount of space and there are plugs for your laptop if you need them. Not too noisy.
Outstanding, much better than before and I love the staff!! And the new books, the news reading and study areas too!
Friendly staff ( shout out to you, Rashid!), clean, quiet work environment. Please can we all keep it this way✌
