"Great views but the worst service from the get go"
"Great: - views of the Brooklyn Bridge - variety of cocktails - if you book a reservation prior; much better to have a designated table Not so great: - gratuity is ALREADY INCLUDED on the final bill but they don't let you know unless you read the bottom section - 20% by default (up to you to change it down, but then you look like a bad person) - there is NO service if you sit by a window; they will come take your drinks from you (waitress tried to take my unfinished martini), but will not offer any water or napkins, etc"
"What a great experience at Harriet's Lounge for a girls night out"
"The lounge is a lot less hectic than the rooftop so if you are looking for a quiet experience then I recommend coming here instead"
"One star for the beautiful views, we got there and the hostess very nice sat us to a table and said there is a minimum spend of $50 per person which is fine"
Great views but the worst service from the get go. It took us 40 minutes to get our first drink (there’s a 2 hour limit at the rooftop tables). Out of our group of 4, only 2 people ordered a round of shots and our server charged for all 4. The server never checked in to see how things were going. The bill came and the receipt said there was a suggested 20% gratuity added however it is not MANDATORY. I paid for the bill and scratched the gratuity out which again, on the bill said was not mandatory and suggested. The server, Daniela, still charged me even though I wrote on the receipt not to. When I brought it up she rudely said “why? did you not like the service?” and our group said “yes to be honest it took a really long time to get our drinks and it wasn’t necessarily the best service.” She then said she needed a manager to reverse the charge and it would take “a really long time.” In which she started walking around talking to coworkers and not actually doing anything about the bill. When I said “you still have my credit card” she responded in a sassy tone “oh what you think I stole it?” Absolute worst customer service, extremely disappointed in Daniela.
Great: - views of the Brooklyn Bridge - variety of cocktails - if you book a reservation prior; much better to have a designated table Not so great: - gratuity is ALREADY INCLUDED on the final bill but they don't let you know unless you read the bottom section - 20% by default (up to you to change it down, but then you look like a bad person) - there is NO service if you sit by a window; they will come take your drinks from you (waitress tried to take my unfinished martini), but will not offer any water or napkins, etc. Normally that's fine for a bar, but if you're paying 20% gratuity, you'd expect simple service at least - it's a small space, so come early; very limited seating at the windows/bar - must make a reservation! - somebody spilled their espresso martini on me because of how packed the venue was allowed to get, although that is also due to human error Worth a visit for the view, but may not come back, given the service and the sneakiness of the gratuity. Most venues will let you know, or put a stamp that says "GRATUITY INCLUDED" in the tip section. Thought this was a shady practice, possibly given the percentage of tourists here (we're local).
What a great experience at Harriet's Lounge for a girls night out....I highly recommend this place if you want great service with a beautiful ambience! Our waitress was ARIA and she was so friendly and very attentive as she explained the menu and offered recommendations which were on point! Thank you so much from Drita, Suzana, and Fetija.

The lounge is a lot less hectic than the rooftop so if you are looking for a quiet experience then I recommend coming here instead. Obviously, you come to Harriet’s for the view and it is totally worth it. They capitalize off that however…the drinks are expensive and the selection isn’t great. The service is also non-existent. I felt like I was a pain to them when I ordered a drink. Not a great vibe. They are not super welcome at the bar area. The lounge itself is a bit confusing to get to if you’ve never been to it before but ask a staff member for help. This place is really only worth going to once for the views or to show your friends/family
One star for the beautiful views, we got there and the hostess very nice sat us to a table and said there is a minimum spend of $50 per person which is fine. Ordered drinks and snacks, first arrived the tuna tartare which had a can tuna taste. Cocktails arrive and we're literally just sweet juices with ice. And later arrive utensils and water. All opposite basically, asked for the check and I mentioned the waitress that for the food and beverage plus service i will not pay the minimum spend - her response was just saying yes with her head. They throw us the check, definitely not a memorable experience for this type of hotel/ bar.
This roof top located on the roof top of the hotel is very nice if your looking for a view look no longer ! Please be noted u must have a reservation the food prices are slightly high more than average but not bad my salmon kale salad was $30 the bottle of Saratoga water was $10. Drinks average $12 and up. There is also a beautiful park behind the hotel that is pretty as well. There is parking garage a block over which was great anything over 4 hours $50 overnight is $90 also the roof top opens at 10am closes 10pm.The lounge opens up at 5pm which is inside closes at midnight.
Beautiful views but unfortunately because of rain we were relocated from rooftop to lounge and set at the very back of the lounge. It looked more like waiting area. The thing is that it was my husband’s birthday and we left a special occasion notice “birthday” while booking a table.. Also tempura rolls weren’t even warm and I had a feeling they was cooked long before my order. Maybe I’m wrong but this is what I felt. Overall what you see on the picture cost us $105. I don’t think we will ever come back although views are very beautiful.
Wow what an incredible experience. I can’t say enough about the staff and ambience at this lounge. We are local Brooklynites who came here to celebrate our best friends engagement and it was truly a special afternoon. The staff was so incredible at making it a special day for our friends, the music was fire, and the cocktails and food were a 10. Highly recommend Coming here on a Saturday for brunch!

