In 2015, when my wife was arrested for a DUI, it was completely devastating for the entire family. None of us had ever experienced anything like this and didn't know what to expect. I knew it would be best to hire an attorney and after researching reviews on Yelp, interviewing a number of attorneys and looking at other sites, we decided on Hart because of the glowing reviews and high respect that is attached to his name in the Los Angeles court system by clients and peers. First, Hart and his staff could not have been more warm and reassuring in this frightening time. Even though it was a first-time DUI, my wife's BAC had been high and the prosecutor was looking to give her 90 days in the county jail. As someone who had never been in any kind of trouble before this in her life, you can imagine that a sentence like that would have been crushing. Hart assured us that he could get the sentence vastly reduced and encouraged us to call him at any time if we had any fears or questions.He was also very generous with his fee and payment plan, making it possible for us to finance the fees over several months. Throughout the entire process, Hart and his wonderful assistant Jill answered all our questions and kept us up to date about the progress of the case so that we never had to wonder. We did still worry, but it was greatly reduced by their kindness and attention to detail. Any time I or my wife had a question, Hart or Jill got back to us in a very short amount of time, which is very impressive considering how many clients they must have at any given time. Hart appeared in court for us through all of the initial proceedings, limiting the stress that such appearances cause, and in the end the sentence was reduced to the lowest possible fine, and my wife spent less than a day in jail. Compare that to the 90 that would have happened if Hart hadn't fought so hard! After the sentencing, Hart and his staff were still there for us, making sure we understood all the steps that had to be completed--there were some classes and community service requirements--and filed those certificates of completion with the court for us. Everything was made so much easier knowing they were there to guide us through all of the red tape! Everything is completed now, and while it's been an extremely emotional and difficult year, Hart and his staff made the entire process SO much easier to handle and provided a great deal of comfort as well as excellent legal work. I can't recommend Hart Levin highly enough. Be smart and hire the best!

So I hit a lamp post and totaled my car as the airbag deployed, well I wasn't hurt, no one else was hurt but the cat wouldn't move and I had no AAA or roadside assistance, so I left the car (parked off to the side, emergency lights on) with the intention of coming back with someone who had AAA. In that time the cops saw the car on the road and impounded it. I was then informed the car was held for evidence as they actually assumed it was a hit and run and that I fled the scene!! Which obviously was not the case as I called my insurance and made my claim but it felt like the cops were basically trying to charge me for being too broke to afford a tow truck at the time of the accident. I was involved in a major traffic collision that was very obvious the other driver's fault. I can not recommend Hart Levin enough. I was involved in a horrific DUI accident, and was facing around 5-6 years of county jail time.
