The online courses are fair and when given the opportunity to join online collage, I jumped right on it. Granted I was somewhat hesitant on joining where the university just started and I wanted to do some research but, I only found reviews from the current instructors. Am I glad to be part of a school as they start? Absolutely! With a fair price and encouraging staff and instructors, I am motivated to be like them after graduation. I’m writing this review for others like me where I was skeptical, and wanted to do some research before being devoted into these studies. But as a student for the past two years of the time being of this review, I encourage others of the Christian faith to come on in and unlock your full potential with this university. Granted with this review there are complaints and the biggest one I find is the actual job search. There is no employment search as you graduated so get a head start with your district Human Resources and have a spot ready to be a Para-Professional to shadow as required or being a student teacher. That is where I’m getting ready to do and at times it feels like a “uphill battle” with how this university is connected to our and many other’s districts with positions change even when HR is aware of our studies. I hope this review sheds some light of my personal perspective and encourage anyone to reach out with staff if interested. -LV
When I heard about Hartwell University I thought was a great fit for me. My coworkers and I were so happy to go in to a collage that was there for our needs. But, the truth is that they give you incomplete information. Here is way. They said they can transfer 60 credits so if you already have you associates degree and if you start on you on with 60 well, they only apply 30 credits and not mention that if you have C and D grades those won’t apply to be transferred. So, you will have to complete 130 more with them. Not worth it if you already have your associates. Bc the means that you need to be 3 1/2 years with them taking 3 classes at week for 8 weeks each class. Also, the whole 2 years is all about Christianity Bible clases. I think is great but not if you graduate front HS many years ago. Bc you need the collage basics still.that’s was my experience. If you never been in collage to graduate in 4 years you will have to take 4-6 clases with them! to overwhelming! If you want it to take 2 clases as other collages it will take you 8 years!
Im so great full to be part of this amazing University.