Amazing view, which this lounge / bar is definitely living from. We spent time on the rooftop until it got too cold, then moved downstairs to the inside bar, with the same stunning view. The cocktail menu is great and with $20 NYC average I'd say. There are not that many seating options unfortunately, if you want to stay longer than for just one drink, you should look into reserving a table (but not sure if it comes with a minimum spend, I haven't tried it).
Harriet's is incredible! Been here a year and never had an experience quite like it, especially thanks to my incredible server Aria. She's phenomenal, a kind old soul who attended to our every need. The food was alright, but Aria made the whole experience one any New Yorker cannot miss. #TeamAria

The service and ambiance were outstanding. The breathtaking view is priceless. Even though we arrived after 10 pm, the staff went out of their way to cater to us, exceeding our expectations. However, the food fell short; it's more suitable for snacking. Nevertheless, the sheer beauty of this place makes it an ideal spot for a proposal.

Arrived at 6:45 for our 7:30 reservation, and we we seated without any fuss for a drink before our food. Nice quiet spot, not too loud. Cocktails were excellent, staff were very attentive. Food arrived and was really good as well. Sat with some more drinks to watch the sunset. Best view ever of the Manhattan skyline. Highly recommended. Would definitely return.
The place is perfect to hang out and chill. Not to mention it’s overlooking the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge. Zen was so warm and accommodating. The food was delicious. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back again.

Beautiful view, unique and tasty drinks, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. I recommend sitting here over the rooftop itself. A few cons: Everything is super overpriced, and they automatically include 20% gratuity on the bill but leave a space for you to add tip, which is unclear and sketchy if you aren’t paying attention.
Amazing views, delicious cocktails and food. Went in a Tuesday night and had reservations for a large party. Be mindful that there are no tall tables for large parties... we were a party of 9. I really love the bathroom as well although there was no hot water. It is a pricey venue but it's to be expected.
I went here for my bday. The service was amazing! Very welcoming and nice. The view is gorgeous!! The food was great and Purple Haze is my favorite drink. I love it here and definitely will come back again.

The food (in this case the sushi and the veggie wrap) its not worth it at all. It was soggy and flavourless, without saying the excessive price. Service was ok. I would just come here for a drink and the ambience. Overpriced food, great view

Fantastic views!!! Location was so breathtaking!! Drinks were good but not out-of-this-world kinds :) But really really good drinks. Didn’t get a chance to try their food. That’s for next time. I’ll be back there soon for sure. Oh yes, the waiters and staff were all so nice and helpful!
Great rooftop for cocktails. The food menu is rather limited, but the views of Manhattan and rooftop atmosphere compensate for this. There is a minimum spend which varies by day of the week. It is consistently busy so I recommend booking a table in advance.
This is the best place we are at on our trip to New York! We've been to a handful of well known restaurants but this place won our hearts! It's worth the minimum $100 per person spend! Just the view itself is AMAZING!!! We decided to come
I get the mixed reviews of this place, so I'll preface with: do a quick menu search and set up realistic expectations! There is a min spend, which was $50pp on a weekday. Basically 2 drinks and a few plates to share will hit that min, and
One of the worst experiences I've had in the city in a while. Post-pandemic, I was naïve to think there'd be a greater focus on service since business was halted for so long. It was the same old superficial, hollow atmosphere a place like
Had some clients from out of town and figured i would bring them here for the views, which exceeded expectations . Seriously - the views, especially if you have out of town guests this place will definitely impress! The vibe is upbeat and
Harriet’s lounge has a special place in my heart as I proposed here. We had lovely service and they worked around the weather giving us the private room since the rooftop was unavailable. The drinks are very good and the food is solid -
I had an AMAZING night with my boyfriend here the other day. the food we had was great and filling; we both had the burgers and the fries were addicting they were so good. We also had a couple of well mixed drinks thanks to Sam the
Let me just say - the rooftop view (if you’re on the good side) - is great! You can see Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Skyline, Hudson River, and even the Statue of Liberty from this bar (it’s the size of a dot though), however, it’s
Beautiful place with an amazing view of the city, the people who work at Harriet's are very friendly and the drinks are very delicious! We will be back soon to try the new winter menu

Aria and Lewis were fantastic and took care of us like VIP. The view matches the service. Hope to be back to enjoy the experience again.

Amazing drinks and food but most of all amazing service from our server Aria. Gave us the best recommendations for food and cocktails. Ask to sit in her section for the best night out.
Amazing location with great views of Brooklyn bridge. Would recommend booking an area so you get seating with the views. Luxurious feel to it. Good date or special occasion spot.
Beautiful views! Excellent service. Limited menu. The lobster Bao was good, and the salmon rice was delicious. Will come back to check out the rooftop when the weather is warmer.
Kyle Payne gave us an amazing and delicious espresso martini experience. Very amicable!

The worse customer service. My wallet suddenly disappeared from the bar and the staff didn’t help To find it until I said I will call the police. Then the bartender had it.
The place is gorgeous, I would give this place a 5 stars but they have some staff issues, not the best service on the planet, but great vibe and beautiful view.

Have mixed feelings about this place... Pros: gorgeous backdrop of NYC ski on top of a swanky, tropical rooftop, really
